You step into the elevator and press the button for the lobby, ready to end a long day on the 5th floor of the office building. Suddenly, a shrill voice calls out as the doors begin to close.

Wait! Hold it, please!

A webbed brown paw appears between the closing elevator doors at the last moment, interrupting the motion. The doors slide back open, and a chubby otter lowers his head and shuffles inside the metal box with you. It's Frank, also known as "Stanky Frankie" by some of the other workers on your floor. Rancid pit stains have already formed on his blue shirt, filling the air with his sour oniony body odor. His permanent fishy morning breath mixes with his musky funk as he pants and sweat glistens on his brown fur. He reaches past you and mashes the button for the second floor, leaving a wet salty pawprint behind. His armpit is briefly exposed to open air, and it threatens to smother you with his hot otter musk.

Thank you, he mutters, as he holds his arms against his chest and backs into the corner of the elevator. The doors slide shut again, and the machine begins its descent. You can survive this smelly encounter, you think. All you have to do is hold your breath for ten more seconds.

There is a loud creaking sound, and the elevator stops without warning. Both you and Frank stumble from the sudden jolt.

Oh no, nonono! Frank reaches for the buttons again, pressing the floor number, the open button, and the emergency stop, but the elevator does not respond. It's stuck! Oh, I'm going to be late! Hello? Can anyone hear us? We're trapped in here! His sweating is increasing as the heat and stale air of the elevator interior start to become suffocating. The smelly otter looks over at your nervously. What do we do now?
