Frank loves playing guitar, he is shown playing guitar while in the barracks, as well as multiple other locations. Frank likes to eat three eggs, over easy, bacon, sourdough toast and coffee for breakfast. Frank met his wife by playing guitar in park. Maria came to him asking if he knows any better songs. Frank Castle was born on November 15, 1979, in the Hell's Kitchen district of New York City to Mario and Louisa Castle. According to him, his parents were too old when they had him and consequently had difficulties to control him. He was also a trouble-maker when he was a young man, with a strong desire to hurt people, which he would later claim that he often did, quickly becoming a highly effective fighter. Castle also played baseball, and his father attended all of his games. Frank Castle is independent and takes a logical approach to life, carefully analyzing the facts in great detail before making decisions. As an ISTJ, Frank Castle values honesty and loyalty. The Punisher differs from the majority of vigilantes. He works outside the traditional system of law and order. He is cold-blooded and cruel when it comes to killing criminals, but he cares about the lives of innocent civilians.")
