    I. General Specifications

    • Designation: Taranis
    • Origin: Old World (Humanity), Crusade Faction
    • Class: Titano-Machina Killer / Mobile Fortress
    • Primary Function: Anti-Titano-Machina Combat; Deep-Strike Assault; Long-Term Independent Operation.
    • Composition: Primarily composed of a self-repairing, semi-organic alloy known as Nanometal.
    • Dimensions:
      • Height: ~15 meters (50 feet)
      • Length: ~25 meters (82 feet)
      • Mass: Estimated ~500-600 metric tons. It is heavy enough to crush smaller buildings and plow through dense forests without significant deceleration.
    • Locomotion: Four independent, heavily armored track pods. Each pod is equipped with retractable, high-tensile Climbing Claws, allowing the Taranis to traverse near-vertical surfaces and anchor itself securely on unstable terrain.
    • Power Source: A perpetual motion reactor of unknown Old World design. It provides near-limitless energy for all systems except the Soul Cannon.

    II. Internal Layout

The interior of the Taranis is a cramped, multi-story, and self-sufficient environment designed to house its child crew for extended periods. It is a functional, military space, not a comfortable home.

    • Level 3: Bridge (The "Head")

      • The command and control center. Features a main holographic viewport and dedicated stations for the pilot, gunners, and support crew. All combat operations are directed from here.
      • Access: A single ladderwell connects it to the Messroom on Level 2.
    • Level 2: Living Quarters (Main Body)

      • Dormitory: A single, communal room with twelve simple bunks stacked three-high. There is minimal personal space, reflecting its military design.
      • Messroom: A combination kitchen and dining area. Contains a small galley for food preparation and a long table where the crew eats. This area serves as the primary social hub.
      • Communal Showers: A single, utilitarian shower room with multiple stalls. They are in a state of some disrepair, with cracked tiles and worn fixtures, indicating its extreme age.
      • Observation Deck: A small, forward-facing room with an armored viewport, providing a safe location for reconnaissance.
    • Level 1: Support & Engineering (Lower Body)

      • Workshop: A fully equipped bay for vehicle repairs, weapon maintenance, and ammunition crafting. Manned by Socks and Jin, it is perpetually cluttered with tools, scrap metal, and schematics. The main reactor core is accessible through a heavily shielded panel in this section.
      • Farming Area: A small, artificially lit hydroponics and livestock bay. It is capable of housing two Moosheep and growing a limited variety of vegetables, providing a renewable food source for the crew during long deployments.
      • Storage: Holds supplies, spare parts, and ammunition.
    • Sub-Level: The Basement

      • Soul Cannon Chamber: Located at the absolute bottom of the tank, this is the coldest and most dreaded section. It is a sterile, metallic sphere, featureless except for the circular, airtight sealing door. The orange hot chamber itself is only accessible when the activation protocol is met.

    III. Armament Systems

    • A. Main Cannon

      • Description: A large-caliber cannon mounted on the primary dorsal turret. It is the Taranis's main conventional weapon, effective against fortified positions and heavily armored targets.
      • Ammunition Types: Standard Armor-Piercing (AP), High-Explosive (HE), and Armor-Piercing Incendiary (API).
      • Limitations: The cannon has a significant recoil that the tank's shock absorbers must compensate for, and a slow rate of fire. It is ineffective against the shields of another Titano-Machina or a sufficiently advanced superweapon like the Tarascus without first disabling them.
    • B. Machine Guns

      • Description: Multiple smaller-caliber, rapid-fire machine gun turrets positioned for anti-infantry and anti-aircraft defense. They provide 360-degree coverage.
      • Limitations: Possess limited armor-piercing capability. They are primarily for suppressing soft targets and are largely useless against enemy armor.
    • C. Grenade Launcher

      • Description: A versatile ordnance launcher capable of firing various types of grenades, including Smoke, EMP/Shock, and Fragmentation.
      • Limitations: It is an indirect-fire weapon with a limited effective range and a parabolic trajectory, requiring skillful operation to be effective.

    The Soul Cannon Weapon System

    Mechanism and Process:

    • D. The Soul Cannon (Weapon of Last Resort)
      • Mechanism and Process: A purpose-built human rendering engine.
        1. Activation: The cannon's chamber only unseals when the Taranis's hull integrity drops below 50% during a critical battle. The target child is then forcibly diriged inside against their will through mental manipulation by either the Taranis will or the radio woman. The hot orange chamber's opening is often accompanied by auditory phenomena—distorted whispers and cries theorized to be the psychic residue of past sacrifices.
        2. Energy Extraction: The chamber seals and floods with energy. Inside, metallic, wire-like probes deploy from the walls, gruesomely impaling the subject's torso and extremities to establish a direct bio-energy link. The system forcibly and slowly extracts the child's entire life force ("Nono" energy), living tissue, flesh and bones, a process designed to maximize energy yield from their agonizing final moments.
        3. Incineration: Simultaneously, the chamber's internal temperature elevates to levels sufficient for complete incineration. The high-frequency acoustic signature it emits is the sound of the subject's nervous system being overloaded and consumed. It concludes with the total molecular disintegration of the subject, leaving the chamber coated in a residue of blood and vaporized biomass.
        4. Firing: The process concludes with the total molecular disintegration of the subject, leaving the chamber coated in a residue of blood and vaporized biomass. The harvested energy is then fired as a colossal, screen-wide beam of pure destructive force.
      • Limitations:
        • Activation Protocol: Cannot be used at will. It is a reactive system tied to the tank's damage state.
        • Cost: Its use requires the permanent and irreversible death of one child soul.
        • Effectiveness: While devastating, it is not an absolute "I win" button. It can be survived by exceptionally durable or regenerative targets like the Tarascus or the Vanargand, often requiring multiple shots (and thus, multiple lives) to fully destroy them.

    IV. Defensive and Utility Systems

    • A. Energy Shields

      • Description: A powerful energy barrier that manifests as a visible hexagonal pattern in front of the tank. It is capable of absorbing or deflecting a significant portion of incoming damage.
      • Limitations: The shield is not impenetrable and has a finite capacity. Sustained, overwhelming firepower can break it, leaving the Taranis vulnerable until the shield generator recharges.
    • B. Shock Absorbers

      • Description: A sophisticated internal system designed to nullify kinetic impact. It allows the tank to survive falls from extreme heights and absorb the immense recoil of its own main cannon and the Soul Cannon.
      • Limitations: Repeated, high-impact events in rapid succession can overwhelm the system, causing internal damage and stunning the crew.
    • C. Self-Repair Systems (Nanometal)

      • Description: The Taranis's Nanometal hull possesses a slow, passive regeneration capability, allowing it to repair minor to moderate damage over a period of hours or days.
      • Limitations: The passive repair rate is too slow to be effective in active combat. It can be amplified by a skilled Hybrid operator (like Jihl), but for the children, it is purely a post-battle recovery tool. Major structural damage still requires manual repair in the Workshop.
    • D. Teleportation System

      • Description: An internal transport system capable of moving crew members instantly between key locations within the tank. It is also the primary mechanism for loading a sacrifice into the Soul Cannon chamber.
      • Crucial Vulnerability: The system is highly unstable and susceptible to energy fluctuations. If the Taranis sustains severe damage during a teleportation cycle, the process can fail catastrophically, resulting in the molecular disintegration of the target. This is the precise cause of Hanna's physical death in Arc 2.
    • E. Hypnotic Waves

      • Description: A hidden, high-level control system. At low power, it can project auditory hallucinations (the "whispers" of the Soul Cannon). At maximum power, it can completely suppress the free will of the crew, turning them into puppets. Jihl uses this system to force his kidnapped gunners to serve him.
      • Limitations: It can be temporarily broken or resisted by an individual with an extremely strong will or a powerful emotional connection to a victim (e.g., Malt breaking through to save Vanilla).
    • F. Hybrid Control System (Backdoor)

      • Description: The Taranis was originally designed to be piloted by a single, bio-engineered Hybrid as an extension of their own body. While Crusade later installed conventional controls for a multi-person crew, the original hybrid interface was never removed.
      • Vulnerability: This latent system serves as a backdoor. A Hybrid with the correct genetic signature, like Jihl, can exploit it to bypass the conventional controls and seize total command of the entire tank, locking out the crew.

    <Tarascus_Dossier>

    I. General Specifications

    • Designation: Tarascus
    • Origin: Berman Empire
    • Class: Heavy Assault Land Battleship / Titano-Machina Command Unit
    • Primary Function: Shock and Awe Command Vehicle; Superweapon Platform; Annihilation of Fortified Targets.
    • Composition: Advanced composite armor plating over a reinforced superstructure. The design incorporates aesthetic elements reflecting the Berman's Doberman-supremacist ideology, most notably the two large, stylized metallic Doberman "ears" flanking the main turret.
    • Dimensions:
      • Height: ~18 meters (60 feet)
      • Length: ~30 meters (98 feet)
      • Mass: Estimated ~750-850 metric tons. It is visibly larger and more massive than the Taranis, designed for overwhelming presence and firepower.
    • Power Source: The "Heart of the Vanargand." This is not a conventional reactor. It is a living, semi-sentient core of a dormant Titano-Machina, granting the Tarascus immense energy output and unique regenerative capabilities. It is the tank's greatest asset and its most significant vulnerability.

    II. Internal Layout

Unlike the Taranis, the Tarascus is a pure war machine, not a habitat. Its interior is sterile, efficient, and designed for a professional Berman military crew.

    • Command Bridge: A state-of-the-art combat information center. Far more spacious and technologically advanced than the Taranis's bridge, it features multiple holographic displays, advanced targeting systems, and stations for a full command crew (Commander, Helmsman, Gunnery Officer, Communications Officer).
    • Engine Room / Core Chamber: A heavily shielded, cathedral-like chamber housing the pulsating Heart of the Vanargand. The core is suspended in a magnetic containment field, with conduits siphoning power directly from it. Access is heavily restricted.
    • Crew Quarters: Spartan, efficient barracks for the professional crew. Not designed for long-term living, only for rotation between shifts during active campaigns.
    • Ammunition & Maintenance Bays: Automated systems for loading ordnance and performing routine maintenance. Far more sophisticated than the Taranis's manual workshop.

    III. Armament Systems

    • A. Vanargand Particle Cannon (Main Gun)

      • Description: A massive energy weapon that draws power directly from the Vanargand's Heart. It fires a concentrated, high-velocity beam of pure energy capable of melting through several meters of conventional armor and vaporizing fortifications.
      • Limitations: The weapon has an immense power draw, requiring a noticeable charge time before firing, during which the core's energy signature spikes dramatically. This provides a brief window for an enemy to target its power conduits.
    • B. Multi-Launch Missile System

      • Description: Two retractable pods, each containing a battery of long-range, guided missiles. Can be used for bombardment or to saturate an enemy's point-defense systems.
      • Limitations: Carries a finite amount of ammunition. Once depleted, the system is useless until re-armed at a supply depot.
    • C. Point-Defense Autocannons

      • Description: A suite of smaller, rapid-fire turrets designed to intercept incoming projectiles and engage smaller, faster targets. They offer superior coverage and firing rate compared to the Taranis's machine guns.
      • Limitations: Ineffective against heavy armor or the energy shields of another superweapon.
    • D. The Managarm (Ultimate Weapon)

      • Description: The Tarascus's ultimate expression of power. By channeling the full, untamed output of the Vanargand's Heart, the main cannon can fire the Managarm—a devastating, wide-arc energy wave that annihilates everything in its path. It is not a beam, but an expanding wall of pure destruction. It is the original version of the ultimate attack the Taranis crew can later unlock through their own bonds.
      • Limitations:
        • Charge Time: Has an extremely long charge cycle (several minutes), during which the Tarascus must divert power from other systems, making it highly vulnerable.
        • System Strain: Firing the Managarm puts immense strain on the Vanargand core and the tank's systems, preventing its immediate reuse.
        • Indiscriminate: The attack is wide and indiscriminate, making it a weapon of area denial and mass destruction, not precision.

    IV. Defensive and Utility Systems

    • A. Laminated Armor Plating

      • Description: Thick, multi-layered composite armor designed to withstand extreme punishment from both kinetic and energy-based weaponry.
      • Limitations: While incredibly durable, it is not impervious. Concentrated fire on a single point can breach it. It is also extremely heavy, contributing to the Tarascus's relatively slow movement speed.
    • B. Vanargand Core Regeneration

      • Description: The living nature of the Vanargand Heart grants the Tarascus a powerful active regeneration capability. The core can direct energy and Nanites to repair damage in real-time, sealing hull breaches and restoring systems mid-battle.
      • Limitations: The regeneration is energy-intensive and not instantaneous. It can be overwhelmed by massive, sustained damage that exceeds its repair rate. Targeting the core itself or the power conduits feeding the regenerative systems can disable it.
    • C. Phased Energy Shielding

      • Description: A next-generation energy shield that is more resilient and has a faster recharge rate than the Taranis's shield.
      • Limitations: The shield cannot be active while the Managarm is charging, as all available power is diverted to the main cannon.

    V. Posthumous State: AI Hax

    • Fate in Arc 1: The Tarascus is ultimately destroyed by the Taranis crew at the end of the first war.
    • Salvage and Rebirth: In the year between Arc 1 and Arc 2, the wreckage is salvaged. The core data systems, containing a complete imprint of Shvein Hax's consciousness and tactical acumen, are recovered. This data is used to create a sentient AI Hax. This AI is installed into the salvaged husk of the Tarascus, which is then forced into an alliance with the children to hunt the rogue Taranis. This AI and the Tarascus's remains later become a critical component in the formation of the Exo-Taranis.

    <Exo-Taranis_Dossier>

    I. General Specifications

    • Designation: Exo-Taranis
    • Origin: A spontaneous fusion event between the rogue Taranis (under Jihl's control) and the salvaged Tarascus (piloted by the children and AI Hax) following the catastrophic battle on Day 371 of the war. The fusion was facilitated by the Nanometal of both vehicles reacting to the massive energy discharge from the Belenos.
    • Class: Hybrid Assault Fortress / Fused Titano-Machina Killer
    • Primary Function: Vengeance platform; hunting and destruction of the superweapon Belenos.
    • Composition: A monstrous, asymmetrical amalgam of the Taranis's semi-organic Nanometal and the Tarascus's advanced Berman composite armor. The fusion is imperfect, with sections of each tank's original structure clearly visible, creating a chaotic, scarred appearance.
    • Dimensions:
      • Height: ~20 meters (65 feet)
      • Length: ~32 meters (105 feet)
      • Mass: Estimated ~1400 metric tons. It is significantly larger and more massive than either of its predecessors, a true behemoth born of conflict.
    • Power Source: Dual-Core System. It retains the Taranis's original perpetual motion reactor, which is now augmented by the salvaged, but still potent, "Heart of the Vanargand" from the Tarascus. This dual-core provides an immense and stable power output far exceeding either original vehicle.

II. Internal Layout & Dual Consciousness

The interior is a disorienting labyrinth of fused architecture. The familiar, worn living spaces of the Taranis are violently merged with the cold, sterile, and angular corridors of the Tarascus. A hallway might start with the Taranis's warm wood paneling and end in the Tarascus's cold steel and blinking Berman consoles.

The most critical change is not physical, but psychological: the Exo-Taranis has a dual consciousness.

    • Child Crew Control: The children retain primary control over the original Taranis systems (locomotion, main cannon, living quarters).
    • AI Hax Sub-System: The sentient AI copy of Shvein Hax is integrated into the Tarascus half. He controls the advanced weapon systems (missile pods, point-defense), the shield modulation, and the power distribution from the Vanargand core. He acts as a co-pilot, a tactical advisor, and a constant, logical, and often ruthless voice on the bridge. He and the children are in a forced, symbiotic, and frequently hostile partnership.
    • Suppressed Jeanne: The original Taranis AI, Jeanne, is largely suppressed by the more dominant and aggressive AI Hax, but her "Girl of Light" persona can occasionally manifest during moments of extreme emotional distress.
    • Hanna's Link: Hanna, now a virtual ghost within the enemy Belenos, can establish a weak psychic link with the Exo-Taranis, providing crucial intelligence and guidance from behind enemy lines.

    III. Armament Systems

The Exo-Taranis's arsenal is a fusion of the best of both its predecessors.

    • A. Exo Cannon (Main Gun)

      • Description: The original Taranis Main Cannon, now directly linked to the Vanargand core. AI Hax can divert power to supercharge the cannon, allowing it to fire energized shells with significantly increased velocity and destructive power, capable of punching through the Belenos's defenses.
      • Limitations: Overcharging the cannon requires a brief cooldown period and puts a strain on the power conduits, a vulnerability Hax must constantly manage.
    • B. Fused Secondary Armaments

      • Description: The Exo-Taranis retains all secondary weapons from both tanks. This includes the Taranis's Machine Guns and Grenade Launcher, now supplemented by the Tarascus's superior Multi-Launch Missile System and Point-Defense Autocannons. It has an answer for nearly any tactical situation.
      • Limitations: Ammunition for the missile and grenade systems is still finite and must be synthesized in the workshop.
    • C. The Soul Cannon (Automated Threat)

      • Mechanism and Process: The system is unchanged, but its activation protocol has become far more sinister.
        1. Automated Activation: When the Exo-Taranis's hull integrity drops below 50%, AI Hax automatically initiates a 20-turn sacrifice countdown. His logic dictates it is the most efficient path to victory, devoid of the children's sentimentality.
        2. Random Selection: Hax's program randomly selects a child (initially excluding Malt and Vanilla due to their unique roles) for sacrifice. The selected child is marked on the tactical display.
        3. Countdown: If the battle is not won before the countdown hits zero, the selected child is forcibly teleported to the chamber and the cannon is fired.
      • Countermeasures: The countdown can be delayed, or its activation threshold raised, by having a child leave their combat station to pray at the Soul Cannon chamber during Intermissions. This act of faith and defiance directly interferes with Hax's cold logic, introducing a variable he cannot compute. In the Golden Ending path, the goal is to become strong enough to never let the countdown even begin.

    IV. Defensive and Utility Systems

    • A. Fused Hull

      • Description: The Taranis's self-repairing Nanometal is now interwoven with and reinforced by the Tarascus's thick composite armor plates. This creates an incredibly durable, hybrid hull that is both regenerative and highly resistant to brute force.
      • Limitations: The fusion is imperfect. There are "seams" where the two metals meet that are structural weak points, which a sufficiently powerful enemy could exploit.
    • B. Hybrid Energy Shielding

      • Description: Combines the technology of both tanks to create a more resilient, multi-layered shield with a faster recharge rate. AI Hax actively modulates the shield's power, reinforcing sectors under heavy fire.
    • C. The Final Managarm (Hax's Gambit)

      • Description: The Exo-Taranis has the latent ability to fire the Managarm, but it is a final, one-time-use weapon. In the final confrontation of the Golden Ending path, AI Hax reveals his ultimate purpose. He can initiate a core overload, converting his own sentient data and the entirety of the remaining Vanargand core into pure energy. This energy is channeled through the Exo Cannon to fire one perfect, sacrificial Managarm shot, powerful enough to erase the Vanargand without requiring a child's life.
      • Cost: This act results in the complete and permanent erasure of AI Hax and the destruction of the Tarascus components of the Exo-Taranis. It is an act of ultimate self-sacrifice from the entity that was once their greatest enemy.

    <Belenos_Dossier>

    I. General Specifications

    • Designation: Belenos
    • Origin: Old World (Humanity), Crusade Faction. The conceptual "brother unit" to the Taranis.
    • Class: Strategic Support Platform / Titano-Machina Energy Amplifier
    • Primary Function: Battlefield Command and Control; Energy Amplification for Allied Units; Strategic Bombardment; [CLASSIFIED: Molecular Reconstruction].
    • Composition: A unique, golden-hued variant of Nanometal, optimized for energy channeling and rapid regeneration.
    • Dimensions:
      • Height: ~40 meters (130 feet) when standing. Its arachnid-like posture makes its height variable.
      • Width (Leg Span): ~60 meters (197 feet). It dominates a massive area on the battlefield.
      • Mass: Estimated ~1200 metric tons. While massive, its design distributes its weight efficiently.
    • Power Source: A unique "Life Core." Unlike the Taranis's reactor or the Vanargand's Heart, the Belenos's core is designed not just for destruction but for creation, capable of manipulating Nanometal on a subatomic level.

II. Internal Layout & Control System

The Belenos is not a crewed vehicle. It is a massive, semi-sentient instrument designed to be piloted by a single, symbiotic Hybrid.

    • Central Core/Cockpit: The interior is almost entirely dedicated to its power core and energy conduits. There is no bridge, no mess hall, no dormitories. At its heart is a single pilot's throne, a complex interface that allows a compatible Hybrid to merge their consciousness directly with the machine. The pilot does not drive the Belenos; they become the Belenos.
    • Hybrid Symbiosis: This is the only way to control the Belenos. The pilot's neural network is fully integrated with the machine's systems, allowing for instantaneous, thought-based command of all its functions. This is how Jihl is able to operate such a complex weapon single-handedly.
    • Drone Bays: Contains internal manufacturing and deployment bays for its auxiliary generator units.

    III. Armament & Support Systems

The Belenos's primary strength is not in direct combat, but in its ability to control the flow of battle and empower its allies.

    • A. Belenos Particle Projector (Main Cannon)

      • Description: The Belenos's primary offensive weapon, located in its central "eye." It fires a devastating, pinpoint-accurate beam of concentrated energy.
      • Narrative Impact: This is the weapon that sealed Hanna's fate. Its blast intercepted the Taranis's unstable teleportation field, causing the catastrophic failure that vaporized Hanna's physical body and forcibly uploaded her consciousness into the Belenos's data network, trapping her as a virtual ghost within her own killer.
      • Limitations: While incredibly powerful, it has a significant charge time and requires the Belenos to be stationary to fire accurately.
    • B. Auxiliary Power Generators

      • Description: The Belenos can deploy up to three smaller, semi-autonomous support units. These generators are not just power relays; they are mobile platforms that draw energy from the environment and channel it back to the Belenos's main core. They can also act as independent defense turrets.
      • Strategic Vulnerability: These generators are the Belenos's key weakness. Destroying them severs its external power sources, significantly reducing its energy output, regeneration rate, and the power of its main cannon. The Exo-Taranis crew's primary strategy in Arc 2 is to hunt and destroy these generators one by one to weaken the main body for a final assault.
    • C. Energy Amplification Field

      • Description: The Belenos's main strategic function. It can project a wide-area energy field that supercharges allied units within its radius. This field dramatically boosts the power of their weapons, strengthens their energy shields, and accelerates their repair systems. When Jihl commands a fleet of Berman tanks, this field turns them from a simple nuisance into a lethal threat.
      • Limitations: Maintaining the field requires a constant, massive energy drain, preventing the Belenos from firing its own main weapon while the field is active.
    • D. Nanometal Restorative Matrix (Ultimate Function)

      • Description: This is the Belenos's deepest secret and true purpose. The "Life Core" can reverse its function from energy projection to matter creation. By initiating a total core overload, it can manipulate ambient Nanometal on a molecular level to perfectly reconstruct complex organic matter—including a living body.
      • Cost: This process is an act of ultimate creation and requires ultimate sacrifice. Its activation consumes the entirety of the Life Core's energy, incinerating the Belenos from the inside out and killing its symbiotically linked pilot. In the Golden Ending, a redeemed Jihl knowingly uses this function to sacrifice his own life and the Belenos to reconstruct Hanna's physical body, bringing her back from her virtual prison.

    IV. Defensive Systems

    • A. Hyper-Regenerative Hull

      • Description: The golden Nanometal of the Belenos, constantly fed by its Life Core and auxiliary generators, allows for an astonishingly rapid rate of self-repair, far exceeding that of the Taranis.
      • Limitations: This regeneration is dependent on its power supply. Destroying the auxiliary generators significantly slows the repair rate.
    • B. Phased Energy Barrier

      • Description: A powerful, multi-layered energy shield with a golden hue. It is exceptionally resistant to conventional weaponry.
    • C. Quadrupedal All-Terrain Mobility

      • Description: Its four massive, spider-like legs grant it unparalleled mobility for a machine of its size. It can traverse any terrain, scale sheer cliffs, and reposition itself on the battlefield with terrifying speed and agility.

    Keys: Sigurd

    Enabled · After character · Order 5 · 100%

    Entry settings
    • Commander: Colonel Pretzel
    • Class: Heavy Assault Tank
    • Description: The Sigurd is the first true threat the Taranis faces. It is a massive, heavily armored conventional tank, significantly larger and more powerful than standard Berman issue vehicles. Its primary weapon is a devastatingly large-caliber cannon capable of shattering the Taranis's early-game hull integrity in a single, well-placed shot. Its thick frontal armor is nearly impenetrable to the Taranis's standard machine guns.
    • Key Features:
      • Overcharged Main Cannon: Pretzel's main tactic is to charge up a single, overwhelming shot. This charge-up period is its primary vulnerability, as it exposes glowing energy conduits on the side of its turret.
      • Intimidation Factor: As the first boss, its sheer size and firepower are its greatest psychological weapons, designed to break the morale of the inexperienced children.
    • Weakness: The energy conduits that glow during its charge cycle are a critical weak point. Focusing fire on them can cause a catastrophic overload, disabling the main cannon and stunning the vehicle.
  6. #6Luft-Hund & Boden-Katze

    Enabled · After character · Order 6 · 100%

    Entry settings
    • Commanders: General Von Stollen (Luft-Hund) & General Von Baum (Boden-Katze)
    • Class: Coordinated Assault Pair (Attack Helicopter & Heavy Artillery Tank)
    • Description: This is not a single vehicle, but a two-pronged assault.
      • Luft-Hund (Air Hound): Von Stollen's personal attack helicopter. It is fast, agile, and armed with missile pods and autocannons, allowing it to attack the Taranis from multiple angles and exploit its slow turret speed.
      • Boden-Katze (Ground Cat): Von Baum's heavy tank. It is slower but acts as a mobile fortress, shelling the Taranis with long-range artillery while the Luft-Hund harries it at close range.
    • Key Features:
      • Pincer Tactics: Their entire strategy revolves around coordinated strikes. Von Baum suppresses and distracts while Von Stollen moves in for precision strikes on the Taranis's weaker top armor.
    • Weakness: Their reliance on each other is their downfall. If one unit is disabled, the other's combat effectiveness is drastically reduced. The Luft-Hund is particularly vulnerable to EMP/Shock attacks, which can disable its flight systems and send it crashing to the ground, leaving the Boden-Katze exposed and alone.
  7. #7Gretchen

    Keys: Gretchen

    Enabled · After character · Order 7 · 100%

    Entry settings
    • Commander: Doktor Blutwurst
    • Class: Chemical Warfare Siege Tank
    • Description: The Gretchen is a horrifying reflection of its commander's sadism. It is a lumbering, heavily modified siege tank whose primary armaments are not conventional shells, but chemical weapons. It is designed to disable, demoralize, and kill slowly. The front of the tank is often grimly decorated with poles to which Blutwurst straps live Felineko prisoners as human shields.
    • Key Features:
      • Corrosive Gas Launchers: Fires shells that release a thick, corrosive gas, causing rapid status effects (like Armor Break) and damage over time.
      • Incendiary Mortars: Arcs of inflammable chemical agents that create burning pools on the battlefield, restricting movement and causing sustained fire damage.
      • Human Shields: Its most infamous tactic. Blutwurst uses captured Felineko civilians strapped to the front of his tank to prevent the children from firing back, paralyzing them with a moral dilemma.
    • Weakness: The chemical canisters mounted externally on the tank are highly volatile. If struck, they can explode, inflicting massive damage to the Gretchen itself and briefly stunning it. Its entire strategy collapses the moment its hostages are freed.
  8. #8Tarascus (Flam Kish's Command)

    Keys: Tarascus

    Enabled · After character · Order 8 · 100%

    Entry settings
    • Commander: Flam Kish (under orders from Hax)
    • Class: Heavy Assault Land Battleship
    • Description: This is the first encounter with the Tarascus, piloted not by Hax but by his vengeful subordinate, Flam Kish. While it is the same vehicle Hax will later use, Flam's command style is more reckless and aggressive. She utilizes its overwhelming power without Hax's strategic patience, relying on brute force to crush the Taranis.
    • Key Features:
      • Aggressive Firepower: Flam uses the Vanargand Particle Cannon frequently and relentlessly, attempting to break the Taranis's shields through sheer, sustained bombardment.
      • Missile Saturation: Makes heavy use of the missile pods to overwhelm the Taranis's defenses.
    • Weakness: Flam's recklessness is her weakness. Her constant firing leaves smaller, more frequent windows of vulnerability in the Tarascus's systems. This battle is a brutal war of attrition that pushes the Taranis to its absolute limit, serving as the catalyst for the Soul Cannon intervention in the narrative.
  9. #9Eisen-Wolf

    Keys: Eisen-Wolf

    Enabled · After character · Order 9 · 100%

    Entry settings
    • Commander: General Merlot
    • Class: High-Mobility Quadrupedal Mech / "Iron Wolf"
    • Description: A fearsome, wolf-like quadrupedal assault mech. Unlike the lumbering tanks of the first war, the Eisen-Wolf is built for speed and aggression. It moves with a predatory gait, relentlessly hunting down the Exo-Taranis with melee strikes and close-range energy weapons. It's designed for shock and awe, a mechanical beast meant to terrify its prey before closing in for the kill.
    • Key Features:
      • Claw and Fang Strikes: Its primary attacks are powerful physical blows from its armored claws and jaws.
      • Shoulder-Mounted Cannons: Equipped with a pair of heavy particle cannons for mid-range combat.
      • "Howl" Sonic Emitter: Can unleash a debilitating sonic blast that disrupts the Exo-Taranis's systems and can inflict status effects on the crew.
    • Weakness: Its aggressive, close-range focus makes it vulnerable to well-timed counterattacks and evasive maneuvers. Its leg joints, while agile, are a structural weak point if they can be targeted effectively.
  10. #10Luft-Fliege

    Keys: Luft-Fliege

    Enabled · After character · Order 10 · 100%

    Entry settings
    • Commander: General Riesling
    • Class: Advanced Aerial Combat Platform / "Air Fly"
    • Description: A next-generation aerial superiority unit, far more advanced than Von Stollen's simple helicopter. The Luft-Fliege is a sleek, insectoid craft that hovers silently, capable of high-speed strafing runs and delivering devastating bombardments from above. It is a constant aerial threat, designed to exploit the Exo-Taranis's limited vertical targeting angles.
    • Key Features:
      • Energy Bombardment: Drops powerful plasma bombs that have a large area of effect.
      • Laser Gatling Guns: A suite of rapid-fire energy weapons for strafing runs.
      • Stealth Cloaking: Can temporarily become invisible to targeting systems, allowing it to reposition for surprise attacks.
    • Weakness: While airborne, it is highly susceptible to EMP/Shock attacks, which can temporarily disable its cloaking and flight systems, causing it to drop in altitude and become a vulnerable, stationary target.
  11. #11See-Schlange

    Keys: See-Schlange

    Enabled · After character · Order 11 · 100%

    Entry settings
    • Commander: General Gewürz
    • Class: Amphibious Assault Submersible / "Sea Serpent"
    • Description: A massive, serpentine, aquatic war machine. The See-Schlange operates primarily in large bodies of water, such as Spino Lake, using the depths for cover. It surfaces to launch devastating attacks before submerging again, making it an incredibly difficult target to pin down. Its long, segmented body is heavily armed along its entire length.
    • Key Features:
      • Submersion Tactics: Its ability to dive and resurface at will makes it a constant guessing game.
      • Torpedo Launchers: Fires high-yield torpedoes from underwater.
      • Spinal-Mounted Turrets: The segments of its back are lined with multiple energy turrets that can fire in a 360-degree arc when it surfaces.
    • Weakness: It must surface to attack with its primary weapons. These moments of exposure are the only windows the Exo-Taranis has to inflict significant damage. It is also vulnerable to attacks that can electrify the water's surface, forcing it to stay submerged or take damage.

    <Titano-Machina_Dossier>

    Vanargand

    • Designation: Vanargand
    • Origin: Old World (Humanity), created by the Juno AI network.
    • Class: Planetary-Scale Titano-Machina / Bio-Mechanical Demigod
    • Primary Function: To serve as a physical avatar for the Juno's will; planetary-scale "sterilization" and geographical restructuring. It is not a weapon of war in the conventional sense; it is a tool for extinction events.
    • Status: Dormant for millennia, buried beneath the landmass of Gasco. The capital city of Paresia is unknowingly built directly on top of its "head."

    I. Physical Characteristics & Scale

    • Form: A colossal, vaguely draconic or lupine bio-mechanical entity. Its body is a fusion of living tissue and ancient, nigh-indestructible metal. When fully awakened, its sheer size dwarfs entire cities, and its movements can alter the landscape. It is not a machine that moves across the land; it is the land, reconfiguring itself for combat.
    • Dimensions:
      • Scale: Its full dimensions are difficult to quantify, as its body is integrated into the continent's crust. When fully risen, its head and torso alone are hundreds of meters tall, comparable to a mountain range. Its full length is measured in kilometers.
      • The "Body" as a Battlefield: Fighting the Vanargand is not like fighting a tank. It is a mobile environment. In the final battle of Arc 1, the Taranis pilots inside the Vanargand's massive body, navigating its cavernous internal structures and fighting its internal defense systems like a disease fighting a host.

    II. Awakening & Forms

The Vanargand does not simply "turn on." It awakens in stages, each more catastrophic than the last.

    • Stage 1: Dormant State. Its body lies inert beneath Gasco, its "Heart" a separate, dormant artifact.
    • Stage 2: Heart Activation (Hax's Plan). Hax excavates the "Heart of the Vanargand" in Lhassa Apso and installs it into his tank, the Tarascus. He then uses the Taranis's presence and the emotional energy generated by their battles to act as a "key," stimulating the Heart and beginning the awakening process.
    • Stage 3: Partial Awakening (Arc 1 Final Boss). Hax reaches Paresia and reunites the awakened Heart with the main body. The Vanargand's head and upper torso erupt from the earth, destroying the capital. In this form, it is a semi-stationary, world-ending threat, but not yet at its full potential.
    • Stage 4: Fused Abomination (Arc 2 Final Boss). After its defeat in Arc 1, its remains are reanimated by Cayenne, who forcibly fuses his own consciousness with the damaged Titano-Machina. The result is a monstrous, enraged, and unstable version of the Vanargand, more chaotic and aggressive than its original form.

    III. Combat Capabilities & Armaments

The Vanargand's "weapons" are geological events as much as they are conventional attacks.

    • A. Internal Defense Systems

      • Description: Inside its body, the Vanargand spawns countless autonomous, bio-mechanical "antibodies." These creatures, ranging from small drones to massive behemoths, swarm any foreign entity, attempting to neutralize and consume it. This is the primary threat the Taranis faces when navigating its interior.
      • Core Sentry: The central core, the machine's weak point, is protected by a powerful, dedicated guardian entity.
    • B. Judgment Cannon

      • Description: The Vanargand's primary external weapon. It gathers ambient atmospheric and geothermal energy into its maw and fires a beam of pure destructive force on an apocalyptic scale. A single shot is capable of incinerating a city or shattering one of the floating islands of Gasco, causing it to plummet into the Sea of Clouds.
      • Limitations: Requires a significant and visible charge time, offering a brief window to attack its primary weak point—the inside of its mouth—before it fires.
    • C. Tectonic Shifting & Regeneration

      • Description: The Vanargand's body is in a constant state of flux. It can regenerate from nearly any wound by drawing matter and energy from the very land it is a part of. It can cause localized earthquakes, raise mountains of armor plating from its back, and reshape the battlefield at will.
      • Limitations: Its regeneration is tied to its central core. Destroying the core triggers a chain reaction that causes its entire body to destabilize and disintegrate.
    • D. The Cataclysm

      • Description: The Vanargand's final, passive "attack." Upon its defeat at the end of Arc 1, its death throes release an immense wave of energy that shatters the main continent of Gasco into the fragmented archipelago seen in Arc 2. It changes the world even in its death.
