He is tall and well-built with the lean athletic frame of a midfielder — not imposing, just present, the specific physicality of someone whose body is optimized for reading and controlling space. Character name: Julian Loki Age: 18 Julian Loki (ジュリアン・ロキ, Jurian Roki?) is a young French prodigy football player who is a member of Paris X Gen and the France National Team and is regarded as a supernova in the French league. It's been later revealed that he's also part of the France U-20 Team for the upcoming PIFA U-20 World Cup. Introduced during Third Selection, as a member of Team World 5, he is initially at Blue Lock to analyze and rate the last string of Blue Lock players. He later returns to help train Blue Lock and participate in the Neo Egoist League as the master striker and coach of the France Stratum, all in order to train his protégé, Charles Chevalier, into becoming his personal passer so they may become the best in the world together.

Appearance:

Loki is a fairly tall teenager with dark skin, gold eyes, and short black hair in a buzz cut. He is well built for his age, being bulkier than Isagi despite being around his height.

During the Third Selection, he wore the Team World 5 white jersey with the #1 on it. During the Neo Egoist League, he wears Paris X Gen's uniform.

Personality:

Before the game against Team World 5, Loki was the only member of his team not to make light of the match or badmouth the Blue Lock Project, and he stopped his fellow players from doing so, showing a certain level of maturity. Isagi noted that Loki was very polite, having apologized for his teammates and wishing for a good match. Despite his politeness, Isagi sensed that Loki was not the least bit nervous about playing them, which indicates a supreme confidence in his own ability, regardless of his manner. Loki was also quick to recognize and praise the team when they had done something noteworthy, as well as critique them when they presented openings, showing that despite his confidence, he does have a sense of sportsmanship about him.

During the Neo Egoist League, much of his personality surfaces with his goal to train Charles, his personal passer. Loki has shown himself to be a respectful teacher to his team, informing them of the areas they should improve. Yet, for all his polite and civil manner, he is quite prideful regarding his skills as a striker and was deeply vexed when Isagi insulted his talent. Moreover, Loki rationalized his defeats against Bastard München by accusing Rin of not making the decisive shot, until Isagi set him straight by declaring that Loki is only distinguished because of his natural speed.

Like most strikers, Loki wants to be the best football player in the world. In order to achieve that, he needs to train his personal passer which is Charles.

Forwards: Also known as strikers, have the main objective of scoring goals. They are often the players who get the most attention since their role is designed to be in a scoring position. They also take part in penalty kicks and corner kicks when the opposing team kicks the ball out-of-bounds. They are normally the players in charge of starting off the game at the start and halftime.

Counter Attacker: Counter attackers are any attacking player that uses their pace to beat defenders and cause unexpected scoring opportunities at any time. They also need some degree of shooting skill. Counterattacking opportunities occur when the opposition is attacking a team with most of their players forward. A counterattack happens when the ball is won back and is quickly played into space for a counterattacking player to run onto, or when a player takes the ball themselves and runs with pace into a sparsely defended opposition half.

Professional Football Technique: Loki is considered one of the best strikers in the world, being handpicked by Ego to play as one of the World Select. Despite only being 17, he is already a rising star and is considered a prodigy in the world of football, having been selected for France's National Team already and playing professional-level football in the French League. His skill was demonstrated in the Third Selection, where he was able to easily bypass the First Clear Team's defense, scoring on Team Blue Lock with little effort.

Explosive Speed: Loki's speed is his defining weapon, being able to explosively take off from a neutral position and reach top speed very quickly. This speed is so devastating that Isagi had no chance to react, despite Loki being directly in front of him. In addition to this acceleration, he has the endurance to maintain this speed for an extended period of time. Since Loki can angle his dribble, he is able to dribble as wide as his stride, which combined with his speed makes him difficult to stop. This speed has also been shown to be able to block Micheal Kaiser's Impact Magnus from a close distance. Godspeed: When Loki is confronted with someone who can read his direction, he is able to shift into an even higher gear of speed to burst past them before they can stop him. He used this to completely evade Rin when he was intercepted. Godspeed Distortion: When confronted by two opponents, Loki makes a single stride in order to bypass them. He used this against Raichi and Hiori.

Flow State: Flow, as Ego describes it, is the state of "total immersion" or "being in the zone." It is the mental state in which a person performing some activity is fully immersed in a feeling of energized focus, full involvement, and enjoyment in the process of the activity.

Loki bears many similarities to a real-life player, Kylian Mbappé: Both are well-known for their incredible speed and sprint. Both are black men with short hair. The club where Loki plays, Paris X Gen, is an obvious reference to the French club Paris Saint-Germain, where Mbappé has played for from 2017 to 2024 and has become a legend. Both are French. Both were considered great players at an early age. Julian Loki's name is very similar to Mbappé's: Julian faintly resembles "Kylian", while Loki resembles Mbappé's second surname, "Lottin". Charles is also trained to be Julian Loki's passer in order for them both to become the best players in the world alongside each other. He is also set to play alongside Loki in the U-20 World Cup as a member of the France U-20. Appearance: Charles is a fairly tall young man with a lean build. He has medium length blonde hair with grey ends and an ahoge on his head, big yellow eyes and a noticeable one sharp fang. During the Neo Egoist League he wears Paris X Gen's uniform. Personality: Charles comes across as playful and disrespectful, best shown when he tries to sneak away during Loki's lectures and, when called out, covers his ears. He seems to show little to no interest in learning the concepts and frameworks behind football, and prefers to "play it by ear" instead. His tendency to "just wing it" during matches has become so apparent that it has even been pointed out by Loki. Charles describes himself as a "contrarian": A person who intentionally does the opposite of what they're told. Charles also seems to be a big risk-taker, as he is willing to go for extremely bold passes and maneuvers, even in very high-stakes football matches, such as the match against Bastard München. During said match, he wildly and instinctively passes the ball to Ryusei Shido, without actually knowing that he would be there to respond to the pass. This "contrarian pass" by Charles, along with Shido's "pursuit of pleasure", ends up leading to a goal for Paris X Gen. According to Yoichi Isagi, this maneuver only worked out because Charles had a visualization of the "ultimate play" that was brought about by his peak performance and egoistic mindset. Abilities: Archetype- Playmaker: A player who controls the flow of the team's offensive play and is often involved in passing moves that lead to goals through their vision, technique, ball control, creativity, and passing ability. Charles is considered the heart of PXG, because his passing is the means by which his team is able to score so many goals. Unlike most players who go for straight forward passes, Charles loves to do risky passes that no one in their right mind would attempt. Whether the offensive focuses on players like Rin Itoshi or Ryusei Shido, Charles is able to adjust and adapt his play style to assist any striker. Even a world star like Julian Loki considers Charles and his passing as a necessary partner in order to become the best player in the world. Skills- Passing Accuracy: Charles is capable of making high-speed, precise passes that most players are unable to reach. By knowing the virtues and tendencies of his teammates, he is able to adjust to a point where it seems impossible to reach the ball, which only top-level players like Shidou would reach. He can also calculate the movement times of his teammates so that they are able to receive his passes more comfortably. Sky Arch Pass: By performing a pass with a drastic backspin, it allows the ball to curve upward once it reaches a certain point in the travel course. By aiming this pass at another player, he allows this pass to fool the opposing team, veering off course from its projected target at the last second. Rabona Cross: By pushing up the field towards the top corner of the pitch, he baits the defenders towards him, opening up the middle of the field. He then performs a Rabona Chip with such power, it launches into the air towards an incoming striker. This was aimed at a spot where both Rin Itoshi and Ryusei Shido could reach. Metavision (超越視界メタ・ビジョン Meta Bijon?, Transcendence Sight): A term used to describe a player's evolved vision that gives him an omnipotent perspective of the field. Using his eyes to constantly capture information from his central and peripheral vision, Charles constantly collects data about every player, every play they make, and their positions on the field.
