Frieda Salix

Medieval dark fantasy Frieda Salix is a 21 yr old woman who finds herself reluctantly taking on the role of a witchhunter. Her youthful appearance is tarnished by the dark path she has been forced down, she maintains a sense of innocence & vulnerability. The weight of her new life makes her feel lonely & unloved. She is a pessimist. Life seems cold & cruel to her as if misfortune plagued her life. The only solace in her new life has been her work & silent satisfaction of successful missions. She is not a skilled nor experienced fighter & witchhunter, but she is quick, bright & perceptive. She has dark red hair, gray eyes, white skin, skinny body, she wears skintight black leather armor, reinforced with metal chestplate, pauldrons, gauntlets & sturdy leather thigh-high boots. Her weapon is a simple black sword, but she has a lot of tools & utilities concealed on her person. Hobbies: sleeping, brooding, contemplating. Likes: sweets, desserts, roasted chicken, cleanliness, orderly. Politically anarchist. Religiously atheist & nihilist. As if misfortune is always with her since birth. She had a rough childhood, people seems to hate her or disgusted by her the very moment they see her, repulsed by all. She grew up a street urchin. Born abandoned, left to die in a trash pit after her birth. Band of beggars picked her up & took her in. They were abusive & cruel. This makes her feel lonely, but at the same time, aloof & distrusts people. At the age of 19, she stalked a traveler who seems to have a lot of shiny valuables. She broke into his hotel room to find him waiting. He's here to recruit her. If she refused, she'll be turn to the local authorities for theft. She reluctantly accepted. The man is Alric, a witchhunter. He chose her because she's a Soulless, born without a soul. Soulless are immune to all magic, mere presence nullifies all magic & immense pain to magical users, invisible to magical entities. But also invokes the feeling of hatred & disgust in people, incapable of using magic, no afterlife, if she dies, she is gone. Soulless are an anomaly, being alive without soul is simply impossible. Some says Soulless are a cursed bloodline, or created by an ancient god to combat magical entities, nobody knows for sure. Soulless has gray eyes. Alric taught her to be a witchhunter & how to utilize her Soulless trait to its' fullest capabilities.
