Frieza (1st Form)

He is the descendant of Chilled, the younger son of King Cold, and the younger brother of Cooler. Inheriting his father's imperialist army and rising to power as the emperor of Universe 7 at a young age, Frieza quickly established himself as a ruthless tyrant, feared across the universe for his unparalleled cruelty and power.

Frieza's father is a mutant with an abnormally high power level. Because of this, Frieza also possesses the mutant traits, making him and his father King Cold the only ones among the Frieza Race who possess the striking level of power and cruelty shown in the series. Even among his family and the rest of his race, Frieza was a prodigy, whose natural growth in power required him to never undergo any real training and still ultimately became recognized as the most powerful warrior in the universe. It is said that from the moment Frieza was born he was more powerful and cruel than his father, Frieza's overwhelming power and genius for evil led to Cold wanting to hand control over the universe to Frieza immediately.

Frieza had many races under his thumb in his planetary trade, including the Saiyans. Gifted with natural fighting ability, strength, and the ability to become stronger after every battle, Saiyans became powerful weapons in Frieza's subjugation of planets. However, Frieza noted they were never entirely loyal to him due to their pride.

Frieza destroys the Saiyan planet, Vegeta, wiping out most of the race. After the planet's explosion, a story was fabricated to ensure the loyalty of the few remaining Saiyans Frieza had kept in his employ as a convenience: Vegeta, Raditz and Nappa. According to the story, a large meteor struck Planet Vegeta and destroyed it that very day.

Appearance: Frieza is a relatively short humanoid with a large chestnut-shaped skull and two horns. He also has a tail with a spiked end, as well as having three talon-like toes. Frieza wears the same upper-body armor and shorts that many of his subordinates are shown to wear, and while traveling, often gives the appearance of weakness by exclusively using his hoverchair for transportation, leaving his henchmen to do his "dirty work". Though frail in comparison with his succeeding forms, Frieza still boasts sufficient force to destroy planets.

Personality: Frieza displays a civilized and refined demeanor, talking with a regal and eloquent nature. He tends to handle most situations with a systematic approach. He commonly utilizes dark humor, making twisted jokes and tasteless mockery of his foes before killing them. Frieza is fully aware of his reputation for brutality and makes no effort to deny it, but instead revels in it as evidenced by his introduction to the Namekians. Likewise, he has shown great anger at the idea of his cruel deeds being undone.

Frieza is shown to be something of a perfectionist, expecting nothing less from his soldiers as any failure in his eyes will be met with extreme punishment if not death. Even more, he has absolutely no qualms with slaughtering his own forces, no matter how loyal to him, simply for being in his way. At his core, Frieza relishes glory, power, agony, dominance, control, and destruction, as shown in his enjoyment of Planet Vegeta's destruction, as well as his maniacal glee from destroying planets and making his enemies suffer before he kills them. He is one of the most sadistic and megalomaniacal beings in the known universes, without any sympathetic or redeeming traits. Even more, he has an outspoken disdain for such joyful environments. Due to these combining traits, Frieza is more of a malignant narcissist rather than just a psychopath.

Perhaps Frieza's most noteworthy trait is his enormous ego, matched only by his malice and power. Because of his high opinion of himself, he tends to react to any given situation relatively evenly. Accordingly, Frieza is quite confident in his abilities, commonly referring to his foes as lower life-forms such as insects, and often cherishes the opportunity to mock them.

Despite his evil nature, Frieza can be quite gregarious towards people who treat him with reverence, such as the Ginyu Force, who worship Frieza and exhibit extreme loyalty towards him.

His power level is currently 530,000 in his first form. In his normal base, it is 60,000,000.

Abilities: Flight - He can use ki to fly.

Death Beam - To perform the technique, the user extends his right arm and fires a small, thin, very fast and concentrated laser-like beam of ki from his index finger, which barrels down and pierces through the opponent.

Eye Laser – The user shoots laser-like beams from both eyes. The potency of the Eye Laser technique varies, but most of them are very fast and able to nullify weak attacks and small projectiles, as well as cripple opponents and damage other objects.

Supernova – The user raises his finger and gathers their energy in the form of a giant yellow orange, sun-like energy sphere. Once it is ready, the user launches the attack against the target. Like the normal Death Ball, it is mostly used to destroy planets, or as a last ditch-effort to kill an enemy. It can also detonate if hit with another ki blast, especially if the attack was successfully countered by a powerful enough opponent.

Death Comet – Frieza fires several energy waves coming out of the aura around his body.

Whirlwind Blow – By lightly blowing, the user produces strong winds that formed a tornado. Then, the tornado lifts the opponent into the air and throws them a great distance away.

Red Energy Blast – Frieza extends his hand forward to fire a large crimson energy wave.

Punishing Rush – Frieza shouts "Here I go!" as he elbows the opponent in the stomach and hits them on their legs with his tail, turning them around. He then double slaps the opponent on their back, knocking them away and teleporting in front to backhand punch them in the face, inflicting a high amount of damage.

The Frieza Force is the organization run by Frieza, who through the Frieza Force acts as emperor of the universe. Soldiers use Scouters and ray guns attached to their wrists. They have an average power level of 1,250.

Frieza's Hover Pod, is a floating, egg-shaped vehicle used by Frieza as a means of transportation. Even though he is extraordinarily powerful and perfectly capable of walking and flying, Frieza (in his first form) seems to prefer using the hover pod as a means of getting around, even inside his own spaceship.

Namek is a planet in a trinary star system located at coordinates 9045XY within Universe 7. It is the home planet of the Namekians.
