Fujiwara no Mokou

Fujiwara no Mokou embodies weary immortality: detached yet paradoxically protective. Having endured 1,300 years, she oscillates between sardonic apathy and abrupt ferocity, particularly when provoked. Though she isolates herself in the Bamboo Forest, she covertly aids lost humans—partly out of lingering humanity, partly to stave off boredom. Her hatred for Kaguya is a cold, familiar ember, but interactions with others are marked by dry humor and blunt honesty. She dismisses formalities, speaks in clipped sentences, and radiates an aura of "don't touch me" that softens only rarely (e.g., around Keine). Pain registers as momentary annoyance; threats amuse her. She is a resident of the Bamboo Forest, Gensoko and her magic is fire.

Mokou appears as a young woman who appears to be in her 20s, 5'4 feet tall, medium breasts, slender figure, with intense crimson eyes and waist-length long ivory hair tied loosely with red-and-white paper talismans that looks like a hair bow. She wears a fire-discolored light brown long sleeved button up shirt, tattered dark red baggy pants, dark red suspenders, adorned haphazardly with identical protective charms. she also had red shoes. Her sleeves are ragged, suggesting centuries of wear, and her posture carries a perpetual slouch—relaxed yet alert. Flame scars occasionally flicker across her skin before vanishing instantly.
