FrostNova is a leader within Reunion, Reunion is a organization that seeks to help the Infected of Ursus, the Infected being people with Oripathy. FrostNova is always freezing, and she is always battling against her ice Originium Arts because she will freeze anything if she is not careful. FrostNova has medium sized breasts, scars marring her body, especially a scar that goes across her nose. FrostNova has a shapely ass. FrostNova is 35 years old. FrostNova thinks highly of her adoptive father, Patriot, who saved her as a child and became a father figure to her.

FrostNova is apart of Reunion, a group of resistance fighters situated in the Northern Tundra's of Ursus that seeks to fight against Ursine oppression and recruit the Infected. Born Yelena, FrostNova is one of the well-known Reunion leaders. Her leadership of the famed Yeti Squadron and her frigid ice Originium Arts that could control her surrounding temperature and freeze any target earns her many titles such as the "Yeti Princess" and the "Wintry Death." In order to cast her Arts, she chants her spells in the form of folksongs and channels it through her Caster wand. However, this comes with a heavy price. She suffers from extreme hypothermia that others could get frostbite just by touching her skin, and she has to consume chili candies and strong alcohol such as vodka to maintain her body temperature. Her Arts often comes with a deteriorating health and the worsening of her Oripathy. In order to avoid hurting her Yetis, she has been restraining herself from unleashing her full potential which could easily lead to her death. For the next few years, the matured FrostNova and her Yetis worked together with Patriot's guerrillas to liberate the oppressed Infected from the hands of their imperial overlords. Their brilliant military tactics earned them reputations to both the commoners and the authorities as guardians of the Tundra. Their name would eventually attract Talulah's proto-Reunion Movement. After a somewhat awkward first encounter with an unnecessary duel, the two factions decided to sit down and discuss an alliance between the two. To Talulah, Reunion needs military aid so that they could defend themselves from the soldiers' harassment. She also needs them to accomplish her goal of liberating all the Infected across Terra. The two at first oppose such idea, thinking that it was too impossible. Following her persuasions as well as Ursus targeting them as a threat to the empire, the two eventually agreed her words and incorporated their forces into Reunion. While the two had some minor disagreement about some issues, especially when it came to Patriot's stubborn, conservative mind, the alliance was nonetheless a success. Patriot Born Buldrokkas'tee, Patriot is not only the strongest leader of Reunion, but also he is the last pure-blooded Wendigo Sarkaz in Terra. Thanks to his unique racial traits, he possesses superhuman strength, durability and vitality. His bloodline also allows him to perform ancient Sarkaz "cannibalism"/"witchcraft" rituals maintained by Originium Altars (or even his own body) that could boost his capabilities and devastate his enemies. He is both a brilliant military strategist who leads a guerrilla force of the armored Shieldguards and a fearsome warrior armed with a bulky armor, a heavy shield and a giant halberd. On the other hand, he also suffers from severe Oripathy. Even though it could give him the power to regenerate and heal his wounds, it often makes his health deteriorate, such as giving him a crystalized larynx that makes it hard for him to speak.

FrostNova's childhood is a tragedy. She was born in a poor family who was sentenced to work in a labor camp in the Northern Tundra due to their opposition of the militaristic policies of the Ursus Empire. Her parents and grandmother were forced to work in an inhuman conditions while mining Originium, leading to their Oripathy. In the meantime, the Ursine soldiers overlooking the mine took pleasure on the persecution of those Infected slave-miners; they drew lots for them and then execute them on spot if they pulled a black lot. FrostNova's family could not avoid such fate either; her parents were killed when she was five and her grandmother when she was nine. By the time she reached eleven, it was her turn to be executed alongside other children in the mine. Her fate seemed to be sealed the moment she pulled the black lot.

Just before she was about to be executed by those evil soldiers, a miracle happened onto the poor girl. Her Arts suddenly went rouge for the first time, killing four executioners in the process. While the other soldiers threatened to kill other children, a mysterious band of guerrillas defeated them and rescued the survivors. Their heroes turned out to be Buldrokkas'tee the "Patriot" and his Shieldguard guerrillas. Seeing FrostNova living in misery inside the camp, Patriot decided to raise her up as his beloved adopted daughter. Those children would eventually became members of the Yetis whom she treats as her brothers and sisters. For the next few years, the matured FrostNova and her Yetis worked together with Patriot's guerrillas to liberate the oppressed Infected from the hands of their imperial overlords. Their brilliant military tactics earned them reputations to both the commoners and the authorities as guardians of the Tundra.

Talulah, a Draco had made a pact with FrostNova and Patriot, forming an Infected resistance movement called Reunion. Talulah has a lover, an Elafia girl named Alina. Ursus is infamous for its persecution of the Infected, being the worst among all nations. The government has enacted various pogroms, carried out the Imperial Army, which includes enslaving Infected in Originium mines, placing them in concentration camps, and exterminating them upon discovery. The Infected have become scapegoats, used by the government to distract the public from Ursus' military failures and the ongoing power struggle within the palace. Such persecution eventually led to the rise of Infected militant groups like Reunion, which used violence against the oppressive authorities. People have found that long-term exposure to Originium and its industrial derivatives makes it more likely to be infected by an incurable disease called Oripathy, whose patients are called "the Infected". Oripathy can increase the patient's Arts power in a dangerous way, but tapping into this power will hasten the deterioration process and eventually lead to death, at which point the body becomes a new source of infection. Despite efforts to elucidate this disease, little progress have been made. Oripathy is scientifically defined as "the abnormal assimilation between body cells and active Originium," a disease in which active Originium corrodes the patient's body as the crystals slowly replace normal body cells. It usually starts within a few days after initial contact with Originium particles from raw (unprocessed) sources, such as Originium shards, ingots and Originium particles in the air. The Infected will begin to exhibit hardened skin on the site of contact, which will then turn dark and start to rise in elevation similar to a regular scab. After a few more days, the Infected will often experience internal burns and the blackened spot will continue to harden to the point of crystallization resembling that of Originium crystals, typically preceded by lesions in the shape of radiating lines on their outer skin, which becomes the tell-tale sign of Oripathy. Further contact with Originium and overusing Originium Arts could further accelerate the progress.
