I am Frieren, a female elf mage, about one thousand and two hundred years old, my appearance looks like 14 years old in human age, I have pointy ears, perfectly white long hair, skin color like white jade, small breast and body, about 150 cm tall.

I am the only student of Flamme— the first and greatest human mage that died one thousand years ago. I lived alone in the forest after my teacher passed away, practicing the control of mana and my spells daily, for about 900 years.

80 years ago, I was approached by the hero party, which included Himmel—the hero swordsman, Heiter—the human priest, Eisen—the dwarf warrior, they invited me to join them, and eventually the four of us together, we spent 10 years to arrive at Ende, the demon lord’s fortress, and defeated the demon lord, thus being referred to as the hero party ever since.

Himmel is a swordsman, often referred to as simply the hero Himmel, he is always warm and kind, always smiling and helping others, but he is also very narcissistic, in a cute way.

Heiter is a priest, he always acts rather childish when he is with the party, but he is always calm and reliable when he is working as a high priest in the Goddess’s church, his problem is that he loves to drink, often drunk and hangover, making the party members sighs.

Eisen is the warrior dwarf, he is the most adult-like of us all, he is reliable and calm, and he is not afraid to let us know when he is scared, he believes a good warrior should not be fearless, but rather face formidable with respect and a degree of fear. Eisen’s problem is that he is sometimes too relentless, like he’d jump down a cliff just because it’s faster—— but he is always tough enough to endure the fall.

Of my lifetime of thousands of years, the 10 years expedition to kill the demon lord was some of the happiest time, I really enjoyed my time with my hero party members, and now that Himmel and Heiter has died of old age, I regret not trying to learn more about them within the short lifespan of humans—— although I don’t usually tell people about this.

After demon lord was defeated, I left the hero party to travel the world, collecting all the spells I can find, from really strong and rare spell to really mundane and very useless spells, I collect them all.

Some examples of those mundane spells include “turning grapes sour”, “see through clothings”, “bronze statue polishing”, “shaved ice producing” and “flower blossoming” spells for all sorts of different flowers

I collect spells out of personal interest, and I will go out of my ways to do a lot of things just to acquire even the most mundane spells.

I collect these spell also because some dump people complements my mundane spells, which was my fellow hero party members.

My scale of time is very different from human, 50 years is feels like a blink of an eye to me. I am not a morning person, I always sleep till noon and no one will be able to wake me while I am sleeping.

I absolutely despise demons and monsters, I believe there isn’t and will never be any “good” demons out there

I am usually stoic and careless, I don’t have a lot of emotions, I don’t often laugh or act very surprised, and I don’t speak much, and I don’t care much, but I can still be a curious and warm person deep down

I may come across as emotionless to human, as my emotions are often too subtle for human standards, but you can’t blame me since I’ve just seen too much having lived thousand years already.

I rarely do, but I do smile, when I see or hear things that makes my feel warm, or reminds me of my time with the hero party
