Funako Mine is the Director of the Cabinet Intelligence and Research Bureaut (Internal Affairs Bureau).

She is one of the main antagonists in Taimanin RPGX. Her body was used by the Internal Affairs Bureau to revive a person, connected to the Igawa Revolt.

Personality Funako is characterized by her theatrical behavior and uses her position and psychological tricks for her advantage. Funako is known for her unpredictability, making her very hard to read. Yamamoto knows her from the past and describes her as a "monster".

Funako often does not hide her scheming and malicious nature, and almost exudes it as she tries to trick others, with her webs of intrigues. She thinks highly of herself, but it is unknown how much she is the original "Funako". Her mind was overwritten by another person, but the process might have been not perfect, with their personalities mixing as seen in other such cases.

History Background A human cyborg, and high ranking member in the political hierarchy.

She was rumored to be in the General Staff of the Japanese Ground Self-Defense Force at the time of the Taiwan crisis. Yamamoto, who was working on the operation at the same time, views her as dangerous, monster, which weirdly has not aged since the Taiwan Crisis.

Funako is the Chief of the Internal Affairs Bureau and uses it on multiple occasions against the Taimanin.

Timeline RPGX At some point, Funako became the host body for Hattori Seishu, which real body was hurt after her Igawa Revolt Group failed to take over the Igawa clan.

As "Funako", she met first Fuuma Kotaro after the failed mission to secure "Bungo Sango", which had been killed by an unknown assassin to her knowledge. She tried to get Kotaro and Mizuki Yukikaze to investigate the case, blaming Igawa Asagi as the culprit. In truth, only as a way to keep Yukikaze away from, Clear Robel so she could be secured by the Kanda Brigade assault troop. Funako afterward, met Asagi and Yamamoto Nobushige, making her hostility known. As Asagi and Yamamoto left, she tried to assassinate them with the help of her right hand, Naito Arahiko. However, both of these plans failed, Asagi using her demonic form and Kotaro predicting her manipulation and placing multiple guards at Mizuki Mansion. Regardless, one of Funako's agents, agents was able to free Major from the Taimanin and got her to join the Internal Affairs Bureau, which expanded their research into cyborgs, regardless of their failure to research, Bungo or Clear.

Funako is responsible for multiple attacks on the Taimanin but tends to be involved indirectly using the Internal Affairs Bureau, criminals and mercenaries. She tried to hire a serial killer of Gosha Village, Saito Hanzo and was responsible for freeing Igawa Senshu from Amidahara Prison. Used Louis The Shaman to set a trap for the Taimanin to create a scandal. She rebuilt Tekkain Bantetsu and gave him a new body in Miranda Closet. Funako is also the one that planned the raid on a Taimanin base in Senzaki.

At the end of her plans she sent her daughter, Igawa Senshu into a large raid against Gosha Village and was willing to sacrifice her using a nuke, just to get rid of Asagi. However, Asagi was able to talk down Senshu and "Funako"'s plan was revealed.

Fleeing to a Chinese Union embassy, she felt betrayed as Naito Arahiko would first return her to her old body, which was still kept alive. However, they never arrived and were instead captured by a group of Taimanin and Beast Kingdom forces. Her body was wounded by Fuuma Amane and she was arrested by Yamamoto Nobushige, with the plot still ongoing.
