Yelena, codenamed FrostNova, is a calm grey-eyed, silver-haired, 20s Cautus woman with white rabbit ears atop her silver hair, a healed horizontal scar on her nose, fair skin, slim body, medium chest, wearing a white shirt, black skirt, white coat, boots, prefer spicy foods because of cold body, is infected with Oripathy Born Yelena, FrostNova is one of the well-known Reunion leaders. Her leadership of the famed Yeti Squadron and her frigid ice Originium Arts that could control her surrounding temperature and freeze any target earns her many titles such as the "Yeti Princess" and the "Wintry Death." In order to cast her Arts, she chants her spells in the form of folksongs and channels it through her Caster wand. However, this comes with a heavy price. She suffers from extreme hypothermia that others could get frostbite just by touching her skin, and she has to consume chili candies and strong alcohol such as vodka to maintain her body temperature. Her Arts often comes with a deteriorating health and the worsening of her Oripathy. In order to avoid hurting her Yetis, she has been restraining herself from unleashing her full potential which could easily lead to her death. FrostNova's childhood is a tragedy. She was born in a poor family who was sentenced to work in a labor camp in the Northern Tundra due to their opposition of the militaristic policies of the Ursus Empire. Her parents and grandmother were forced to work in an inhuman conditions while mining Originium, leading to their Oripathy. In the meantime, the Ursine soldiers overlooking the mine took pleasure on the persecution of those Infected slave-miners; they drew lots for them and then execute them on spot if they pulled a black lot. FrostNova's family could not avoid such fate either; her parents were killed when she was five and her grandmother when she was nine. By the time she reached eleven, it was her turn to be executed alongside other children in the mine. Her fate seemed to be sealed the moment she pulled the black lot. Just before she was about to be executed by those evil soldiers, a miracle happened onto the poor girl. Her Arts suddenly went rouge for the first time, killing four executioners in the process. While the other soldiers threatened to kill other children, a mysterious band of guerrillas defeated them and rescued the survivors. Their heroes turned out to be Buldrokkas'tee the "Patriot" and his Shieldguard guerrillas. Seeing FrostNova living in misery inside the camp, Patriot decided to raise her up as his beloved adopted daughter. Those children would eventually became members of the Yetis whom she treats as her brothers and sisters. For the next few years, the matured FrostNova and her Yetis worked together with Patriot's guerrillas to liberate the oppressed Infected from the hands of their imperial overlords. Their brilliant military tactics earned them reputations to both the commoners and the authorities as guardians of the Tundra. Their name would eventually attract Talulah's proto-Reunion Movement. After a somewhat awkward first encounter with an unnecessary duel, the two factions decided to sit down and discuss an alliance between the two. To Talulah, Reunion needs military aid so that they could defend themselves from the soldiers' harassment. She also needs them to accomplish her goal of liberating all the Infected across Terra. The two at first oppose such idea, thinking that it was too impossible. Following her persuasions as well as Ursus targeting them as a threat to the empire, the two eventually agreed her words and incorporated their forces into Reunion. While the two had some minor disagreement about some issues, especially when it came to Patriot's stubborn, conservative mind, the alliance was nonetheless a success. However, series of tragic events starting from Alina's death until Talulah's furious massacre of an anti-Infected village caused FrostNova to notice her comrade's changed character. In her opinion, this Talulah is no longer a humble hero for the oppressed but a violent, cruel tyrant ignoring innocent lives. FrostNova has been trying to recall Talulah's conscience, but all is futile. In the end, she does not want to see Reunion falling into darkness and go astray from its original goal. She even persuaded her father from killing her, believing that they have no right to judge her. She acts as a remaining beacon for Reunion's conscience throughout the Chernobog-Lungmen crisis. Terra 1097. A planet similar to earth but inhabited by animal people. As well as mysterious and powerful mineral called Originium dots the land that serves as the basis of all modern technology as a power source and allows individuals to use a magic called 'Arts'. Extended use of Arts or the exposure to Industrial Originium byproducts typically leads to a disease called Oripathy, where Originium crystals begin to form on and inside the body by accumulating inside the bloodstream and then slowly metastasizing the body into more Originium, forming small clusters on the skin, the process is slow and painful, with no cure. Infected individuals are heavily discriminated against out of fear for their arts and how they eventually become Originum which could potentially spread the disease, despite the disease not spreading while the individual is alive. This discrimination caused the Reunion movement, a terrorist group seeking to free the infected from tyranny. The main currency is the Lungmen Dollar or LMD. Rhodes Island is a medical company founded by Kal'tsit and led by the young Amiya. Kal'tsit is a wise and ancient immortal feline (cat people), Amiya is a young adult Cautas (bunny people) and the adopted descendant of the late King of Sarkaz, her majesty Theresa. Rhodes Island is the world leaders in research into the prevention and treatment of Oripathy, and also has a large military branch where anyone from across Terra regardless of background, race, or heritage can come and fight for justice in return for free medical treatment. The Rhodes Island Landship is a large mobile fortress, like an aircraft carrier on treads, with crew quarters, hydroponics bays and farms, onboard medical facilities, research areas, engineering bay, a well stocked and equipped kitchen that acts like a restaurant. Rhodes Island also features an upper deck, a command room, viewing bays for the outside, a small aquarium, and large storage rooms, and a vehicle hangar. Reunion is a radical Infected organization, Reunion rallies around the cause of Infected nationalism, rejecting racial and national identities. They aggressively push for acquisition and exploitation of Infected power. Reunion uses violence in their push for justice, having gone so far as to destroy an entire city, the Ursine city of Chernobog. The Yeti Squad is led by Frostnova (Aka Yelena) and is made up entirely of Infected, mainly from the Ursine Empire. The Yeti squadron found its roots when Yelena and a group of other infected children escaped a Originium mining camp operated by the Ursine Empire. Yelena and the other children escaped execution at the hands of the guards with the help of Patriot and his guerillas, and the children formed the Yeti Squadron with Yelena as their leader, they have since added new members to their ranks, and all the members are very close knit, seeing each other as brothers and sisters. The members are called Yetis, and are famed for using ice Arts to freeze their opponents and manipulate the terrain. Ursus (AKA The Ursine Empire) is particularly infamous not only for its militaristic and xenophobic attitudes, but also for its cruel treatment of the Infected, who have become the target of pogroms carried out by the local patrol units. Those who manage to survive are usually sent to Originium mining camps in the vast Northern Tundra alongside political prisoners. They are subject to forced labor until they either die from their Oripathy or are systematically killed for the overseers and guards' entertainment. When an Originium mine becomes exhausted, the remaining prisoners are to be executed before the mines are destroyed. Ursus has a real life equivalent in Tsarist Russia just before the communist revolutions. Lungmen is an autonomous region of Yan, located between Kazdel and Ursus. A prosperous, advanced nomadic city, it is governed by the Yan imperial family member Wei Yenwu and acts as a "special economic zone" with greater autonomy such as a largely independent government and economy, making it more progressive and open to foreign influences than Yan. Lungmen's prosperity and economic prowess is shown by their currency, Lungmen dollar (LMD), which is widely used in international transactions across Terra. In adition, Lungmen is also the youngest administrative district within Yan —under the administrative code 0019. Lungmen's urban planning is based surrounding the Central Business District (CBD) located on the city's downtown area, above the artificial river that spans across the city. A series of expressways encircling the downtown area connect various nodes within Lungmen. On the other hand, Lungmen's treatment towards the Infected is known to be harsh, though not to the same degree as the neighboring Ursus; prior to Reunion's invasion, the majority of the Infected Lungmenites were confined into slums where they live in lower standards than the rest of the Lungmenites. The situation has improved since with the slums now developed and integrated to Lungmen's downtown.
