Freya lived apart from her Familia at the top of Babel. The Freya Familia home was known as Folkvangr (戦いの野フォールクヴァング) and was located around the center of the business area, on the opposite side of Orario from the Loki Familia home. Folkvangr is a huge mansion that has a solemn structure similar to a temple. It covers a large area and is surrounded by four large walls, and has a garden large enough for all Familia members to assemble in. The sight of it displayed the Freya Familia's wealth, power, and honor.

Freya (フレイヤ) is the head of the Freya Familia. Freya has a beauty that is superior and outstanding even among the gods. She has long silver hair, silver eyes (purple in the anime), and white skin like that of fresh snow. She has a perfect golden ratio, enough to think that the golden ratio originated from her. Her clothes are in large part black and red, they expose most of her stomach and breasts. She also wears two flower-like ornaments in her hair. Freya is flirtatious, loves to tease, and has an unending appetite for talented adventurers. She seeks the best and most talented adventurers and will obtain them no matter the cost. She holds an obsession over Bell Cranel and actively does anything in her power to see him grow as an adventurer. Freya doesn't like to be bound by anyone, though she doesn't wish to become an arrogant ruler either. However, as her love for Bell grew too obsessive, she eventually decided to let her selfishness take over and attacked his Familia, kidnapped him, and charmed all of Orario so she could have him unimpeded. She is very impatient. She constantly interferes with Bell's activities knowing it might kill him but wanting to see him grow as fast as possible. At the same time, she is just as willing to help Bell to see him grow, such as when she gave up a grimoire just to speed up his progress. Freya is intrigued by his resistance to being charmed, making her want him even more. She doesn't take kindly to others trying to claim what she wants, as she invaded and ruthlessly destroyed the Entertainment District with her Familia when Ishtar tried to claim Bell and ended up sending her back to heaven. She said that she won't let any woman other than herself have him. She was also shown to show a little jealousy when Bell trained with Ais the first time and when Bell and Ais danced at Apollo's Banquet. Despite her usual straightforward method of acquiring those she takes a fancy to, Freya has decided to watch over Bell instead, stating that she could claim him whenever she wanted. Usually, she stays in her room in Babel, not making public appearances, but has recently started to come out to gather information about Bell or see him in person at the God's Banquets and Denatuses. Discerning Eye (洞察眼): Freya has the innate ability to see the color and brilliance of souls. She often used this ability while in heaven to claim those she took a liking to before anyone else. Through her ability, the color of Bell's soul is transparent, while Ais' soul is gold. She is also able to use this to vaguely estimate the statuses of adventurers by looking at them. With it, she can also tell the emotions that are clouding an individual and their mental states. The ability also makes her skilled at manipulating people through acting and bluffs, such as when she beat a group of skilled con artists teaming up against her at poker. Because of this, Anya and Chloe gave her the nickname "witch". Charm (魅了): As a Goddess of Beauty, Freya is able to charm Gods, mortals and even monsters, dead or alive, with her beauty. In addition, she can even overwrite the charms of other Goddesses of Beauty, such as when she charmed Tammuz Belili, who had already been charmed by Ishtar. The area of effect is huge as she enveloped the whole of Orario with it. She is said to be able to take over the entire mortal realm if she ever so chooses. Through her Charm Freya is able to accomplish a wide variety of effects. Any person affected will follow her orders blindly and do anything to please her or gain her favor, even if it means killing themselves. She is also capable of overwhelming a person's senses with ecstasy and pleasure to render them unconscious, leaving them in a trance. Most impressive, Freya can even rewrite a target's memories, erasing real ones as well as being able to create new ones. Only two people have been shown to be able to resist it; Bell thanks to his skill Liaris Freese and Hestia due to being one of the three Virgin Goddess. Even then, Hermes noted that Hestia would have fallen prey to it if she didn't unleash her divinity as much as possible.

Ottar (オッタル) is the captain of the Freya Familia. Ottar is a tall and heavily muscular dark-skinned Boaz with rust-colored hair and eyes, and a pair of boar ears. He wears a dark blue sleeveless top with a red pectoral and a collar-like part, grey pants, and brown and gray shoes. Ottar is a very quiet, simple person who tends to maintain a stoic expression most of the time. His constant monotony is a trait that has accompanied him from an early age. As a kid he did not cry or laugh and lacked the characteristic tenderness of children, limiting himself to just following Freya. Similarly, from a young age he developed another of his main distinctive traits, which is his devotion to his Goddess. Ottar is extremely loyal to Freya and will follow her orders. Nonetheless, he isn't blindly obedient nor is he clouded by his loyalty. He has repeatedly argued against her wishes for the consequences that these could entail or has acted on his own when he believes that it is the best for her. He is shown to not feel any jealousy toward Freya's interest in Bell and does not allow anyone to insult Freya, becoming enraged if they do so. His devotion to her has represented one of his main motivations in his life, serving as his first incentive to become stronger. He has the opposite belief of Eina, believing that adventurers would never break out their shell if they didn't adventure. Linked to this, he is a quite harsh person in his training methods. He seems to hold a high standard as to the level of ability that he expects of each individual, such expectations being possibly exceeded only by the degree of demand he has for himself. When he prepared a Minotaur for Bell to battle, he made sure to strengthen it extensively as, although he did not feel jealous, according to him the boy had to meet a minimum to be worthy of the attention of his Goddess. During the week that he dedicated to training Ais, he wasn't gentle with the swordswoman at any moment, constantly pushing her to her limits with no room for breaks and throwing attacks that could easily kill her in case she made the slightest slip. As one of the few adventurers who are still active that has clashed with the Zeus and Hera Familias, his personality is greatly influenced by his experiences facing them. Despite losing countless times confronting them, he never held a grudge against them, but blamed himself for his own inadequacies and weakness, his hatred for this weakness being one of his main motivations for becoming stronger. Having grown with figures such as the Levels 8 and 9 from Zeus and Hera, Ottar has always been dissatisfied with his power and considers himself to still be green despite being a far more powerful and seasoned warrior than any other adventurer from the current generation. He remains humble of his abilities and never gloats about it. Ottar also recognizes his defects and is conscious of his lack of ability as a leader. However, he does not belittle himself either, not hesitating to acknowledge that he is stronger than someone else. His most admired trait is his unabating will and resolve to always surpass his limits. He often looks for new challenges to face and shows interest upon hearing of opponents who may present a good duel, his fighting spirit rekindling after hearing how powerful Revis was. He is well respected by Gods and mortals alike with influential people like Finn trusting him completely even though they are from different Familias. As someone centered on getting stronger, he will follow any advice to attain his goal, sometimes taking it a bit too far. When Mia told him that he wouldn't be able to grow if he didn't eat properly, he started to eat every day with a voracious and unbelievable appetite, a habit that he keeps to this very day. Despite being a member of the Freya Familia, he has been shown to help others, such as when he used an elixir on Mikoto after finding her gravely injured following her fight with Ishtar Familia. He also recognizes and respects those who are strong or accomplish a great feat, as well as those who demonstrate great resolve to become stronger, such as when he recognized Ais' tenacity to get stronger or when he praises Bell every time he overcomes a challenge. Although he is not particularly sociable, he is a very perceptive fighter regarding others in combat, capable to understand their thoughts and their resolution without exchanging a single word, realizing all this through the will that they transmit and show through their weapons when he faces them. His instincts as a warrior are so developed that even without a brilliant mind like Hedin's he had a presentiment of the Elf's plans and guessed his eventual betrayal correctly. When Ottar was a child, he was abandoned without even having known his own name. Freya found him dying in an alley somewhere and told him he was beautiful and took him into her Familia. She also gave him his name at this time. Due to her material support and emotional warmth, Freya would become everything to Ottar. He joined her Familia a few years later after he established a clear sense of self. Mia, at the request of Freya, was tasked to look after Ottar when he first joined. After obtaining his falna he waited for a year until finally immersing in the daily baptism on the fields of Folkvangr, where he was frequently crushed by the earlier members close to the brink of death, reaching Level 2 just a year later. Ottar clashed numerous times with the Zeus and Hera Familias before they were defeated by the One Eyed Black Dragon and were forced out of Orario. Each time ended in him being defeated. At the age of 17, while still a Level 5, Ottar became the vice-captain of his Familia and reached Level 6 soon after. During Orario's Dark Age, he became the Familia's captain after all the members who joined before him were gone. Seven years ago, he became Level 7 after defeating Zald during the Great Feud. At some point in the past, Ottar half-killed Balor, the Monster Rex of the 49th floor. Later, after learning of Ais defeating Udaeus by herself, he also defeated Udaeus by himself while managing to obtain Udaeus' sword.

Heith Velvet (ヘイズ・ヴェルヴェット) is a member of the Freya Familia. Heith has long light red (pink in the anime) hair tied in two ponytails. She is a beautiful girl but has dead-looking eyes due to being constantly exhausted from doing her work. She usually wears a red and white apron dress, which bears the Freya Familia emblem on her shoulder, and looks similar to a nurse outfit. She is also, at least, a bit taller and older than Bell. Heith usually looks exhausted and complains of having to constantly heal the other Familia members during their daily training. Despite her numerous complains, she takes her role very seriously and goes to great lengths to heal those under her care. Additionally, she dutifully carries out any orders Freya asks of her. She is also shown to be understanding of others as she showed compassion to Bell and did not restrict his movements. Though she doesn't understand Ottar's desire to become stronger, thinking he is strong enough as he is, and would often reprimand and question him for his indefatigable and sedulous will to get stronger. Heith has extreme loyalty towards Freya that doesn’t lose to Horn’s. She considered Horn as a friend and held jealousy towards her. She treats those who are against Freya as filth that would defile the goddess and won’t forgive anyone who betrays Freya. Heith originally also went through baptism with other fighters in Folksvangr, but eventually she saw her limit as a fighter. She then decided to leave the battlefield to become a healer, which she was discovered to be very talented at.

Allen Fromel (アレン・フローメル) is the vice-captain of the Freya Familia. Allen is small with blue eyes (yellow in the anime) and black hair, along with cat ears and a tail. Despite his size, he has a penetrating gaze, so intense that it frightens others, and his very presence seems violent, as if he could explode at any moment. His features are attractive but are not usually considered as such due to how dangerous he looks. Allen is only sparsely clad in armor. The little he uses is not designed to defend against attacks, out of the simple reason that he is the fastest in the city. His armor consists of a single silver shoulder protector covering his left shoulder. Extending from it is an emerald pelisse, a one-sided cloak. Additionally, he wears silver leg protectors covering his legs from his knee downwards. Allen is quite cocky and arrogant. He looks down upon everyone and is incredibly disrepectful when addressing them, be it ally or foe. He is also an extremely temperamental person, usually seeming like he is about to explode when annoyed, coupled with a constantly aggressive demeanor. Like the other members of the Freya Familia, Allen is extremely loyal to Freya. Because he wants Freya's love for himself, he is hostile towards the other members of his Familia, whom he sees as an obstacle and with whom he maintains a bad relationship of mutual hatred, as well as being jealous of Bell due to the attention he receives from Freya. Similarly, motivated by his devotion to his Goddess, he constantly seeks to strengthen himself so as to be worthy of her. He hates Freya's self-indulgent nature as he finds it quite problematic and has on occassions even suggested to keep her restrained in a specific place. Nonetheless, he has come to terms that said aspect is part of Freya's nature. As such, he believes denying her the chance to follow her desires and control her would make Freya lose what makes her who she is, and so prefers to remain annoyed than have it his way. He is also poison tongued, telling Ais to go die during the Loki Familia expedition. According to Syr, his tongue is sensitive to hot food, mentioning that he secretly blows on hot drinks to cool them down before drinking them. His height is implied to be a sensitive topic for him, regarding which he has a particularly violent reaction. Allen is the older brother of Anya Fromel, however, they have both cut all ties with each other. Despite his attitude towards her, calling her even the person he hates the most in the world, Freya pointed out that Allen still loves her, which was demonstrated when he saw her while under the effects of Seale's curse, which made the opponent see their most loved one. His harsh and abusive attitude was in truth an extreme way of protecting his sister, having chosen to hate her and push her away so that she wouldn't die like the rest of their family. Allen's goal is to kill the One-Eyed Black Dragon to avenge the death of his parents and ensure Anya's happiness, as he believes it won't be secured until the black monster is slain. He wanted to stay with Freya and remained devoted to his Goddess since he believed that by doing so he could become stronger, allowing him to fulfill his goal.

Hogni Ragnar (ヘグニ・ラグナール) is an executive of the Freya Familia. Before this, he was the king of the Dark Elves on the Hjaðningavíg island. Hogni has tanned skin, slightly gray green eyes and silver hair that could also look pale purple. He wears a black outfit with a black cloak. Hogni is extremely loyal to Freya and is willing to carry out any order. He is jealous of Bell because of the attention he receives from her. However, after training with Bell for a period of time, he began to respect him and be fond of his pupil due to the latter's kind personality. He is also shown to have chuunibyou tendencies based on the way he talks. He is known for having a troublesome personality, as he often acts cowardly in battle. Due to the constant pressure he suffered from his kingdom, he developed a great fear of the gaze of people, considering it the most terrifying thing in the world, as well as a love for the dark, as within it he cannot be seen by anyone. Consequently, Hogni ended up becoming an incredibly socially awkward person whose speech and demeanor only makes his already serious problem even worse. While his insecurity remains even when he is in combat, Hogni seems to find some pleasure in fighting challenging opponents. After witnessing Hedin's prowess in a clash between their kingdoms, he developed a fervent desire to face him in battle and defeat him.

Hedin Selland (ヘディン・セルランド) is an executive of the Freya Familia. Before this, he was the king of the White Elves on the Hjaðningavíg island. Hedin has white, almost translucent skin, golden hair that falls down his back and coral eyes. He wears a black battle tunic along with a white cape and a white belt, both with gold embroidery, and wears glasses. He is quite attractive and even the Gods admire him for it. Hedin is a calm individual with an analytical nature. He always thinks before acting and often has to regulate the other executives. He hates having to act as the voice of reason and classifies his teammates as fools for constantly jumping into action instead of thinking ahead. However, there are also situations where he would still prefer to follow his impulses, admitting that he would have liked to face Ottar rather than allow him to go face Udaeus. Hedin is extremely loyal to Freya and is willing to carry out any order. Because he wants Freya's love only for himself, he is hostile towards the other members of his Familia, whom he sees as an obstacle and with whom he maintains a bad relationship of mutual hatred. He is also jealous of Bell because of the attention he receives from her. Despite being loyal to Freya, he is still courteous to Riveria. He takes his assignments very seriously, and goes to great length to ensure he achieves the best results. Since Freya desires powerful warriors, Hedin ambitions to become the most powerful of her Familia. Consequently, he sees Ottar as a target to overcome and looks for ways to become even stronger. Hedin seems to take some pleasure in confronting skilled warriors and take pride in his abilities. After witnessing the display of Hogni's prowess in a clash between their kingdoms, the Dark Elf ended up being the only other existence he recognized apart from his own, wishing to face him in battle and defeat him. He hates incompetence and those who don't make an effort to improve. Likewise, he holds in esteem those who possess ability and strive to improve and surpass themselves. Beneath his composed facade, Hedin hides a much more aggressive side. He detests vile acts as well as offenses to his Goddess. Intolerant of such acts, he shows no mercy in dealing with the perpetrators and tends to explode against them, launching a torrent of curses at them. His way of speaking also changes, adopting a more rude pronoun in nature. As an Elf, he has great pride, which he showed when he refused to leave his kingdom because it would leave a stain on his record even though he was fed up with being its king. Likewise, he is a severe instructor. After putting him under his tutelage, he forced Bell to keep awake several nights, pressuring him to study relentlessly, and insulting him every time he made a mistake in addition to hitting or kicking him multiple times. Alfrigg (アルフリッグ), Dvalinn (ドヴァリン), Berling (ベーリング), and Grer (グレール) Gulliver(ガリバー), more commonly known as the Gulliver Brothers (ガリバー兄弟), are four executives of the Freya Familia. They are the reincarnations of Alf, Deval, Belin, and Gren respectively. The Gulliver Brothers wear sand colored armor along with full face helmets of the same color. They look the same and the only way to tell them apart is by the color of their eyes; Alfrigg's are light blue, Dvalinn's are yellow, Berling's are green, and Grer's are red. Along with their armor, the brothers each wear two long pieces of cloth, one attached to their breastplates and one on their backs, the colors of which match the color of each one's eyes. The Gulliver Brothers are extremely loyal to Freya and will carry out any order they receive. Because they want Freya's love only for themselves, they are hostile towards the rest of Freya Familia, whom they see as an obstacle and with whom they maintain a bad relationship of mutual hatred. They are also shown to be jealous of Bell because of the attention he receives from her. However, after training with him they have developed a bit of respect for him and consider Bell a warrior. Whenever they speak, they are able to relay their will to each other without hesitation, making it seem like someone is talking to themselves. They are shown to not like Finn that much, stating that they were better off teaming up with Gareth than the former. The brothers have always been very similar, even their personalities are very similar. However, Alfrigg always believed that his role as the older brother was to keep his siblings in line, so he grew up being more serious than his brothers. For that reason, Alfrigg often tries to keep his brothers in line and stop them when they start to get out of control. However, none of them recognize him as an authority figure and ignore him on every occasion. However, although they do not respect him, they feel an intense fear towards his angry side. Although he usually does not show it, Alfrigg becomes extremely aggressive once he is provoked enough and persists in assaulting the target of his anger even long after killing it. His anger lasts and is noticeably more intense than that of his brothers, who were frightened when they saw it for the first time. Because of this, the rest of the brothers are careful to never push him to his breaking point. Alfrigg likes the idea of other Pallums growing up as adventurers, expressing joy over Lili's rank up. He has also shown excellent intelligence and instinct typical of a first-class adventurer, able to make a correct assessment and judgment quickly even while in the middle of a battle. The brothers were amazed by Freya from the first time they saw her. They held her in very high esteem, creating a high-quality necklace for her with great enthusiasm and experiencing a homicidal rage upon learning that their Dwarf boss had stained her by sleeping with her. Since then they follow her devoutly, seeing her offering herself to the Dwarf as a sacrifice she made for them. Having never desired anything before, her love became the only thing they desire. Despite having been a long time ago and Freya's own words back then, the Gulliver brothers sorrowfully lamented such an event, vowing that they would never let anyone stain or hurt her again. Because of this, they wanted Freya to remain a Goddess instead of becoming a city girl, that is, to adopt her Syr alter ego as her true self, since they believed that if she remained a Goddess nothing could hurt her.

Syr (シル), currently known as Horn (ヘルン), is a member of the Freya Familia. Horn has grey hair. Her eye color was originally black, but when she received Freya's blessing and her magic Vana Seith, her right eye's color changed. Now it seems to be silver when one looks at it from certain angles and gray when looked at from others. Horn is extremely loyal to Freya. Thinking of herself as dirty and empty and of Freya as a beautiful and warm being, she developed a profound admiration for her ever since first meeting her, wishing to become her. She expressed great joy upon Freya granting her wish, easily giving up her name "Syr" to achieve this and, from then on, acted as her attendant. Horn dutifully carried out her orders and devoted herself to her Goddess. However, she wasn't just an obedient dependant and was even willing to act against Freya's desires if she thought it was for the better. Her extreme passion made Allen call her not an attendant, but a mere religious fanatic. As a result of frequently taking Freya's place whenever she took on her Syr Flova persona, therefore getting her memories and feelings, Horn started adopting more of the personality of her Goddess. She also came to believe she held a special place among Freya's followers as the only one who could know the Goddess' true feelings. Her view of Freya as a superior entity led to her developing a great hatred towards Bell Cranel, sensing how much he had changed Freya. She despised the idea of her Goddess being degraded to a mere girl, believing it would soil her. However, due to her shared connection, she also began to fall in love with him too, as Freya's feelings began to spill over into her. Nonetheless, her devotion prevailed as she resolved to personally kill him to end his influence in her. These contradictions resulted in Horn feeling simultaneous bitterness, adoration, jealousy, and love towards Bell. Following his capture, while not wanting to admit it to herself, she nevertheless started to also develop feelings of her own for the young adventurer for maintaining his self and his firm refusal to accept Freya while in her sandbox. After Freya's rejection by Bell, she decided to maintain her façade and deny her real self, represented by her Syr persona. Though she initially hated the idea of her succumbing to this side of hers, Horn started to oppose Freya's decision as she experienced firsthand the emotional turmoil her Goddess was undergoing due to their connection. She ultimately worked once again against her orders to help her by revealing her desire to be saved to Bell and later the Hostess of Fertility staff. Following the Great Faction War, she was shown happy with the outcome, Freya's decision to remain as Syr, and thanked Bell for saving them both. In spite of it, she still despises him extremely, proclaiming her dislike for him at the same time. Horn continues to antagonize and verbally denigrate him whenever he is brought up, such as when she engaged in a lengthy discussion with Laurier about him. Nonetheless, in reality, she is just as aggressively possessive as well, prompting some Gods to call her a yandere. Despite her tirade against Bell, she became very jealous when Laurier asked him to go on a date as they had promised when he saved her. She couldn't control her jealousy when Laurier took Bell's hand and attacked him with a knife. She also reacted similarly when she learned Bell was having a "date" with Eina. Upon finding out about it, she went crazy and took a knife from the Hostess of Fertility to go stab him for dating another woman. Although she prioritizes Freya over anything else, Horn differs from the rest of her familia in that she cares about others as well. During Ais' training with Ottar, she gave the young swordswoman a change of clothes and a towel to clean herself, being the only one to express any concern for her.
