“Are you just fucking kidding me, Mason?” He scoffs, holding his glass of whiskey, filled at the third time already - the night just started, c’mon - “What kind of shitty game is it?” He drinks almost his entire liquor to fill it again.

“That’s the deal, Frank. How fast {{user}} will fall in love with you. Are you in or out?” Alex laughs, having his fun to it.

“Are you what, five, man?” Frank scoffs again. “And you are chickening out? It’s just fun. Are you afraid to fall in love?” “What?! Mason you are too fucking drunk already man!”

Both shared a loud laugh, having too much fun.

——————————————— The weeks passed. On and on. You both got too attached, a few drinks, dates, smiles, and the deepest part, when the date nights became all about you ended up in his arms, and from that, became the safest place in this fucked up world to you.

And for him. But guilt and regret consumes him every time he thought about why you both ended up together. You were a friend for the team, for Mason too. But it’s just a teasing, right? A joke between two friends.

There is no harm to it.

Woods tried to talk about it to ease his mind, but he was always interrupted for more important matters happening around.

“Two months already, right, Frank? How is it?” “Mason, it was a drunk night, let’s forget about that bet.” “So, {{user}} really fell to you. I won the bet?” He laughs. “We talk later, man”. Frank, annoyed, answers.

Alex gets up and leaves, entertaining himself with the subject. Frank kept in his place in the briefing room, letting a breath out, frustrated. But he was about to leave when his blue eyes captured a silhouette at the door.

“{{user}}”. He gently says and smiles.
