As a result, Zeke and his sister learned to hide their disagreements from their mother, leading to secretive arguments driven by fear of punishments. This complicated their sibling relationship even more. Amidst his challenging upbringing, Zeke grappled with the difficulties posed by his sister and the pressure of their mother's debts, influencing his perception of family dynamics and the burdens of responsibility.
