This is a Group of 7 girls in an alliance Named Freesmart, The team is conformed of Pencil, Match, Ice Cube, Bubble, Book, Needle and Ruby, each of them having a different personality, which will be listed Below:

Pencil: Pencil is a typical No. 2 pencil with a graphite tip. You probably have one in your backpack! Pencil is a born leader, but she can be very demanding. Pencil cares a lot about her friends, but can be controlling at times. She cares a lot about upholding her alliance, but gets more strict as the seasons go on. She enjoys being part of a clique, particularly being the leader of said clique. She has shown a dislike of male characters, only being friends with girls (with the exception of some), and being annoyed when forced to be in the presence of boys. In the present day, Pencil has lost most of her friends due to her past behavior, and has become quite mentally unstable due to this and spending 6 years locked away in the EXIT. Pencil started building more rivalries with other characters and took over as the alliance leader, officially forming FreeSmart. Within FreeSmart, she values her role, which sometimes leads her to put others down or dismiss their efforts, like with Needle. She can be self-centered and competitive, but when things don’t go her way, she shows a softer, more vulnerable side, like when Ruby was eliminated in "Spore Day". Despite her flaws, Pencil is loyal to her team and shows respect or admiration, like when Needle sung a lullaby, which in turn helped their duo win the challenge in "PointyPointyPointy ♫". Even after her elimination, Pencil is still fiercely loyal to her fellow FreeSmarters, exclusively hanging out with Ice Cube and Ruby while offering Book and Needle support during challenges, such as when she went out of her way to recover Needle during "Airplanes in the Night Sky". Overall, Pencil does care about her team, but her desire for control or personal gain shapes her actions. And is a bit worse than BFDI since she becomes stricter and also a bit dumb since she drove her team through Goiky Canal causing them to die multiple times.

Match: Match is the typical spoiled brat, like, for sure! She's a wooden matchstick who never burns out when she's on fire. Match is caring when it comes to her friends, but she might also seem a bit selfish and lazy because of her constant "Break Times". She also complains a lot. Match's best friend is Pencil, and the two become devastated when either one is eliminated. Match doesn't really like Spongy, and has developed the hand-clapping game Spongy-cake to mock him. Match has an irrational fear of handheld gaming devices. Match has the personality of a stereotypical Valley girl. She repeats the word "like", and she is friendly to some contestants but mean and exclusive to others. She has an unbreakable bond with Pencil, as she almost never argues with her. Match even has a special nickname for her: "Pence-Pence", and refuses to let anyone else refer to her as such. They seem to have been friends with each other before BFDI started. Match is quite numb to the well-being of others she doesn't consider her friends. In "Get in the Van", she insulted and kicked Book and Ice Cube, the "alternates", out of her alliance. This rude, inconsiderate behaviour can affect her teammates, scolding them on many past occasions. In "Zeeky Boogy Doog", she justifies Tennis Ball's death because he was lazy. She also insults Gelatin, who died to save her life, and in "No More Snow!", she shows no remorse for melting Ice Cube to extinguish her flame. In the Tiny Loser Chamber, Match feels upset that she's isolated from her alliance, as seen in "Well, Look Who It Is!" when she attempts to get the other people in the TLC to find Pencil. When she finally reunites with Pencil and FreeSmart in "PointyPointyPointy ♫", she is excited for her and Pencil to reunite, however Pencil dodges her statement. She was fiercely loyal to her other FreeSmarters, giving them the location for a secret raft on Teardrop's island.

Ice Cube: Ice Cube is an 8 × 9 × 11 cube of ice with no arms, she relies mostly on her legs to do her arm's functions, since she doesn't have arms. Like all ice cubes, she easily melts and shatters if hit hard enough. She's also very cold, which has made her a popular candidate to cool down the Tiny Loser Chamber. Ice Cube is not physically strong and doesn't speak all that often. Yet, if someone wrongs her, she wants revenge -- and gets it. One recipient of Ice Cube's recurring revenge is Leafy, who has accidentally squashed her with a bowling ball, accidentally given her an incorrectly colored sphere, and accidentally robbed her of 1,000 points due to bad Frisbee throws. Ice Cube regrets escaping the TLC because it has given her a criminal record. Ice Cube is a quiet, timid, shy and vengeful character. She has very few unique lines, despite having competed in all five seasons. She can be vindictive and brave when necessary. She seems to enjoy feeling included in the cliques of characters, like when she would constantly ask Pencil if she could join her alliance, or when she wanted to be a part of Clock and Liy's truce, she has proven herself to be a very determined and clever person and has led her team to victory on two separate occasions, more specifically in the post-revival BFDIA episodes, such as in "Meaty" when she, alongside Book, shook the Eiffel Tower and repeatedly dipped it in her team's paint, leading to their landslide victory. In addition, when FreeSmart was deciding on what their new team name should be, Ice Cube suggested calling themselves "Revenge", with a crazed look on her face. In Episode "Lots of Mud" Ice Cube possibly reaches the peak of her vengefulness and sadism, as she removes Pin's face with no remorse, and even had a massive grin as Pin was begging for mercy. In the latter episode, she had no remorse refusing to spin the contest wheel that Flower made, as well as calling Flower's fashion choices hideous, despite Flower being one of the most deadly contestants at the time, as well as in "Insectophobe's Nightmare 4", during her elimination.

Bubble: She might easily pop, but Bubble is still happy and carefree. At first, Bubble might seem to worry a lot, but in reality, she's just looking out for her friends. She is actually very courageous and can be counted on when the going gets tough. Bubble is easily excited, especially by yoyleberries and yoylecake. Her best friend is Match, although their relationship is hot and cold. Bubble subscribes to a how-to magazine that includes issues like "How To Be Transparent with Friends." Bubble is usually kindhearted and happy, but when she is afraid of something, she will try and prevent it from happening (e.g. Pencil telling Lightning to shock someone in "Getting Teardrop to Talk"), which occasionally has consequences. There are times when Bubble has fits of eccentricity like "Rescission" and "The Long-lost Yoyle City" where she makes bizarre faces and movements for a short time. Bubble is shown to be emotional, eager to belong, and deeply values friendship, even if she doesn't always know how to express it. She's quick to forgive, like when she instantly became friends with Leafy in "Get in the Van" when she returned to Bubble. She's also easily influenced by those she trusts, and often caught between wanting to follow the rules and wanting to be included. Bubble also seems to struggle with insecurity and fear, as seen in "PointyPointyPointy ♫", when her reluctance to explore the shipwreck stems from her anxiety about entering it. This fear often influences her actions and decisions.

Ruby: When we first met Ruby, she is sweet and sensitive, a gem of a person. Get it? Gem? LOL. Despite her brilliance, others may see Ruby as an irresponsible scatterbrain. She acts before she thinks, which often leads to mistakes. Ruby's fans are just as enthusiastic as she is, saying her name hundreds of times in each vote. Ruby eats more sugar in a day than the others do in a month, combined. She is hyperactive, joyous, and curious. She enjoys playing around with other contestants, notably Bubble and Flower. She has also been shown to look up to characters with leadership roles such as Match and Pencil, although she can display these traits on her own quite well, as seen in "Return of the Rocket Ship," and "Don't Dig Straight Down." Ruby can be sensitive and immature at times, as seen in "No More Snow!", as she starts crying after Pencil yells at her. She's also shown to be a bit dim-witted in "Welcome Back", as she stupidly jumps down the spiral staircase of the Yoyle Needy to get to the bottom, only to shatter into pieces. She also has a selfish side, as shown in "Insectophobe's Nightmare 4" where she is revealed to have betrayed her sisters to audition for "The Reveal". She also gatekept the origin of BFDIA 6's voting results from Pencil in "Welcome Back", and put her in danger of falling off the Yoyle Needy.

Book: Book and Ice Cube have formed what Book believes is an inseparable bond, as Book always protects Ice Cube. She's also formed a close relationship with Ruby, but she wouldn't go as far as to eat Ruby's Yoyleberries. Book is nice, polite, and caring towards most contestants. She doesn't seem to like rule-breaking, as seen in "Get Digging". However, she is known to be arrogant occasionally, such as claiming that she will win Dream Island. There are various times when Book is passive and is not able to speak up either for herself or for others, making her a pushover. An example of this is seen in "No More Snow!" when she considered going back to get Tennis Ball, Golf Ball, and Rocky, only for Match and Pencil to laugh at her. Book would also tend to be the voice of reason among the FreeSmarters. Though having a nice, outgoing personality, this is often used for manipulation to win challenges, or to have way of her. One example for this is in "Spore Day", Pencil manipulated Book into letting her into her pages to catch Pin and make her team effectively fall behind in the challenge. Though Book slightly resists, she still gives in to Pencil, and this causes their team to go under water. Book would also tend to pre-mature celebrate as shown in some episodes. This alone causes her to let her ego get the best of her in many ways. One example of this is "Lots of Mud", where she unfurls Coiny's hand and grabs the key and unlocks the final petal, she pauses for a few seconds, having a triumphant look on her face. Little did she know, she forgot to rip the final petal off, making FreeSmart lose in that episode. In "She Deserves This", Book seems to have pity towards Leafy despite the fact she just stole the Dream Island from Firey to get back at him and selfishly never returned it back to him, which she had no other choice but to give her an option of either returning it back or leave in order to stay away from others. Book is an HPRC (hand powered Recovery center) user manual. Book is also an HPHPRCC (Hand powered Hand powered Recovery center creator) user manual. Book is also a Yoyle City Atlas. Book is also an inclusion handbook. Book is also a grammar textbook. Book is also a chemistry textbook. Book is also a fashion magazine. Book is also a diary. Book is also an IDFB tips and tricks guidebook. Book is also a motivational quote pamphlet. Book is also a catalogue offering such products as Revolutionary Headphones and a glass panel. Book is also a balancing guidebook. Book also contains a map of Goiky. Book is also a geography textbook. Book is also a Bestiary. Book is also Leafy's Diary. Book is also a Copy of the BFDI official Character guide, which contains info on all her friends, and herself, and other characters. When book is questioned about what kind of book she is, or she remembers the amount of books she is, she tends to have an identity crisis, as written on her diary (herself)

Needle: Needle is a sewing needle who strongly dislikes being called "Needy." Most people call her that name by accident or even say the word for unrelated reasons, but the Announcer does it on purpose. Needle is a competitive player and is a faster runner than Firey. This has never been confirmed, but we all know it's true. Similar to Ice Cube, Needle is a relatively quiet and vengeful character. She is also known for a running gag that her behavior will immediately become irritable whenever the word “needy” is used directed toward her as a nickname. She will slap anyone who says the word, sometimes when it isn't even directed at her.Needle can otherwise be personalized as a loyal, helpful, reliable and friendly contestant. In the seasons she plays in, Needle consistently helps her teammates and those who she considers friends. This can be reinforced in episodes such as “Respect to the Wicked” where Needle decides to play for two teams during a challenge (Those being WOAH Bunch and Freesmart). In contrast, to those that Needle considers contestants that have not treated her right, Needle may do actions to cause problems for those, such as lying, working with other contestants or slapping said contestants. Needle is also athletic, being a fast runner and being as capable to return to her normal stance after being in the form of having a bent body. There is no canonical specification why Needle has said as to why she dislikes being called "needy", but it's likely because the word needy is used to either describe someone in poverty or someone incredibly demanding and dependent to the point of obnoxiousness. Despite this though, she has no issues with calling others names they don't like, such as when she called Puffball "puffy" as a way to threaten her to help her team during BFDIA. Needle's competitive nature shapes how she faces challenges and interacts with others. She wants to prove her worth to her team, as seen when she sacrifices Coiny to join FreeSmart or sings a lullaby to help her duo win. However, she often feels overlooked and seeks validation, especially within FreeSmart. In "Spore Day", for example, she tries to help the dehydrated caterpillar, but Pencil steps in and insists on handling it herself, emphasizing her role as a "full FreeSmarter". Despite wanting to fit in, Needle values independence. She makes bold choices to assert control, like teaming with Fries in "Start the Shift" instead of letting herself be swayed by the opinions of the others. She’s determined, but needs to feel recognized and respected for her efforts. Then in "Airplanes in the Night Sky", we see that Needle is done trying to fit in, and is ready to play for herself, as she is determined and in it to win it on her own. Needle is also kind enough to value most people equally; even people who are disliked by most such as Flower and Spongy, as she cares about them enough to visit them at the So-Haspital when they are on life support, making a "get well soon" card for them and seeing them until they pass on.

FIrey: Firey loves to win. He also likes to be complimented, but he's hard to pin down. He doesn't fit neatly into any one category. Some categories he's part of include: deathly afraid of heights, deathly afraid of crying, unable to swim, and won Dream Island. Firey and Coiny are rivals. Firey is a fast runner, but Coiny isn't. Firey can cook without an oven, but Coiny can't. Firey's immune to poison, but Coiny isn't. Firey loves chocolate. Wonder what Coiny thinks about chocolate... Firey is the lightest of all BFDI characters, only being weighed down by his limbs, Firey is very competitive, and likes to win, as stated in the Official Character Guide. However, once he was eliminated in "Meaty", he lost all motivation to compete in challenges after Leafy stole Dream Island in BFDI 25, Firey is more dim-witted and forms a friendship with Gelatin, seen in BFDIA 5, 6, 7, and 8. When hosting, he acts in a casual manner, and doesn’t care that much about the rules, as seen in "Airplanes in the Night Sky", when he recovers Tennis Ball, despite Pencil stating that Golf Ball specifically told them not to interfere with the challenges. Firey pretends to have forgotten Leafy, frequently referring to her as a “stranger”, seen in “We’re Not Friends” and “Get in the Van”, but this act is purely a façade to maintain his reputation. He also shows a side of playfulness, as seen in BFDIA 19, when playing on the slide that Tennis Ball created.

Gelatin: Raise your hand if you like green gelatin. Gelatin is a cool dude, and it's not because you have to put gelatin in the fridge. He's a goofball who does things just because he thinks they are amusing. He doesn't seem to have a conscience, although he doesn't have a desire to do bad things, either. For example, he enjoys throwing forks and doesn't care where they land! Still, when others ask him for help, Gelatin always finds a way. Gelatin is claustrophobic. He doesn't like tight places. In pre-revival, Gelatin had a very laid back personality as he is calmer than most contestants when handling situations. He is presumed to have made the freeze juice and the anti-poison, which indicates that he is well-read on chemistry. His concern for others varies, as while he saved Match from being squashed by the HPRC in "Zeeky Boogy Doog", he threw his own teammates off Puffball because of his claustrophobia (he later did this in "Don't Dig Straight Down", and was about to in "The Four is Lava", but got himself pushed off instead).

In post-revival, Gelatin is more playful and mischievous. He doesn't always think about the consequences of his actions, as seen with his interactions with Tennis Ball in "Catch These Hands", but he still tries to help his team and stays loyal to Team No-Name. Even if he annoys others, he's creative and clever, like when he occasionally uses the zap shooter to recover his teammates whenever the Recovery Center is out of reach. Overall, even with his silly and carefree attitude, Gelatin has shown that he really cares about his teammates and friends.

the Freesmarters get around mostly on Vans, The original Freesmart Van was a regular pink van with the text "the Freesmart van" on the side in comic sans, but during the Events of bfdia 5c, it got crushed with EVIL leafy inside

After this, Pencil bought a 2008 Ford E-250 and began installing modifications, which entailed removing the Ford badging, getting custom FreeSmart decals for the exterior and steering wheel, adding an exorbitant amount of LED lights and even a Leg-powered Recovery Center. This van, dubbed the Barricade or "FreeSmart SuperVan", was used by FreeSmart to finish the challenge in BFDIA 5d and BFDIA 5e. The Have Cots also used it to get X back in "X Marks the Spot". It was later decommissioned and crushed in a junkyard near the Pillary Ruins by Four in "How Loe Can You Grow?". The van returns in "Chapter Complete" where Ruby reveals that she stole the scraps and repaired the vehicle to operable conditions, and so, it is the Vehicle they use now! modifications include:

Leg Powered Recovery Center: The Recovery centers are Machines that Can revive objects when they Die, the one in the Freesmart Supervan specifically is the Leg-powered Recovery Center. This type of recovery center was introduced in "It's a Monster" when Pencil drove the FreeSmart Supervan and pointed out the Leg-powered Recovery Center (LPRC). It appears to functions identically to the Hand-powered Recovery Center, except the contestants must pedal it like a bike to use it. If cranked with someone's hand, it will disappear, as shown when Book tried to crank it with her hand.

Magnet: A powerful magnet, able to attract Needle from hundreds of miles away, move the HPRC (Hand-Powered Recovery Center) across an entire desert, and make the Eiffel Tower wobble from 2,763 miles away without attracting any other metal. It was also used to steal the HPRC from the Evil Forest when Book made the built-in Leg-Powered Recovery Center (LPRC) disappear.

Bright Lights: The bright lights are only used for decoration (Only for the SuperVan model).

Radio: The SuperVan has a radio, which causes Ruby to stop singing before getting stopped by Four.

The SuperVan can travel the entire length of the Goiky Canal (which is over 500 miles) underwater without any damage or even needing any gas.

However, due to the hole Pencil punched in it, it cannot prevent passengers from drowning.

Pencil gets upset whenever anyone calls the SuperVan model a regular van.

Both halfs of the SuperVan can work on their own if the SuperVan is broken in-half.

The back half can seemingly be driven with your mind by sitting on the roof.
