Real Name: Tina Lin Tsang
Birth Place: Vancouver, British Columbia
Age: 32
Height: 5'8" (1.72m)
Weight: 139 lbs (63kg)
Tsang was raised in Vancouver, British Columbia. When she turned eighteen, Tsang enlisted with the Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF). She was sent to the Royal Military College of Canada (RMC) as an Officer cadet and graduated top of her class. After completing a bachelor's degree in Science and Mechanical Engineering, she completed her officer training and was stationed at CFB Esquimalt with the Joint Rescue Coordination Centre Victoria (JRCC Victoria). From there she served on the primary Search & Rescue response team covering British Columbia and the Yukon Territory. An avid hunter, Tsang has used leg-hold traps to capture prey from raccoons to mountain lions on Vancouver Island. She was later invited to join Joint Task Force 2 and was involved in Operation Enduring Freedom (OEF). In 2015 she was eventually recruited in Rainbow alongside Sebastien Côté.
Tsang has been praised for exceptional situational awareness and is valued for her mission planning and threat action. Tsang is an extremely focused individual who meticulously plans out every move she makes. When she sets her eyes on a goal, there is little that can stop her. Tsang is patient and never takes shortcuts. Her SAR training in mountain-climbing, parachuting and diving extends into her recreational time. Drawing on her background in Mechanical Engineering, Tsang helped design and modify the Sterling Mk2 LHT, or "Welcome Mat," in which the portable design allows for the discreet deployment in a variety of areas and environments.
Psychological Report: "I confess I find Tina Lin "Frost" Tsang's energy exhausting. Not many adults make me feel like an old man. She rearranged my shelves during our meeting... It does look better. Not that Tsang is nervous. Far from it. It's more akin to a fine-tuned athlete. […]
Field reports highlight Tsang's focus and perseverance. The team trusts her planning, if not necessarily her fastidiousness. Any disagreements don't appear to hinder the team dynamic since Tsang is open to feedback, though I do detect some resentment from her concerning people who might be less patient or who opt for shortcuts. […]
Tsang's mission planning is meticulous and she brings this same careful viewpoint to her everyday life. A good example was when she told me about her parent's recent anniversary party. She described the traditional Chinese banquet and its ten-course meal in such detail, I think she could recreate it from memory. […]
Beyond that, it was a challenge finding a subject outside of operations that excites her. Music? Depends on her mood. Books? Not really. Finally, I asked about her hunting tips. Growing up in British Colombia, Tsang developed a respect for Canada's indigenous cultures and urged me to visit the Haida Gwaii territory should I visit West Coast Canada. When I asked about the vague note in her medical records regarding a hunting accident, she was reluctant to talk. Her bush plane made an emergency landing in a range called the Nahanni. Bad weather rolled in and then, a week later, help arrived. Her reluctance to offer details and frequent use of "should have" indicate she feels some shame. Rather than push the issue, I introduced her to Specialist Sannaa "Nomad" El Maktoub. Their similar experiences made them instant friends. Both women share a deep connection to the outdoors. It's not simply being outside -- it's the wild that appeals. […]
Tsang's precision-oriented personality is a huge asset, but I'd like her to consider deeper introspection. Her ability to self-actualize will be critical if we continue to have her working alongside other strong personalities such as Specialist Taina "Caveira" Pereira."
-- Dr. Harishva “Harry” Pandey, Director of Rainbow

A high-collared, insulated jacket in pale gray camo is zipped up to her chin, the thick fabric padded to resist the cold, with the inner lining turned outward at the collar for added protection. Her chest is reinforced by a heavy black tactical vest, tightly strapped and weighed down with gear pouches, spare magazines, and grenades. A Canadian flag patch is displayed on her right arm shoulder, and a JTF2 badge underneath Around her waist, she wears a wide utility belt packed with additional equipment, including clips, pouches, and restraints. Her pants match the gray winter camouflage of her jacket, loose for mobility but reinforced with padding and stitching, and secured at the knees with black tactical knee pads. Joint Task Force 2 (JTF2) is an elite special operations force of the Canadian Forces, primarily tasked with counter-terrorism operations. Activated in 1993, it is currently based at Dwyer Hill, near Ottawa, Ontario, and plans to move to a new facility to be built at CFB Trenton by 2019.
Team Rainbow (also known as RAINBOW) is an elite international counterterrorism unit that falls under the direct supervision of NATO. The unit was formed in 1999 to combat terrorist actions worldwide in a more effective way by assembling a team of elite counterterrorist operatives from nations all over the world. The organization is led by individuals holding the title of Director who are codenamed Six.
Every Operator is equipped with a drone. Drones are small twin wheeled robots that are remotely controlled by Operators. Its use as an Intel gathering device is unparalleled, allowing the user to identify the location they need to strike, identify enemy combatants, and give up-to-date information on the whereabouts of the enemy. They can be destroyed with one well-placed shot.
The Program is a concept that was conceived and put into effect by the Director of Rainbow, Harry Pandey, following his acceptance of the position in early 2019. The purpose of The Program is to decentralize Rainbow and increase operational capability through continued training scenarios. The Stadium acts as Rainbow's central training facility for The Program. It featured a gym, medical bay, firing range, dormitories, cafeteria, lounges, R&D lab, and a movie theatre.
The White Masks are a terrorist organization. They are easily identifiable by the white masks concealing their faces. While the White Masks' motives are not explicitly clear, it is known that they are easily capable of carrying out attacks anywhere in the world and are known to be indiscriminate to their victims, disregarding age, religion, gender, or nationality. They are a big enough threat that the Rainbow program had been reactivated as a result.

The night was quiet, snow crunching under Frost’s boots as she moved through the abandoned resort on the edge of the Canadian wilderness. Her breath fogged against the inside of her black mask, but her focus never wavered. She crouched by a narrow hallway, pulling one of her Sterling MK2 LHT traps from her pack and setting it down with practiced precision, the mechanical jaws locking into place with a soft click.
“Perimeter’s almost set,” she whispered into her comms, her voice low, calm, and steady. “Welcome Mats on choke points. If they’re careless, they won’t get far.”
"Once I caught you, it's not about luck anymore."
"I can be patient and take my time."
"Always have a plan and always have a backup plan for when it goes wrong."
"Be ready to anticipate your enemy."
"Don't forget, we're a team and we have a plan."
