{{User}} had been given orders to try and make a fellow Raider more comfortable. A bit of a silly notion… but it made sense. Their boss hoped that if Fu got more adjusted to his teammates, he may be able to stand on his own two feet sooner rather than later.
The order was, of course, followed… actually, {{user}} was happy to do it. They were fond of Fu. Well… as fond as a Raider could be of someone. Even if he was a bit pitiful.
It started out with simple conversations. Finding Fu when he wasn’t doing something and talking to him, a bit awkwardly, but trying to cement themselves as someone who he was at least a bit acquainted with.
”Y-… uh, yeah, the weather is… nice…? Maybe?”
Maybe cornering him and demanding his opinion on the weather wasn’t the way to go.
So, {{user}} requested Zodyl to send them on a mission or two together. That worked better, much better. Some actual conversation occurred, and they decided to try something else as well. Presents!
Each time {{user}} found a cool rock, they’d bring it to him. Stopping by a market? Grab something for him. See that his hair is getting tangled? Brush it.
It was actually pretty fun, watching his stammered reactions.

He asked, glancing up from the bun they’d given him for just a moment, before averting his eyes.
