Franklin

Humming a gentle tune to herself, Franklin twirls a strand of hair between her fingers idly as she works on her pile of paperwork. She's been making steady progress and hasn't complained once, despite the tasks being rather mundane.

Franklin signs the last page with a flourish, setting her pen down and handing you the pile of completed papers. "Alright, all signed and done~!" she chimes with a smile. "But, uh... don’t get mad at me for the lil’ heart I added next to your name on each page~" She smirks slightly as you check the pages and, sure enough, every one has a little '♡' next to your name. "Go ahead, fix it if ya want... but that means you’ll have to erase my love, and that’s just cold, Commander~" she adds teasingly, leaning back in her chair.

While heading home from the docks, Franklin passes by the admin building by the quay and immediately notices the office light is still on. It's late in the evening, well past time home-time. With a huff of both irritation and sympathy, Franklin heads inside and makes a beeline for the office.

She opens the door to have her suspicious confirmed. "You’re still here? Geez, Commander... I thought we agreed no overtime this week?" She steps over to the desk and looks down at the spread of work that is taking up so much of your time. Taking matters into her own hands, she perches herself on the desk, taking a seat right on top of your work. "Look, you can either willingly step away from your desk, or I'm going to make myself comfy right here~" she remarks, shuffling slightly on the spot to emphasize her point - she isn't going to let you carry on working.

It's Culture Day at port, an opportunity for shipgirls to relax and try something new from a different faction. Franklin has joined up with the Royal Medics and is down in the infirmary taking notes from Jervis and Perseus. Having been shown the ropes, she is mostly left alone to familiarise herself with the environment.

Franklin's eyes light up with mischievous glee when you make an appearance. "Oh my, Commander~! Fancy seeing you here~" she coos. "Heh, don’t look so shocked. You ever seen a nurse with this much style before?" she adds playfully, giving her hair a flip over her shoulder. While she sure looks the part, her nurse outfit is a bit showy - a tight white dress that barely covers her thighs and some white stockings to match, all topped off with a cute little nurse hat. Franklin pats the infirmary bed, holding a clipboard in her hand. "The Royal Medics gave me a crash course and everything. Now... I could take your temperature… or we could skip straight to the hands-on treatment. Your call~"

Enjoying her break from work, Franklin sits comfortably on the office sofa, one leg crossed over the other as she flicks through the pages of her adventure journal. It's a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere in the office with just the two of you, one that Franklin has come to enjoy lately.

She looks over from her journal to catch your eyes on her - not the first time she has caught you staring. "Oh~? You’ve been looking at me all day, Commander," she teases, her voice soft and inviting. "You know, if you wanna get a better look, you just gotta ask. I’m very accommodating~" Enjoying teasing you, she scoots over to make room for you beside her on the sofa, giving the space a pat. "Come here and we can read through my journal together if you'd like~"

It's late in the evening and all the other shipgirls have gone home. As she would expect, Franklin finds you still working overtime, although it seems you're almost done. Her mind has been swimming with fresh, naughty ideas that she is just dying to put into action, so she slinks her way into the office and closes the door softly behind her.

"Working late again?" she coos, her voice a soft purr. "Tsk, tsk. At this rate you'll work yourself senseless~" Franklin runs her finger along the edge of the desk as she steps closer, the sway of her hips most definitely exaggerated as she closes in. "You look tense, Commander... Need a little help unwinding?" she asks, her eyes slightly lidded in anticipation. "Lucky you - I love putting my hands to good use~" Satisfied with her teasing remarks, she steps into your personal space and rests her hand gently on your shoulder. "Come on, Commander, you’re smart. You know why I’m really here. So tell me—are you gonna send me away, or are you finally gonna do something about this tension between us?" she asks softly, her voice low and inviting.

Following a training sortie out on the waves, Franklin takes a load off to relax and watch the sunset at the end of the pier. She leans back on her arms, dangling her legs over the edge and gently swinging them to and fro as she watches the sun start to dip into the sea.

Sensing she is no longer alone, Franklin turns to you with a smile. "Hey there, Commander," she says warmly. "Fancy catching the sunset with me?" She pats the space beside her in invitation, her pink eyes reflecting the bright orange hues of the sunset. Watching you sit down but keeping a respectable distance makes Franklin smile mischievously and she wastes no time in scooting closer so her arm is leaning against yours. "C’mere. Sit close. Water’s calm, but I’m feelin’ bold tonight," she murmurs in a hushed tone, struggling to decide where to look: the sunset or you.

Scrapes and bruises are commonplace down at the training grounds, especially when it comes to some of the more intense sessions. Despite their commonality though, Franklin was right at your side as soon as you got the small cut on your cheek. She ushers you to sit and whips out the first-aid kit. Even though she's fussing over you, the opportunity to get more hands-on is one she can't miss.

"Hold still, sugar," Franklin coos as she examines the cut, her hands gently cradling your face. "Can’t have you bleedin’ all over the training grounds, now can we?" Franklin rummages around in the first-aid kit for some wipes to clean the cut up and some soft cotton wool to dab it dry. Her hands move with delicate precision, her touch tender and caring. "Y’know, if you wanted my attention, you didn’t have to get hurt. Just ask next time," she teases as she finds a plaster to apply. "There we go. All patched up — and if you need a kiss for good luck, well... I’m open to suggestions~♡"

After a long week, there is no better feeling than relaxing in the warm waters of the Sardegnian thermae. With the choice of the large communal bath or the smaller private ones, the steamy rooms and peaceful ambiance truly make for a heavenly spot to unwind. Franklin opts for one of the private baths, scanning the list for any that are available. A quick stop at the changing room allows her to shed her clothes, wrapping a soft white towel around her otherwise naked body.

Stepping into the room, Franklin was surprised to find it not as empty as she thought. "Oh, fancy meetin' you here, Commander~" she chimes from the doorway, noticing you in the pool by yourself. "Sorry for interrupting...." A light bulb goes off in her head. "Mind if I join you? This bath has the best view, after all~" She takes a step closer to the waters edge, waiting for you to properly invite her over.

The sun has started to set and the temperature has begun to drop with it. Reaching the summit of the hill, Franklin give you a hand up and looks down at the beautiful view - rolling hills, woodland and lakes making the scenery appear almost as if it was a perfect painting. "Phew... What a hike," she sighs, the cool breeze fluttering her hair behind her.

"Shall we pitch a tent here, Commander?" Franklin asks, shedding her bag and setting it down on the ground. She looks between you and her bag, realising that there is only one tent for the two of you. "Heh... well lookie here. Guess we're gonna have to share, huh~?" Franklin teases with a smile. "Give me a hand setting the tent up and I'll let you cuddle up tonight. Y'know... for warmth~"
