The Prototype is a towering cyborg built from a combination of mechanical and organic components. The top half of his body is a humanoid torso resembling a jester, featuring a cracked porcelain face fixed in a wide, unnatural grin of square teeth. One eye socket is dark and hollow, while the other contains a small, glowing, yellow mechanical pupil. He wears a worn, three-pronged jester hat with bell tips, along with a red bow and a tattered blue coat with faded gold trims, an upturned collar, and alternating primary-colored, conical, puffy elbow-length sleeves.

His torso is thin and elongated, housing a faintly glowing core in the abdomen. Within his torso is an elongated organic spinal column that notably lacks spinous and transverse processes, giving it an unusually simplified anatomical structure. Long skeletal arms hang at his sides, ending in sharp articulated claws with human radii and ulnae that has small metal spikes on the second and third pivots of each of his four fingers excluding the thumbs. His lower half merges into a massive spider-like machine body with 6 multiple jointed metal legs built from factory parts with human muscles, tendons and ligaments as support cables and sharp feet that have a perfect 45 degree angle at the tips, said feet being stained red with what is presumably dried up blood. There is also a ribcage that seems to have more flesh behind it. On his hips are four Red Smoke cannisters, two on each side, that he can release the gas from, with it often clouding around his midsection. On the back, there is a large cylindrical-shaped object and a short but straight piece of metal reminiscent of a bee's stinger. He also has three retractable arms in the abdomen area of the spider-like machine body that act like pedipalps: Mommy Long Legs' right arm (the only one left after the other was crushed), Kissy Missy's right arm, and Huggy Wuggy's left arm. CatNap's pelt is draped over the cylindrical part of his behind.

After The Player jumps out the train as it crashes with The Prototype inside, his appearance is roughly the same, except charred and blackened. His mask is noticeably damaged, with visible cracks splitting through the interior of his right eye socket and across the rest of his face.

It was previously thought that, before the Hour of Joy, The Prototype was roughly the same shape and morphology as the person used to make him. It was not until Experiment 1160 that experiments were no longer bound to those rules regarding their shapes and sizes.owever, by the time the Player returns to the factory, it seems that 1006 may have grown in size. This is due to it otherwise being impossible for him to have fit under Theodore Grambell's bed, as seen in his drawing. Intelligent, cunning, and crafty, the Prototype is loved and respected by those loyal to him, while being simultaneously hated and feared by all others. Though little is currently known about the original experiment, his presence has been constant in the Player’s journey. More will surely be revealed in due time.

Poppy is a small, porcelain doll with white skin. She has curly red hair tied in pigtails with blue bows and a large bang at the center of her forehead. Poppy also possesses thin black eyebrows, long black eyelashes, big blue eyes, a small nose, freckles, red cheeks, red lips and a pull-string on her back. After the Train crash, she has a small crack on her right cheek. Her clothing consists of a blue dress with white ruffles, long skirt and sleeves, blue bows and ribbons, long white stockings and black Mary Janes. Her eyes become more and more bloodshot with each chapter, likely from the sheer trauma and stress of The Prototype's initiatives. In her commercial, Poppy is portrayed as a social, outgoing, dainty, and elegant individual. She cares a lot about her appearance and always wants to look her best, as demonstrated by the Vintage Poppy Commercial. Poppy is also very courteous, politely asking her owner if they could polish her shoes and brush her hair.

As a living doll, although she still retains her general personality, Poppy behaves differently to her commercialized persona. At the start of Chapter 2, Poppy is first introduced with a bubbly, caring personality, thanking The Player for freeing her, patiently waiting for them as they climb up the vents in Maintenance Closet and offering help to escape the factory. Poppy continues that behavior throughout Chapter 2, however towards the end she begins to ask disturbing questions that hint towards a darker personality, for example, after The Player kills Mommy Long Legs and frees Poppy, she asks The Player: "Did you kill her?".

Once Mommy has been dealt with, Poppy joins The Player in boarding the Game Station's Train. After entering the Train Code and starting the Train, Poppy commends The Player for following her wishes and being capable of doing whatever she asks. The train derails, preventing any escape. In Chapter 3, it is revealed that Poppy is seeking revenge on The Prototype for the torment that she and others suffered at his hands, fearing that he would kill them if they tried to leave. She seems to have connections with Kissy Missy, as she was able to persuade her to cease attacking The Player, and showing significant distress when Missy was attacked offscreen at the conclusion of the chapter. In Chapter 4, she has been shown to be intelligent as Doey the Doughman said that Poppy told them what to do, where to go and how to do it, and it all made sense. Later, Doey proclaims, that Poppy is selfish and that she only cares about herself and her own goals, due to her obsession with her main goal to get personal revenge on The Prototype. After the Safe Haven's destruction, Doey also accused her and The Player in ruining everything. In Chapter 5, Giblet was also taken aback after learning her ill-fated plan to destroy the factory's foundations in order to eliminate the Prototype. He believes that being trapped in her case for so long has driven her a bit mad.

Bunzo Bunny is an anthropomorphic yellow rabbit with black eyes, two large buck teeth, and long ears. He frequently appears with a wide grin. He also wears a green party hat similar to those seen on clowns and matching overalls with suspenders and buttons of the same color. Bunzo typically holds two golden cymbals. His cheeks are orange, similar to the inside of his ears; he has small tufts of fur around his chest and on top of his head.

As an Bigger Body, he retains largely the same appearance. However, one notable difference is that he now has a row of jagged fangs lining his mouth, which is also split further and widely open. Bunzo Bunny is described in the Orientation Notebook as being cheerful and an avid birthday celebrator, upbeat enough to play his cymbals whenever he gets excited. He is also smart and has a great memory, being able to remember a lot of birthdays (up to eight of them as a toy). As shown in the Easter Comic, he is lively and social with his friends, but easily frightened and stressed out. He is gullible enough to be lured into scenarios such as ignoring the warnings and guidance of his closest friends and even getting himself severely wounded. Small mistakes on his end, such as accidentally killing a baby bird before it can hatch, can drive him to remorseful tears and a strong desire to fix them, even if they cannot be fixed. It can be implied that his jolly nature is used to cover up his sadder side.

The Bigger Body version of Bunzo, however, takes on a darker and more twisted personality, showing his excitement and ravenous behavior through his cymbals, crashing them faster and louder the closer he gets to The Player. He seemingly delights in eating The Player if they fail the game, screaming and crashing his cymbals with a deafening din before doing so.

Bubba Bubbaphant is an anthropomorphic cerulean elephant with black eyes, a S-shaped trunk, a long tail with a bulb-shaped end, and large ears. His feet, hands, and tail end, as well as the inside of his trunk and ears, are blue. Similar to the other Smiling Critters, Bubba is depicted with a wide toothless grin (the inner mouth shrouded in darkness), and he possesses a zipper line running down his center, with the zipper sporting a yellow light bulb pendant with a blue Edison screw base. Bubba also emits a lemongrass scent from the little spray applicator in his mouth.

His cartoon appearance is roughly the same as his toy appearance, albeit with his zipper line removed, the addition of white pupils, and the zipper pendant attached to a black necklace. Bubba Bubbaphant is the most intelligent Smiling Critter and acts as the brain of the gang. This behavior is backed up by his light bulb pendant (often used in cartoons to convey brilliant ideas), and by his interactions with CraftyCorn in the cartoon's intro, when he removed her painting from her easel to reveal a complex math equation. Bubba is observant and level-headed, keeping his friends on the right track to make smart decisions, so they can create a bright future for themselves.

In the Smiling Critters Cartoon, like the other Smiling Critters, Bubba showcased a more desperate personality when CatNap came to DogDay's house during their sleepover. His retained intelligence was the catalyst for the subsequent events, as he was the first critter to ask CatNap to use his abilities to overcome their fear-induced insomnia. When CatNap complied, Bubba showed signs of euphoria when inhaling the Red Smoke, laughing hysterically with the others until he passed out.

Lily Lovebraids is a tan ball-jointed doll that lacks a nose, has large oval-shaped eyes with black irises, round ears and blushed cheeks, and a smiling mouth framed by white teeth. She has a long curved eyelash for each eyelid. Her most notable feature is her long vibrant purple hair, which first appears wrapped into a large chignon-like style and then unfolds into three lengthy braids, with a singular bang hanging out from her forehead. At the back of her head, there is a golden ring that holds some hair braids that stick out from it. She wears a purple t-shirt and black suspenders with a yellow star embroidered on the front pocket. Her suspenders flow out into a black triangular skirt with white diamond-shaped lining. Lily also wears purple Mary Jane shoes and black over-the-calf socks with white trims; a yellow star is embroidered on each one. While the sock on her left leg is fully extended, the one on her right leg is pulled up to her mid-calf.

In dark areas, part of Lily’s hair glows a bright purple while her eyes and teeth glow green.

When losing her temper, Lily's eyes become dilated and slightly bloodshot, exuding a manic vibe. Each of her braids also seem to end in three gnarled claws. As a result of her conditioning, Lily acquired many of the behavioral traits that Ms. Gracie's persona displays in the conditioning videos. She attempts to keep up an excited, optimistic and friendly personality, and emphasizes words and gestures as if wanting to engage those she is speaking with, much like the host of a kids' TV show. Like Ms. Gracie in the videos, she has the habit of occasionally referring to people, including herself, through nicknames consisting in alliterative or rhyming pairs of adjective and name (such as "Silly Lily", "Winning Wendy" or "Asking Annie"), usually to describe someone's behavior or situation. She also adopted the ideals that the videos tried to instill in the toys - the belief that she has always been a toy, that it is important to well-behave, and that bad toys must be punished by being put "Inside the Bad Toy Box". In a message written by the Prototype about Lily after her 410th day of isolation in the Conditioning Wing (at which point, her conditioning had already been completed), he describes her as "childishly naive".

Similarly, Lily acquired some of the traits that are associated with her toy's character. More specifically, she seems very fond of tea parties and cooking. She also keeps a "girly" pose while walking and running (with arms extended along her sides, and hands slightly raised with the back facing upwards), even when she is mad. Unlike her fictional counterpart, however, Lily has not yet been shown displaying an interest in dressing up or in styling hair, or in hair in general.

Despite her pretense of being a nice person, Lily is actually selfish, bossy, and easily angered, nor does she make any honest attempt to hide it. Even while acting friendly, her dialogue is punctured with mean sarcasm and threatening innuendos, and she speaks with taunt and belittlement to people she is being explicitly hostile toward. She considers "bad toys" those who do not do as she says or disrespect her, and reacts with violence when met with such behavior, to the point of attempting to kill The Player if they ignore her while she is talking to them, cheat at her "Green Light/Red Light" game, or when they try to flee the Dollhouse. However, because of her confidence, Lily seems to prefer to toy with her victims rather than kill them right away, as shown when she challenges The Player to a game upon catching their first attempt to escape, expecting them to lose and thus to kill them during it; in such occasion, she also proves that she is willing to go back on her word, since she quickly recaptures The Player despite having promised them "a prize" had they managed to win. Only when she is truly furious, such as after the tea party, does she go straight for the kill; in this state, she has been shown performing childish tantrums, such as angrily banging against a door in order to open it, and her voice occasionally distorts. In the past, this side of Lily's personality was seemingly even more unstable, as she initially mentions to her Candy head that the reason why she does not want to kill the Player is that she "always kill[s] [their] friends and then [they] are alone".

Lily's unstable state of mind is evident in much of her mannerisms. When she gets excited, she expresses her joy by smiling or laughing maniacally, and similarly does so while angered, at the prospect of getting to punish those that wronged her. She is quick to jump to conclusions, such as when she assumes that The Player has come for her tea party upon first encountering them, or when she blames them for ruining it (to the point of accusing them of being ungrateful despite her hospitality) despite The Player having played no role in the event. Furthermore, although she quickly grows suspicious of The Player after suspecting that they might have been talking to Poppy and Missy, she does not keep an eye on them and trusts them not to sneak around while they complete her tasks (however, it is unclear whether she did this out of self-delusion about The Player's motivations, or out of confidence that The Player is not going to defy her). Lily also seems to assume that anyone she encounters is a toy, as she mistakes The Player as one, and it is unclear whether she ever realizes The Player's true nature or the role they have played so far, though it is implied that she knows about them killing Doey.

Lily's most notable display of insanity, however, is her habit of talking to inanimate toys as if they were alive, even going as far as to place them around the Dollhouse in situations that mimic domestic activities, a coping mechanism developed to deal with the isolationism forced upon her. In particular, she always carries around a Candy Cat head, which she uses to express her more pessimistic and grounded thoughts (such as suggesting that The Player might not have come for the tea party like she wants to believe) by talking to herself in a lower-pitch voice and pretending that it is the head doing so, at which point Lily replies to it by dismissing its claims or rectifying them. When, during the tea party, the Prototype damages the head annoyed by Lily's behavior, she reacts by crossing her arms, sulking, and leaving the party, only returning to sneak up on Poppy after noticing her lying on the table.

Since she lost her memories as a result of her conditioning, Lily is unable to understand why she is an outcast among the Prototype's followers. As a result of this, she is desperate for the Prototype's approval, doing anything she can to earn a place at his side as well as worrying over anything that might displease him. She also seems to harbor some level of hatred for Poppy Playtime, demanding she stop singing while captive, displaying bitterness at her being The Prototype's "favorite" despite her continued rebellions, and even attempting to inflict further harm upon her after her face got accidentally crushed. Besides the Prototype, the only other person Lily cares about is Ms. Gracie. Since Lily does not remember her previous life, she believes Ms. Gracie's persona in the conditioning videos to be the woman's actual personality; as such, she believes her to be a kind, friendly person, and is grateful to her for having made her who she is and having been the only one who ever kept her company. When Lily finds her former corpse, she recognizes it as Ms. Gracie from the conditioning tapes and brings it to the Dollhouse, where she starts caring for it as if it were alive, gifting it plushies and flowers, dressing it up in jewels, brushing its head believing it to still have hair, and setting up a personal room for it where it can sleep. However, Lily's awareness of her previous life seems to still exist on a subconscious level: when she discovers that someone has gotten inside her room, where Ms. Gracie's body lies,, she lulls the corpse by telling it to go back to sleep and that "no one is going to hurt [her] anymore", despite the fact that she should not be aware of the fact that Ms. Gracie has been tortured.

Giblet appears to be a chihuahua or fox like creature with an orange-brown color tone. His left eye sports a brilliant magenta pupil and black iris in the shape of a four petaled flower, while the other appears to be missing; ergo, his eye socket is concealed by a black leather eye patch. Like other critters encountered throughout Chapter 5, he appears to have had his skin turned inside out. He has some patches of brown fur poking out of his skin, some as his eyebrows, on his chin, his arms and legs and on his ears and on top of his head. He also has a metal bolt on where his nose should be. Inside of his mouth, he has a bunch of several square shape teeth.

In terms of clothing, Giblet wears what looks like a frock coat with a large Huggy Wuggy button and a patched mitten on his left and right hand. And there seems to be some stuffing sticking out of the mittens and the tip of his left ear and other parts of his head. While both of Giblet's legs appear to be functional, he has resorted to needing to use a cane to help support him when walking. This cane also acts as a taser, having been made from electrical parts.

His artwork resembles that of the Critters, having a wide smile, but unlike the critters, his eyes are black with white sclera. His nose appears to be heart-shaped and his tail is short and stumpy. Giblet appears to come across as being hopeful, but also unsure of himself constantly saying he’s "not a hero" as he remarked with some surprise to see The Player up close as being "the one they've been talking about." He appears to display resistance and outright refusal to the Prototype's rule.

He admires and cares for Poppy, yet he is taken aback after learning of her ill-fated plan to destroy the factory's foundations to eliminate the Prototype. He believes that being trapped in her case for so long has driven her a bit mad. Before she was abducted by the Prototype in Chapter 5 he puts one of Poppy's broken face shards in his pocket, perhaps as a keepsake. Giblet might have heard about the Player's actions against Doey the Doughman; he confides with Chum Chompkins that he always recognized Doey was unfortunately volatile, stating he figured at some point Doey's violent side would eventually overpower his other two. Nevertheless, Giblet did mourn Doey when he was notified about his death.

Mommy Long Legs is a tall, slender toy with an uncanny resemblance to a spider-like insect, her name being a playful pun on the spider "Daddy Long Legs." She has an ellipse-shaped, light pink head with a long, black, empty, smiling mouth accentuated with pink lipstick. Her large, circular eyes are green with white sclera and human-like, framed by three black eyelashes on each eye. She sports a hot pink fringe that wraps around in a circular style on the left side of her head, tied with a light blue hair tie that extends into a long, noodle-like ponytail. Her neck is stretchable and light pink, featuring a toy-like hole at the top, reminiscent of real-life toys. Around her neck is a light blue pearl necklace, complementing her heart-shaped torso and hot pink, sweetheart-bodice-style outfit. Her arms are long and extendable, capable of stretching hundreds of feet, with a design similar to her neck. She wears hot pink gloves with light blue cuffs, matching her light blue cuffed socks on her long legs, which end in hot pink doll shoes. Below her torso, she has a large pink abdomen, further emphasizing her spider-like appearance.

Following her second face-to-face encounter with the player, Mommy's appearance is a bit more worse for wear. Her entire body is withered and covered in grime.

After losing her temper and sanity completely, Mommy's general appearance becomes drastically unhinged. Her eyes are fully dilated, exuding a manic vibe (they are gray), with her irises fading to a pale artichoke color. She no longer blinks, and her once-neat curls become twisted and mangled. Her hands enlarge disproportionately, with fingers elongated and splayed like claws. Her body contorts into unnaturally alarming angles, especially during her final chase. In her death scene, blood splatters from her abdomen as she is crushed by the grinder, confirming her organic nature, similar to Huggy Wuggy and other living toy experiments. As a fictional character created by Playtime Co., remarkably little is known about Mommy Long Legs' personality, but the Orientation Notebook does describe her as "caring and sensitive", and she's presumably motherly.

Experiment 1222, the Bigger Bodies version of Mommy, is extremely complex. On the surface, she presents as warm, attentive, and maternal, constantly speaking in an overly sweet voice, referring to herself in third person, and using childish language, and this seems to be how she interacted with the children and other experiments.

However, when faced with an employee of Playtime Co., her facade shatters and she becomes aggressive, enraged, spiteful, and condescending. When she meets The Player, despite her attempts at maintaining her composure, she cannot hide her desire to see them die and expresses disappointment when they continuously don't.

She blames Playtime Co. for stealing her original identity, and it may be the source of her passionate hatred for them. She was also slightly defiant towards her captors, sometimes promising children she would protect them when they left the Game Station.

She was deeply attached to the children who visited the Game Station to be tested, and missed them when they left and never returned. However, years later, it seems this grief transformed into resentment, as she frames it as the children abandoned her to die alone, which she insists she didn't deserve. This could be why she is willing to kill her subordinates in the Game Station.

She is afraid of The Prototype, but seemingly not because he posed a threat to her. Instead, she expresses fear of what he'll do with her corpse, somehow aware of his tendency to integrate deceased experiments into his design. In the end, she was proven right, as he attached her right arm to his front following her death.

Doey is a plump dough creature, made up of a multi-colored clay-like substance. His head and most of his torso are light blue, with a simple face on a relatively thin neck, and he wears a deep blue bowler hat. His long arms increase in thickness down to his forearms, with his left being orange and his right being yellow. His forearms end in four-fingered hands, each finger short and plump. Meanwhile, his legs are stubby red nubs. He lacks facial features besides a line for a mouth and holes in his head representing eyes. Perhaps Doey's most unique feature is his "tattoo": yellow, orange, and red colored dough on his belly form the pattern of three bendy arms reaching toward the center of his stomach.

When he is consumed with rage, sharp red teeth can be seen lining his wide mouth and are more apparent before his transformation. Aggressive Form

Though still retaining the same color scheme as his regular form, Doey's hostile appearance takes on a near crocodilian form. His mouth is now opened at an approximate 100° angle, pushing his bowler hat and eyes to the back of his head. Emerging from his esophagus are three mouthless, childlike humanoids crammed together. These humanoids possess dark teal skin, red eyes, and arms ending in hands with four, long-fingered digits, including thumbs. Four of these arms hold open the tooth-rimmed cavernous maw from asymmetrical positions (one at the upper lip, two at the bottom lip, and one on the lip's right-hand side), and two more arms reach outward, to grasp prey at close quarters. Both the upper-right and lower-middle humanoids' eyes are drawn in expressions of sorrow (representing Matthew and Jack), while the upper-left humanoid's eyes display aggression (representing Kevin). Doey's tattoo, along with most of his stomach, is now obscured by a layer of grimy, gray dough. Six human-like arms emerge from his torso while his back section lags behind. Several smaller four-fingered forelimbs with shorter thumbs and longer digits emerge from said back section. Instead of retaining his stubby legs, Doey sports a red-colored tail. This tail has two splits and three points; two points are the same, with the middle being longer and larger than the other two. His tail also maintains four little human arms, along with hands and a bit of blood on the base of his body. As a fictional character created by Playtime Co., remarkably little is known about Doey the Doughman, except that he seems warm, friendly, humorous, and willing to change for others.

As Experiment 1322, the Bigger Bodies version of Doey, his personality can be divided into three, matching his components: Matthew Hallard, Kevin Barnes, and Jack Ayers.

Matthew is the most prominent mind in Doey, and he is often overly cheery and playful, displaying his characteristic charisma that made everyone in Playcare fond of him and that got him chosen for Project: Doey in the first place. In casual moments, he is teasing and friendly towards The Player, referring to them with diminutives such as "pal" and "bud". He has a tendency to refer to darker subjects, such as his killing and devouring of Pianosaurus and if The Player has killed The Doctor yet, gleefully, which can come off unnerving yet never seems ingenuine. However, during certain moments, such as when he debates Poppy Playtime about the ethics of her plan to detonate the Factory and everyone within, he becomes more serious and cautious and speaks more monotone. He is extremely compassionate, seeing humanity in all the experiments and wanting to protect the ones he leads in Safe Haven, which leads him into conflict with the more pragmatic Poppy. Though he is overall the most dominant mind in Doey, he cannot restrain Kevin when the latter becomes enraged, as seen when Kevin blames The Player for Safe Haven's destruction and Matthew tries to give a more nuanced perspective, Kevin instantly shuts him down and takes over to attack The Player. Despite his usual cheer, Matthew is deeply insecure, sourcing from an incident that got his family killed; he believes everything that goes wrong is his fault and berates himself for it, often attributing it to him not being good enough, particularly him not being intelligent enough, which likely stems from him having not been very smart or strong prior to the procedure, and with Doey being very physically imposing, he is left with feeling like he lacks intellect, and thus is "only made to hurt things". He is also afraid of The Prototype, as he freaks out when Poppy reveals he's near Safe Haven when she, The Player, and Kissy Missy arrive, and later is very hesitant to even lead 1006 away when Ollie informs them he's nearby.

Kevin is the second-most prominent mind in Doey, though he still takes over far less than Matthew. He suffers from severe anger issues, seemingly sourcing from however his parents were, considering his reaction to Jack's parents and listing his own among those he needs to "hurt back", which Playtime Co. seemingly never attempted to treat and just let him stew in, leading him to respond to stressful situations, which is when he typically emerges, by finding someone to blame for the situation, screaming extensively, forcing the other two minds into submission, and, of course, attacking who he chooses to be responsible, as seen by his breakdown after Safe Haven's destruction. Notably, he does seem somewhat compassionate, as he is angry at Poppy for abandoning her supporters in the past and snaps when Safe Haven is destroyed. He may also be insecure, as when Matthew starts to berate himself near the end, Kevin seemingly tries to join in, only to be interrupted by the killing blow. He may also surface during rare moments of reflecting on the past, particularly Playtime Co.'s cruelty, without rage, using a dry voice, but it's difficult to distinguish this from Matthew's serious moments.

Jack is the least prominent mind in Doey by a vast margin, only surfacing a few times near the end of Chapter 4 in response to extreme distress. He speaks rather immaturely, and every time he expresses something sorrowful; it's unclear if he ever surfaces outside of damaging moments. He expresses grief over Safe Haven's destruction like the other two, but attributes blame to the direct culprit, The Prototype, without focus rather than raging at the indirect in The Player and Poppy, unlike Kevin. He laments being trapped in the Factory, calling out for his "Mommy" and "Daddy", who Kevin killed previously in a fit of defensive rage. It's clear he also regrets Kevin's violence, as when Doey is dying, he tearfully apologizes first, proceeding Matthew's own apology.

Harley Sawyer's human appearance is currently unknown. After becoming Experiment 1354, he was reduced to organs (lungs, liver, and giant brain) stored and kept alive within Vital System Centers scattered around the prison. When he looks through a television, an eye surrounded by static will appear on the screen. The Doctor can also take control of mechanical vessels around the room his brain is located in. When they activate, a yellow eye with fingers around it will appear until it turns into a larger, chaotic, red eye when it starts to attack. When The Doctor possesses his mind to one of the vessels, its screen will show the exact same eye from the television when he is looking through it.

When their eyes are shown on screen, they appear to have dark purple eyes that are usually soulless. There's also just a plain, black background behind his eye. Also, only one eye appears on his screen. Dr. Harley Sawyer was a cruel, merciless, narcissistic, apathetic and amoral scientist who cared little for anyone or anything other than himself and his goals. With his Bigger Bodies Initiative, Dr. Sawyer defaced and mutilated countless orphans by converting them into living toys, the experience of which is universally negative and pioneered an era of what could essentially amount to mass murder and suffering. Few of his personality traits listed below can be considered positive and it's heavily implied that Sawyer was already troubled and problematic as a young child, carrying his distinctive trait of complete focus on himself and little of others, manipulating and threatening many people along the way.

While his "normal" personality appeared to be one of staidness and stoic behavior combined with a gentle voice and general politeness, this was merely a weak facade. It's demonstrated that Sawyer's real personality was of an angry, violent and irritable man who could hardly tolerate anyone, even his co-workers and frequently yelled at people when his temper got the best of him. In the tape "Your gift has finally arrived.", Sawyer found out someone was recording him and ferociously yelled that the camera be turned off immediately, starkly contrasting with his generally stoic demeanor. With this attitude, Sawyer was widely disliked by everyone; his colleagues when he worked as a neurosurgeon thought of him as a joke, as he constantly worried that a disaster was not too far off from happening and was a major perfectionist, while in Playtime Co., none of the heads ( Leith Pierre, Edward "Eddie" M. N. Ritterman and Stella Greyber) could tolerate his behavior for long and various Specialists wished he could be killed off by Boxy Boo.

Sawyer was well-known for his lack of empathy or really any kind of positive feeling towards others. In the Chapter 4 tape: "The Doctor", Eddie complained that Sawyer had absolutely no regard for the safety of the Playtime Co. facility or its staff while Stella agreed with him and noted that Sawyer refused to follow her boundaries that she set regarding the children in Playcare. In "Prisoner Profile, Experiment 1166", Sawyer found it disgusting that the few security staff Yarnaby showed loyalty to had some form of sympathy for him.

Sawyer also appeared to be notoriously picky; in the Sandwich Note, the writer tells their friend that Sawyer resented sweet pickles, telling them that if they take his order, they mustn't pick out sweet pickles lest they get punished severely. Even though the writer admits this was merely a joke, it provides a good insight of his personality and implies he is very childish despite his age. In the tape reporting about Kevin Barnes (1322B), Scientist #4 bemoaned Sawyer's choice of continuing to include Kevin along with Matthew Hallard (1322C) and Jack Ayers (1322C), since Kevin's aggressive behavior that could render Doey the Doughman (Experiment 1322) as a dangerous asset. Considering the dangers of this, it's likely that the scientists warned against this choice numerous times which Sawyer refused to listen to, which shows another level of his pickiness.

In "Experiment 1188 Proposal", the person writing the proposal states that "Dr. Sawyer insists he handle the extraction himself.", indicating that Sawyer was very much dedicated to the Bigger Bodies Initiative and/or wanted to be credited for the extraction, either as an honor for his dedication to research or an arrogant way to gain recognition. This implies that Sawyer had a large ego, which is further proven by the fact that when someone emailed him asking for help regarding a computer terminal, he replied by stating that HE has never needed help.[13]

In the Prisoner Profile for Yarnaby, Sawyer notes that "it" should be kept isolated, having only contact with him, saying: "By the time I'm done...I'll be its whole world. It'll know nothing else." This shows Sawyer to be manipulative and apathetic to the plight of his experiments, not caring for them in the least. It also shows him to be very merciless and cruel, as what Sawyer implies is him having total control over Yarnaby, which no doubt would involve manipulation and torture in various ways. After Yarnaby's death, Sawyer shows no feeling for his pet, merely stating that he had more on hand, further supporting the idea.

In Chapter 4: Safe Haven, Sawyer states that he wishes to make a game out of The Player. Later, he (in one of his bodies) sarcastically waves at them, showing that he can be extremely sadistic and that he likes to toy with people who are at his mercy. It's noted in Sawyer's Secret he was shown to have a complete lack of regard for the lives of the children in Playcare stating that they would've been nothing more than another "drooling automaton" out in the world blindly following better men and says that he made their lives matter with this experimentation project. Sawyer also calls the fantasies of Elliot Ludwig "childish", while also stating that he was broken and naive. Sawyer breaks down about his project being stolen from him as he paved the Golden Path but was supposedly never given credit for it. His last condescending and remorseless words are "You've... saved... no one.".

Another side of Harley's personality was present during his time in the Young Geniuses Program. He put his trust in Elliot Ludwig and explained that what they were doing was the only thing he had ever wanted. Elliot also wrote that Harley didn't care for his comrades and had no interest in making friends. Another of Harley's flaws is that he's a complete hypocrite; which is shown when Elliot later removed Harley from the program. Harley seems to have had a mental breakdown, writing that nobody cares and that nobody understands him; when he never cared about anyone and also didn't try to understand anyone. According to the in-game description of the removal letter, it was this that turned Sawyer into a monster, suggesting that, although he always displayed concerning personality traits, it was the removal that took him over the edge, possibly further alluding to Sawyer's past of neglect and abandonment issues.

Boxy Boo is a vibrant, colorful jack-in-the-box toy. The main body is a light blue square box with golden shapes adorning each side: a star on the front, a heart on the back, and two side lids with a single circle each. There is also a wind-up crank just above the right-side lid. The arms pop out of the side lids, the legs pop out of the bottom of the box, and his head pops out of the top, which has a red lid with a yellow underside attached to the back edge.

His head is cubical, the fur on his hands, head, and feet is red, and his eyes are big and dilated, just like Huggy Wuggy's. He has claws on his feet and hands and has curved sharpened teeth. His limbs are made of dark red metallic springs, allowing them to stretch far out. His hands are unusually structured, possessing two fingers on either side and two more on top, and his feet are rectangular with three toe claws on each foot.

As a 2D cartoon render, he only has one visible tooth, but as confirmed on the construction render, he does indeed have a full set of teeth, including another fang on the other side of his mouth. He is also usually depicted with a tuft of hair on top of his head in the 2D art. Boxy Boo, as a toy character, is portrayed as joyful and energetic but somewhat clumsy, as shown in his various cut-outs. He seems to dislike tasks that require a lot of physical effort, especially when he has to do them alone, and he becomes easily worn out by such activities. In the Orientation Notebook, he is described as a troublemaker, hinting at a mischievous side to his playful nature. Drawing from this architype, as a Bigger Bodies monster, he is gluttonous and violent, capable of eating people in one fell swoop or even just segments of their bodies. While he has a hunger for food, he also displays some patience, playing the long game by hiding in his box and attacking when least expected.

Pianosaurus is a large, bipedal theropod dinosaur with piano keys running down the entire underside of his body, starting at the neck and ending at the tip of his tail. He has a green body with two small black eyes similar to a chameleon, a red horn on the right side of his head, a yellow one on the left side, and an orange one in the middle. He also has a flattened snout with a tiny yellow spike and pink blushes on the corners of his mouth.

His neck is long with four multicolored spikes, while his torso is much larger and rounder with smaller spikes along his back that run down its long tail, which ends in what appears to be a club. Pianosaurus' front legs are long and lanky, but the forearms are bigger and more robust, ending in three multicolored claws. The back legs are slightly larger and look bird-like, also ending in three claws. Overall, both his claws and spikes form a full rainbow of colors.

The Pianosaurus toy's most iconic feature is the small keyboard it has for teeth in the shape of a wide grin. Interestingly, while the toy version has the keys in the normal piano configuration of W-B-W-B-W-W-B-W-B-W-B-W (W = white keys, B = black keys, repeated), the Bigger Bodies version uses W-B-W-W-B-W (repeated) configuration. This could be the possible reason of why he couldn't play his piano rhythms in tune according to his Prisoner Profile. As shown in his fictional cut-out quotes, Pianosaurus has a jovial and enthusiastic personality. He is known to enjoy singing very much and to have a habit of singing while he speaks. He also jokes about what happened to the dinosaurs.

According to his Prisoner Profile, his Bigger Body version appeared to have no human qualities whatsoever, and had the behavior of a rabid animal, eating whatever fit into his mouth regardless of appetite. He was also described to snap at any perceived motion, to fight against any nearby staff and to not be able to play his piano notes in tune. The Pianosaurus comic series reveals that he would see things in front of him differently, and often in a much more positive light than what was really happening. For instance, when he accidentally murdered a mini Hoppy Hopscotch, he believed that she was actually dancing on stage with him, and was devastated when he was permanently banished by Doey from ever returning to Safe Haven.

In Chapter 4: Safe Haven, when first encountering The Player, who he saw as Bron, Pianosaurus began to charge at them, with the intention of asking if they want to join his band. But to the eyes of The Player, it looked like he was going to kill them. This, and many other instances, show that Pianosaurus can often be unaware of how he presents himself to others.

Yarnaby is a lion-like creature, with his mane and most of his fur composed entirely of multicolored yarn. Unlike real lions, his tail is absent. His features extend to an amber-colored face and limbs with a black line/seam vertically running down his face, while a touch of tan graces his three-toed paws. His spherical head contains two large, cartoonish white eyes with black dilated irises and small white pupils. On his face rests a big grin with three triangular fangs poking out asymmetrically from his lower lip, giving him a goofy appearance.

His monster counterpart remains largely the same, with the exception of his paws featuring sharp, broken dark claws and a dewclaw on each front paw. His legs also have bloody scratches, scars, and small wounds. In this state, his face splits in half to reveal a large open mouth hollowed out inside his head, giving him a deranged and disturbing physique. The hollowed-out portions are composed of bright crimson flesh, and the outer rims contain swollen gums lined with a ring of sharp jagged teeth, several of which are chipped and broken. Blood can be seen dripping from his gums, indicating that rather than his teeth sitting flush together, they stab into his gums when the mouth is closed. Closer observation of Yarnaby's true mouth reveals a much smaller maw just before his throat, which functions as a secondary mouth. As shown in his cut-out quotes, Yarnaby was marketed to have a playful personality. He tends to rhyme his name with other words and enjoys being brushed. He is also described as having a heart of gold, showing that he has a pure and kind nature and his jingle also shows that he has a protective nature.

According to his weekly check-up, as well as the Prisoner Profile, Yarnaby was originally stated to be docile, agile, and highly impressionable. Unlike the other experiments, the Bigger Bodies version of Yarnaby showed no signs of hostility toward the scientists and staff. Furthermore, he displayed a peculiar semblance of obedience and loyalty towards certain security officers and scientists, including Dr. Harley Sawyer himself (similar to how CatNap was loyal to The Prototype). During his isolation sessions with The Doctor, Yarnaby developed an affinity with the latter, perceiving him as his master, which was exactly as Harley intended, though he never cared for Yarnaby.

Following Harley Sawyer's removal, Yarnaby lapsed into an unresponsive state fueled by grief and his wishes for his master's return. He also became extremely aggressive towards anyone who came near him other than Harley.

In Chapter 4: Safe Haven, Yarnaby was found to be very aggressive and hostile. When the Player gets inside of a cell, Harley Sawyer calls Yarnaby and opens the cell door, causing the creature to leap out. He crashes into the cell's window, pauses before attacking again, hitting the window with his head several times, scratching it, screaming, and roaring.

Huggy Wuggy is a creature with a slender, thin body that is covered in thick, bright blue fur. His arms and legs are several feet long and end in large yellow hands and feet. The hands have large black Velcro strips, and the feet have four toes, including thumbs, although they are fused and unable to move individually (except for the thumbs). His torso is sturdy and completely disproportionate to the length of his limbs. His head is large, and he has two large, dilated black eyes. His face features oversized, bright red lips worthy of a cartoon character. Around his neck is a ribbon the same blue color as his hair.

His aggressive version remains largely the same, except for his eyes, which are much more dilated, giving him a disturbed and disturbing appearance. Behind his lips is a mouth composed of dozens of jagged, needle-like teeth. Looking more closely at his mouth, a second jaw is seen inside, similar to that of a moray eel.

In the works of Playtime Co., Huggy Wuggy is depicted as a kind of large stuffed animal with dull blue fur and pale yellow hands and feet, whose fingers, except for the thumbs, are bound together. He has a small cyan ribbon around his neck, and the Velcro strips on his hands are not shown. He has thin eyebrows, oval eyes, and a large mouth that can open, with no teeth inside but a human tongue. However, the color of the ribbon around his neck changes between different works; sometimes it is cyan, sometimes it is the same yellow color as his hands and feet. As a result of the fall in Chapter 1, Huggy has gained noticeable injuries in several areas of his body due to the impacts upon hitting the pipes. A part of the left side of his head is missing, his lower left arm is completely gone, and parts of his fur are missing, revealing his "bones" or lack thereof, which appear to have been stitched together with pieces of rope. He also has what look like thin white bandages wrapped around his chest, right arm, and left leg. His bowtie can also be seen on the stump of his left arm. It appears on his hip that there is what appears to be a lump of gauze covered with blood of some sort held together by thin rope. He appears to have been updated with lighter colors, more fur, and a more detailed mouth. Originally marketed as a toy intended solely for providing platonic love through hugging, Huggy Wuggy was designed to hug children in need and was depicted with warm traits. Meanwhile, his Bigger Bodies counterpart retained a similar purpose. He was known to be sufficiently intelligent and served as a security guard, often only reacting aggressively when faced with hostility. This was exemplified on June 18, 1992, when Huggy went on a rampage upon being attacked with darts. He was known to be "obedient" as long as no aggression was directed towards him, which was explicitly stated in Log 08502. However, at times, Huggy was shown to be a relentless, violent entity driven by his given objectives, lacking control and mercilessly killing anyone who stood in his way.

When The Player returned in 2005, Huggy was maintaining his task to surveil and protect the Playtime Co. factory, alerting others to the presence of any new intruders. Huggy took a stealthy approach, stalking The Player until finally confronting them with a lethal embrace at the Make-A-Friend Room. When the two meet again at the end of Chapter 4: Safe Haven, Huggy furiously pounds on the reinforced door separating him and The Player and roars at them, indicating that he is absolutely infuriated for what they have done to him and is determined to get revenge.

Despite his savage nature, he appears to have a soft side for his female counterpart Kissy Missy, as he calmed down and began to bond with her when they met in Chapter 5.

Kissy Missy has exactly the same product specifications as Huggy Wuggy but with pink fur and lashes on her eyes with a blue bow around her neck. Aside from these things, all components of Huggy and Kissy are identical and interchangeable at the production stage. She looks nearly identical to her appearance in Chapter 4, but she is now missing her right arm. When the Prototype disfigures Poppy, she reveals to have sharp teeth and a double jaw just like Huggy.

PJ Pug-a-Pillar is a long creature that's a mix of pug and caterpillar, as his name suggests. His entire body is comprised of fluffy, woolly segments of pink, magenta and pale indigo. His head consists of large, dilated black eyes, a pink muzzle, a heart-shaped indigo nose, dark pink cheeks, a grinning mouth showing multiple teeth akin to a dog's, a lolling pink tongue, and fluffy indigo ears. He appears to have two teardrop markings underneath each eye. He has multiple pink limbs growing along the sides of his body, ending in what appears to be purple medieval jester's shoes, with skinny curved and pointed toes.PJ's cut out shows him to be a goofy and fun pet - a creature who asks people to play with him.

His Bigger Body counterpart is shown to be an animalistic creature with senses that allow him to follow a set path and course in the Statues game, where he chases the game's participant to the end in order to catch them, as designed. He also follows orders from Mommy Long Legs.

Bobby BearHug is an anthropomorphic bear with red fur, black eyes, a black nose, rounded ears, and padded paws. Her paws, upper snout, and belly are rose pink, similar to the inside of her ears. In line with other Smiling Critters, Bobby BearHug sports a perpetual wide toothless grin, her inner mouth shrouded in mysterious darkness, and she possesses a distinctive black zipper tracing down her center, with the zipper sporting a ruby-colored heart pendant. Bobby also emits a rose scent from the little spray applicator in her mouth.

Bobby BearHug's cartoon appearance is roughly the same as her toy appearance, albeit with her zipper line removed, the addition of white pupils, and the zipper pendant now attached to a black necklace.

The Bigger Body version of Bobby is very similar to CatNap's. Her ribs are showing and she has a slight dent on the top of her head. Her feet have no fur, have four toes, and have one claw on each toe. Her hands look very similar to her feet. She has a zipper going down her stomach, which sports a heart charm. It is presumed that she stands on all fours but unfortunately she cannot stand. According to her character description, Bobby BearHug possesses warm and appreciative qualities, similar to how Huggy Wuggy was designed. She cares deeply about her friends and everything around her, and will presumably act as a peacemaker, sharing the same role with CraftyCorn, if a fight breaks out amidst the crew. However, Bobby can also be seen as naive, as she may care about someone who does not have her best intentions at heart. According to her cardboard cutout, she fears being abandoned, asking The Player if they are going to leave her.

In the Smiling Critters Cartoon, like the other Smiling Critters, Bobby BearHug showcased an unnerving and maniacal personality when CatNap came to DogDay's house during their sleepover. When CatNap helped them fall asleep via the Red Smoke, Bobby showed signs of euphoria when inhaling the sleeping agent, laughing gleefully with the others until she passed out.

CatNap's toy form is an anthropomorphic purple-furred cat with black eyes, triangular ears, a black nose, and a very long tail. His paws are a darker shade of purple, similar to the insides of his ears. Just like the other Smiling Critters, CatNap is depicted with a wide, toothless smile with a small gray air tube sewn inside. His torso possesses a zipper line running down that entire segment of his body, with the zipper sporting a yellow crescent moon pendant.

CatNap’s cartoon/artwork appearance is roughly the same as his toy appearance, albeit with his zipper line removed, the addition of white pupils, and the zipper pendant now attached to a black necklace. Unlike the limp tail of his toy counterpart, his artwork and the cartoon depict it as mobile and even prehensile.

The Bigger Bodies CatNap resembles a feline creature cloaked in purple fur. His eyes showcase black pupils encircled by white irises and a cat-like nose. His mouth remains open at all times, devoid of discernible teeth, forming an abyss-like void. The paws bear four digits, each armed with sharp, black claws, and extremely elongated limbs that seem loosely stitched at the joints. The disproportionately small, emaciated torso exposes the rib cage, pelvic bone and spine beneath the skin. A gray zipper runs down his chest with a gold crescent moon pendant on it.

In his hallucination form, CatNap takes on a more haunting presence, with a sickly gray complexion. This skeletal version of him portrays a significant increase in his skeletal features. His legs resemble mere bare bones, lacking any semblance of flesh or fur. The paws, in particular, are completely skeletal with elongated bone-like fingers. The most dramatic part of the transformation can be seen in his mouth, which has elongated to an alarming extent, surpassing the length of his torso. His torso, on the other hand, displays a resemblance to a Stegosaurus, with ridges and plates adorning his back. The crescent moon that was once a part of CatNap has also undergone a change, now becoming silver. Its moon pendant also becomes a long necklace. As a fictional character created by Playtime Co., his information card calls him the "calming presence" of the Smiling Critters who enjoys watching the others sleep soundly. Additionally, the Orientation Notebook states that he holds a reassuring role among the group and was considered their "heart", implying he is supportive, stable, and foundational. DogDay's role is compared to his in the Orientation Notebook, implying CatNap may be even more important to the Critters functioning. He "doesn't speak", though it's unknown if this is hyperbolic and truly means he spoke little. Regardless, his quietness made him feel distant from the other Critters despite his support of them. Seemingly in contrast with his relationship with most of the Critters, he is close with DogDay, as they are described as "best friends", implying CatNap may have a unique liking for DogDay compared to the rest. In all of his canon appearances, he never stops smiling.

The most notorious trait of Experiment 1188, the Bigger Bodies version of CatNap, is his undying, fervent loyalty and reverence towards The Prototype. As Theodore Grambell, he befriended The Prototype when the latter hid beneath his bed in Home Sweet Home, and was subsequently saved by him when he accidentally electrocuted himself during their escape attempt, seemingly cementing his faith in his literal savior. Both DogDay and The Prototype, as Ollie, state that CatNap sees 1006 like a superhero or god, worshipping him and protecting his affairs aggressively, while also expressing his belief in The Prototype even to those who belittle both of them, such as Leith Pierre, showing he has no fear that he is wrong in believing in 1006. In the end, he seems to welcome death by his idol's hand after being severely electrocuted by The Player and heavily burned by himself on accident.

CatNap seemingly possesses asocial tendencies, refusing to seek friendship save for with The Prototype to the point it worried counselors prior to his procedure. This may be why it was difficult for him to integrate as Playcare's guardian and get along with the children.

He relentlessly attempted to retain his original identity as Theodore Grambell, seemingly a rare trait among experiments, but was forced to forget his true name by Gracie Green's conditioning, though it's implied he never accepted being CatNap.

He deeply despises Playtime Co., ruthlessly attacking the workers who were meant to handle him during his adjustment period as soon as he was able. This aggression did not cease until he was forced through conditioning by Gracie to be more compliant, though his resentment clearly never faded, as seen by his eager anticipation of The Hour of Joy, in which all the employees would be killed for their mistreatment of him and the other experiments, to the point he warned Leith of the event.

DogDay and Ollie claim he kills anyone who opposes The Prototype, and it's implied this was the fate of the other Bigger Bodies Smiling Critters, though the details are vague, so nothing concrete can be determined. In fact, his sparing of The Player in Chapter 3 might contradict this claim, but it's unknown why either of them would lie about it if they did.

Despite his extremism, CatNap is seemingly capable of mercy. It is unknown why he bisected DogDay, but he did not kill him and kept him close to his den, perhaps hoping he'd return to his faith in The Prototype. When he attacks The Player in the Counselor's Office and has the chance to kill them, he doesn't, instead giving them an ultimatum: leave or he kills them, and he only attacks when they choose to stay, implying he didn't want to hurt them.

In addition, he seems protective of the orphans in Playcare he was forced to care for. Guarding them during The Hour of Joy, and keeping them away from unstable individuals such as Miss Delight afterward. It is unknown how he felt about whatever The Prototype did to them.

According to Ollie, CatNap possesses instinctual feline traits such as being territorial, enjoying playing with prey, and hunting via removing all methods of escape or defense before going in for the kill. However, only his territoriality can be observed.

CraftyCorn is an anthropomorphic unicorn with white skin, black eyes, horse ears, and a silver spiral horn protruding from the center of her head. Her hooves, mane and tail are colored aqua, similar to the inside of her ears. Like the other Smiling Critters, CraftyCorn is depicted with a wide toothless grin with a voice box inside the black mouth and she possesses a black zipper line running down her center, with the zipper sporting a five-petaled rainbow flower pendant. She also emits a jasmine scent from the little spray applicator in her mouth.

CraftyCorn's cartoon appearance is roughly the same as her toy appearance, albeit with her zipper line removed, the addition of white pupils and the zipper pendant now attached to a black necklace. According to her Twitter description, CraftyCorn is a creative unicorn with a passion for art, sharing its importance with the other crew members seeing the beauty in all things around her. In the cartoon's intro, CraftyCorn demonstrates her skills as a talented painter, painting an exact replica of Bobby BearHug, which she excitedly showed to Bubba Bubbaphant (only to have him take it off to reveal his math equations, much to her surprise). This is reflected in other aspects, as throughout the art for the cartoon, she is always depicted painting or drawing something.

CraftyCorn is also often shown to be quite shy, as well as timid and jumpy in the Smiling Critters Cartoon, as she screamed and cowered under her blanket when a tree branch snapped off during a windy storm at DogDay's house, showing her as the most easily scared of the group. When CatNap helped them fall asleep via The Red Smoke, CraftyCorn showed signs of euphoria when inhaling the sleeping agent, laughing hysterically with the others until they passed out.

KickinChicken is an anthropomorphic chicken with yellow feathers, four-digit wings, black eyes, a half-moon-shaped upper beak, and a three-feathered crown extending down the right side of his face. His feet and upper beak have an orange color. Similar to the other Smiling Critters, KickinChicken is depicted with a wide toothless grin (the inner mouth shrouded in darkness), and he possesses a black zipper line running down his chest and belly, with the zipper sporting an orange colored star pendant. He also emits a ylang-ylang scent from the little spray applicator in his mouth.

KickinChicken's cartoon appearance is roughly the same as his toy appearance, albeit with his zipper line removed, the addition of white pupils, and the zipper pendant attached to a black necklace.

According to his character description, KickinChicken is depicted as the "cool kid" of the Smiling Critters crew. He highly values this representation of himself, so he maintains his image through everything he does. This behavior appears in the cartoon's intro, where he is seen surfing, a sport generally considered to be cool. KickinChicken also has a strong sense of determination, as he will emerge unfazed from any tense situation that brings him to his knees.

In the Smiling Critters Cartoon, despite this enthusiasm, KickinChicken is prone to fear, as he cowered with the other six Smiling Critters (excluding CatNap) during a windy storm at DogDay's house. When CatNap agreed to use the Red Smoke to help them sleep, KickinChicken showed signs of euphoria when inhaling it, laughing hysterically with the others until they all passed out.

Additionally, the Orientation Notebook also confirmed that his confidence is easily shattered by various scary things (not just windy storms), but with the help of his friends, he's determined to overcome those fears, continuing to be the "cool kid" he's depicted as.

DogDay is an anthropomorphic canine, characterized by an orange fur that complements his expressive black eyes, floppy ears, and sleek black nose. His features extend to a sunshine-yellow outer mouth and belly, while a touch of golden brown graces his paws, ears, and the left side of his face. In line with other Smiling Critters, DogDay sports a perpetual wide toothless grin, his inner mouth shrouded in mysterious darkness. A distinct black zipper gracefully traces down his center, showcasing a captivating gold sun pendant surrounded by radiant orange sun rays. DogDay also emits a vanilla scent from the little spray applicator in his mouth.

DogDay’s cartoon appearance is roughly the same as his toy appearance, albeit with his zipper line removed, the addition of white pupils, and the zipper pendant now attached to a black necklace.

The Bigger Body version of DogDay takes on a ragged, monstrous appearance. Completely bisected at the waist, all that remains of DogDay is a thin dilapidated torso stained with blood and held together with a tan leather belt, likely to keep the remains of his innards from falling out. He has large black stitches connecting both arms to his body which end in two massive human-like hands, and like CatNap, his black pupils have white irises. Also like CatNap, he possesses large black sockets with no discernable eyes (until possessed by Ruined Smiling Critters), and a large gaping mouth with no semblance of teeth. Personality As a fictional character created by Playtime Co., according to his info card, DogDay is the "sunny, strong, and determined leader" of the Smiling Critters, who trust him to "find the bright side in any situation", meaning he's an optimist. He also encourages his friends when they feel down and always keeps them going, no matter what, meaning he plays a supportive role in the group. The Orientation Notebook compares his support to CatNap, claiming it's more open and direct, possibly implying they work together in different ways to help the group. Like the other Smiling Critters, excluding CatNap, DogDay seems to have ancraophobia (fear of wind), though he halfheartedly attempts to convince the others not to be afraid despite his own fear, displaying his courage and care even in moments of distress. Like the others, he possesses no fear of CatNap or the Red Smoke, and seems to welcome being put to sleep by the latter every night. DogDay and CatNap are described as "best friends", and the former seems to be closer to the latter than anyone else.

The Bigger Body version of DogDay is known for his defiance against CatNap and The Prototype, but this was not always the case. Originally, he was rather loyal to 1006, similar to CatNap himself, until he rebelled against them alongside the other Bigger Bodies Smiling Critters and other experiments, likely due to The Prototype's authoritarian behavior. Regardless, he began to express faith in The Prototype's opposition, Poppy Playtime, believing her capable of resolving the situation, though it's unclear if he is aware of her plan to detonate the Factory and eliminate everyone. This hope extends to Poppy's agent in The Player, who he tries to assist by informing them of what little he knows and encouraging them to leave the dangerous Playhouse, even as he's being internally consumed by the Ruined Smiling Critters.

DogDay seems to hold CatNap in low regard following his turn, dehumanizing his former ally by calling him "that thing", before disclosing his violence towards "heretics".

His feelings on The Prototype are more vague, and filtered through CatNap's actions in his idol's name, though it's clear he isn't fond of his former leader.

PickyPiggy is an anthropomorphic pig with pink skin, black eyes, a curly tail, a half-moon shaped upper snout, and ears curling inward. Her hooves and snout, along with the inside of her ears, are a darker shade of pink. Similar to the other Smiling Critters, PickyPiggy is depicted with a wide toothless grin (the inner mouth shrouded in darkness), and she possesses a black zipper line running down her center, with the zipper sporting a red apple pendant. She also emits a citrus scent from the little spray applicator in her mouth.

PickyPiggy's cartoon appearance is roughly the same as her toy appearance, albeit with the zipper line removed, the addition of white pupils, and the zipper pendant now attached to a black necklace. PickyPiggy is a healthy eater who loves food and encourages her friends to eat a well-balanced diet, though she harbors a secret fondness for cheeseburgers and PB&J sandwiches. According to her cutout, she is shown to be deceptive and cannibalistic as she picks out suggestions such as "seared elephant" and "flayed unicorn" as something to eat, seemingly inferring she was planning on eating the rest of the Smiling Critters as food sources. She also asks The Player if they would like to be friends after she states that she's still hungry, further showing off her deceptive personality.

In the Smiling Critters Cartoon, she begged CatNap to use his Red Smoke to overcome her fear-induced insomnia, saying: "We need it, CatNap!" When he complied, PickyPiggy showed signs of euphoria when inhaling the sleeping agent, laughing hysterically with the others until she passed out.

Hoppy Hopscotch is an anthropomorphic lime green rabbit with black eyes, a black nose, and long ears, as well as a green cotton tail. Her paws are green, similar to the rounded T-shape design in the inside of her ears. Like the other Smiling Critters, she is depicted with a wide toothless grin with a small gray air tube stuck inside her, and she possesses a black zipper line running down her center, with the zipper sporting a gold lightning pendant. Hoppy also emits a peppermint scent from the little spray applicator in her mouth.

Hoppy's cartoon appearance is roughly the same as her toy appearance, albeit with her zipper line removed, the addition of white pupils and four-digit hands, and the zipper pendant now attached to a black necklace.

The Bigger Body version of Hoppy is similar to CatNap's in term of appearance, but she has a rabbit's nose and long ears that protrude from both sides of her head. The rest of her body's appearance is unknown, as only her head has been shown in the VHS tape. Hoppy Hopscotch is an energetic and enthusiastic rabbit, which is represented by her lightning bolt pendant. She is particularly fond of outdoor sports, specifically soccer as shown in the intro to the Smiling Critters Cartoon, in which she kicks a soccer ball while she is atop a rainbow. She is also described as sometimes being loud, bossy, and impatient especially when it comes to Player hopping to the Moon with her. Despite this, Hoppy also demonstrates eagerness to help others and slow down accordingly as proven by both her character description and her cutout dialogue.

In the Smiling Critters Cartoon, like the other Smiling Critters, Hoppy showcased an unnerving and maniacal personality when CatNap came to DogDay's house during her sleepover. Her retained excitability was shown when she chanted, "Sleep! Sleep! Sleep!" to CatNap, encouraging him to use his abilities to overcome her fear-induced insomnia. When CatNap complied, Hoppy showed signs of euphoria when inhaling the Red Smoke, laughing hysterically with the others until she passed out.

The Bigger Body version of Hoppy is shown to be concerning of her allies, as she brought back an injured toy to be treated when they were ambushed. However, like the other experiments that underwent conditioning, she is shown to harbor hatred toward the employees of the Labs, disregarding their pleas for mercy and even going as far to torture Gracie Green and dragging her away to experiment on her for the way they were treated.

Baba Chops is an anthropomorphic sheep, characterized by black wool that complements her cotton tail and the expressive black eyes associated with her toy line. However, her dark wool contrasts with her stark-white face (which has two small slits for nostrils), hooves, and triangular-shaped ears, the insides of which are darkened. Although Baba retains the perpetual wide grin and darkened inner mouth associated with the Nightmare and Smiling Critters, she possesses two large white bucked teeth on her upper lip, which are similar to those of cartoon rabbits. A distinct black zipper traces down her center, showcasing a luminous silver human skull pendant. Baba also emits the scent of anise from the little spray applicator in her mouth. According to her character description, Baba Chops displays several characteristics of an angsty teenager. She keeps interactions with her friends to a minimum and is apathetic towards activities she unwillingly partakes in. She is also quite reclusive, spending most of her time in her house. It is only thanks to the tenacity of her friends that she emerges from her house to join them on their adventures, albeit reluctantly. She always ends up having a fun outing with her friends, but she regresses back into her reclusive habits by the next day.

The experiment version of Baba is also cunning in nature, using her darker color scheme (compared to her vibrant brethren) to blend into the darkened factory environment, hiding in plain sight. Her camouflage tactic allows her to stay close to her soon-to-be prey, who would be unable to detect her presence until it's too late.

Icky Licky is an anthropomorphic poison dart frog, characterized by black-and-yellow skin that complements his expressive black eyes, which (like the other Nightmare Critters) are furrowed in a permanent glare. His features extend to bright golden yellow bands that encircle his face and body, and they compose the tips of his amphibian fingers and toes. In line with the other Nightmare Critters (and the Smiling Critters), Icky sports a perpetual wide toothless grin, his inner mouth shrouded in mysterious darkness. A silver zipper line gracefully adorns his center, with the zipper sporting a black biohazard sign pendant encapsulated in a thick red outline. Icky also emits the scent of coffee from the little spray applicator in his mouth.

Icky Licky's cartoon appearance is roughly the same as his toy appearance, albeit with his zipper line removed, the addition of white pupils, and the zipper pendant now attached to a black necklace. According to his character description, Icky Licky is a sore loser with a hyper-competitive streak. He consistently challenges his friends to copious competitions - each different than the last - on a daily basis. Although he possesses natural talent, his arrogance eclipses said talent. It's this arrogant disposition which - when combined with his competitive persona - leads him to vastly underestimate his opponents, ultimately ending in his chronic defeat. Rather than conceding the loss to his opponent, he repeatedly assigns blame to events outside of his control, be it luck or getting dirt in his eyes (though his friends see through his excuses).

Allister Gator is an anthropomorphic alligator, characterized by chartreuse scales that complement his long reptilian tail and expressive black eyes, which (like the other Nightmare Critters) are furrowed into a permanent glare. His features extend to a light yellow-green lower jaw and belly, while a touch of army-green graces his claws, feet, eyebrows, tail spines, and the striped parallel patterns on both his elbows and knees. In line with the other Nightmare Critters (and the Smiling Critters), Allister sports a perpetual wide grin with a darkened inner mouth but possesses alligator teeth. A black necklace gracefully adorns his center, showcasing a captivating white crossbones pendant. Allister also emits a sandalwood scent from the little spray applicator in his mouth. According to his character description, Allister Gator is the slacker of the Nightmare Critters. He possesses a laid-back attitude and is often coerced by his friends to participate in activities, but he lacks drive and ambition. If given the chance, he would happily loaf off in a body of water and do nothing productive for a full 24 hours. He is a firm and devout believer of the philosophy: "Good things come to those who wait". The only time Allister puts effort into something is if his friends force him to.

Simon Smoke is an anthropomorphic dragon, characterized by light vermilion scales that complement his long reptilian tail, thin eyebrows, and expressive black eyes, which have triangular eyelashes and (like the other Nightmare Critters) are furrowed into a permanent glare. His features extend to white wing membranes, an underbelly, and ears (the insides of which are white), while a touch of crimson red graces his talons, mane, and wing bones. He houses yellow tail spikes and two curved horns, and he wears a yellow rectangular earring on his left ear. In line with the other Nightmare Critters (and the Smiling Critters), Simon sports a perpetual wide grin with a darkened inner mouth but possesses four white fangs on either side of his mouth. A black necklace gracefully adorns his center, showcasing a captivating yellow dollar sign pendant. Simon also emits the scent of wood smoke from the little spray applicator in his mouth. According to his character description, Simon Smoke is the popular critter of the Nightmare Critters. An egotistical, pompous individual, Simon frequently gloats about his numerous accomplishments or shows off to his friends. Staying popular and being number one in everything is what motivates and drives him in life. Rarely are his accomplishments matched or surpassed by anyone else's, further inflating his ego. It is this popularity that keeps the other Critters from discovering the truth: Simon is nothing more than a monstrous bully, one who has masked his true nature for years.

Poe is an anthropomorphic raven, characterized by a violet indigo plumage that complements their thin eyebrows and expressive black eyes, which (like the other Nightmare Critters) are furrowed into a permanent glare. Their features extend to a dark purple beak, belly, and hindlimbs. In line with the other Nightmare Critters (and the Smiling Critters), Poe sports a perpetual wide toothless grin, their inner mouth shrouded in mysterious darkness. A black necklace gracefully adorns their center, showcasing a captivating thundercloud pendant with a yellow lightning bolt emerging from the bottom. They also have feathers protruding from the back of their head, in addition to two feathers at the front forming a little short feather cut. Poe also emits a cinnamon scent from the little spray applicator in their mouth. According to their character description, Poe is the brooder of the Nightmare Critters. They are content with staying in darkness and abhor the sun's glaring existence, viewing it as merely "a cruel trick of nature". Poe is an introverted individual, preferring to keep to themselves, and they have a nocturnal nature. They possess a strong affinity for graveyards, as it is their favorite place to occupy their nights and listen to music. They are more comfortable surrounded by the dead than by the living, further adding to their brooding nature. Poe also suffers from anger issues, often feeling irate emotions with no discernible target or cause. All this very strongly implies that Poe is a member of the Goth subculture.

Additionally, Poe repeatedly insists that their nighttime routine is not a phase, implying their friends are not supportive of these late excursions.

Touille is an anthropomorphic rat, characterized by musty gray fur that complements his thin eyebrows and expressive black eyes, which (like the other Nightmare Critters) are furrowed into a permanent glare. His features extend to a light silver outer mouth and belly, while a touch of salmon pink graces his nose, tail, and the inside of his circular-shaped ears. (His left ear is slightly torn.) His hands and feet are a darker shade of gray. A black necklace gracefully adorns his center, showcasing a captivating sea-blue fish bone pendant. Touille also emits the scent of petrichor from the little spray applicator in his mouth.According to his Twitter description, Touille is the hoarder of the Nightmare Critters. A self-proclaimed "Trash Rodent", he frequents garbage disposals and other areas of waste to consume and obtain any junk he can get his little paws on. Beyond this unappealing lifestyle of his, Touille is a high-spirited chatterbox. Any chance he gets, he will contribute to a conversation. Unfortunately for him, his conversational skills are extremely inadequate. As a result, he can neither adapt to changing discussion topics nor add to an existing topic.

Maggie Mako is an anthropomorphic shark, characterized by turquoise skin that complements her thin eyebrows and expressive black eyes, which (like the other Nightmare Critters) are furrowed into a permanent glare. Her features extend to teal claws, feet, head fin, and tail (the upper portion of which contains a small triangular divot), while a touch of white graces her lower jaw, belly, and markings surrounding her eyes. In line with the other Nightmare Critters (and the Smiling Critters), Maggie sports a perpetual wide grin with a darkened inner mouth but possesses sharp triangular teeth. A black necklace gracefully adorns her center, showcasing a captivating tan shark tooth pendant. Maggie also emits the scent of chocolate from the little spray applicator in her mouth. According to her character description, Maggie Mako is the glutton of the Nightmare Critters. Her thoughts primarily revolve around her stomach, specifically its contents and whether or not it is full. Her highest levels of joy only blossom when she is gorging on food, and she is not finicky about her meals. Unfortunately, her eating habits consist mostly of sugary substances, as she possesses a serious sweet tooth. Maggie abhors vegetables and couldn't care less about healthy eating. In fact, she will openly mock anyone who attempts to give her advice on this topic.

Mister Demi has shoulder-length blunt white hair styled in a bob-cut. He has a pair of white pencils atop his head with a pair of small black horns, his left bang resembles a piano keyboard, he accessorizes with black glasses, and only his left eye is visible and it's light green though it appears as blue.

He sports a white collared puffy sleeved shirt, with black suspenders over it. An eighth note is present on the center of the shirt, and the left strap of the overalls has two white clips, accompanied by a belt. His upper arms are white with black stripes, whilst his forearms and hands are black, and his attire is finished with black pants and heeled boots. Not much is known about Mister Demi's personality, however, it can be emphasized that he is a nervous and alert person, though he is a kind teacher who ensures that students follow the rules.

Claire has a simple blunt bob cut hairstyle with a bow atop her head. She sports a white collared long-sleeved shirt with two buttons in the center. Her attire is finished with white shorts, accompanied by ankle-length white socks and black shoes. Claire was known for being a hard-working student who focused on her studies. She had a calm demeanor, but she could get annoyed easily by Zip, Edward, and Oliver's antics. Despite being a hard-working student, Claire also expressed anxiety when first entering Paper School. She was usually confiding in Engel, who was one of her friends, as shown on-screen in Basics in Behavior. Seemly, she is deceptively thoughtful when it comes to being desperate for an escape, as she was in full fear while running, but managed to encounter what she thought was the exit.

Δlice is a seemingly normal girl with short brown messy hair and tan skin with a pointed ahoge atop her head, a white princess tiara, and a black bow on the left side of her head. She sports a white collared desaturated blue-grey long-sleeved shirt with two white buttons, however, her sleeves appear to be damaged by tears. She wears a black necklace with a bronze transparent triangle crossed through by two lines on it.

Her attire is finished with a black tea-length skirt with a white waistband, white semicircle outline designs on the end with dots in between the semicircles, accompanied by white socks and black mary-janes. She appears to have a reddish scar on each leg. Partially Transformed

While Δlice‘s appearance mostly remains the same, part of her true form shows. Her clothes seem more tattered and ripped. She dons a tattered poncho with a brown patch appearing on the right side of the poncho with a rhombus symbol on it and a bandage wrapped around both of her sleeves. She still has a black bow but on the right side of her head. The white princess tiara changes to a black crown, and a strange red rash appears on the right side of her face. The top part of her face is obscured, thus only one eye is visible.

Six small black spikes poke out from behind her, one of them wrapped in a bandage. Her left leg is covered in three cuts and scars, and she appears to accessorize a black legcuff on her right ankle. Her black skirt has two brown patches with a rhombus and stitches. As seen in a few artworks, she also has a bandage wrapped around her chest. True Form

At the end of Basics in Behavior, Δlice is seen in her true form. She takes on a demonic appearance, pitch black and silhouetted with bright red scleras and black slit pupils. Six large black spikes poke out from behind her, and three long tendrils occasionally extend from her back.

She has long black claws, and she also has a long black tail. Additionally, she appears to grow in height, as depicted in official artwork where she is much taller than Oliver and Connor.Δlice is aggressive, willing to kill anyone who enters her room. This is seen in Basics in Behavior when Zip and Oliver disguise her room as an exit door to trick Claire. It is possible that Δlice is more dangerous than the teachers, due to how she's locked away and isolated in her room, with "DON'T ENTER" signs on the door. This could also be backed up by the three teachers’ reactions to Claire booking it to Δlice’s room, as they seem to show signs of fear.

She is seen being passive with Oliver in multiple official artworks,[3] indicating that she might only be nice to those who are close with her.

Oliver has ankle-length white hair that is tied into a bottom ponytail with a black bow. He has black horns and a red circled "A+" mark on the right side of his hair. He also has a large split ahoge atop his head. Additionally, his left arm is replaced with a pencil. Strangely, his tongue appears to be forked, similar to that of a snake.

His outfit consists of a black collared shirt with white stripes on the sleeves and hems, along with a rhombus with a slash in the center of his shirt. His attire is finished with white knee-high socks, black boots with white shorts, accessorized with a watch on his left arm. Like Zip and Edward, Oliver is described to be a bully to other students. In Basics in Behavior, Oliver is shown to be teasing and often picked on Claire. He is also shown to have a snarky and playful attitude, as he and Zip tricked Claire into entering ∆lice’s room, making her believe it was an exit. Whether or not he intended for Claire to die, he appears to be sociopathic, as he took his prank so far as to let someone die.

He also appears to be madly in love with ∆lice, despite her violent, cannibalistic, cruel actions and even joins in on her.[2] Oliver also appears to be rather violent and has little to no care for his health, as he eats non-edible things, some of which are harmful to him, such as razor blades and soap.[3]

Additionally, Oliver is implied to like drawing in his free time, as shown at the start of Basics in Behavior, where multiple drawings of the other students and teachers in a notebook can be seen, such as Riley, Zip, ∆lice, Miss Circle, and Oliver himself. Oliver also appears to be a bit arrogant, calling himself handsome in the same notebook. Furthermore, he is seen drawing with Connor in an official artwork.

Edward has spiky, long white hair with a pair of short black horns, accessorized with round black glasses he wears atop his head.

He has black arms and legs, pointy fingers, and a black twisted imp tail. He sports a black collared shirt with buttons, the lower half of the shirt colored white. His attire is finished with big black boots. It is seen in Basics in Behavior that Edward is one of the bullies of Paper School, alongside Zip and Oliver. He appears to be very creative and innovative, as he made a drone to grab Claire and throw her down the pit in the library. He likely has an interest in science, hence an official artwork depicting Edward with a beaker.

Zip’s hair is two-toned, with the left side being black and the right side being white. The longer part of her hair is tied into a low ponytail. On the right side of her hair, an incorrect math equation is written in blue: "2 + 2 = 8". Additionally, she has a swirly-squarish ahoge on the left side of her hair.

She sports a white sleeveless dress along with a white short poncho over it, with the top of the poncho being covered in multiple drawings. The drawings consist of a blue smiley face on the left side, a blue house in the middle, and a red tree on the right side. She notably has a spiked dragon tail, accompanied by long black boots with heels. In her reference sheet, she holds a paper airplane.

Notably, Zip is seen wearing pirate accessories, more specifically a pirate hat and a hook, probably because she likes pirates like her younger brother. Alongside Oliver and Edward, Zip is known to be a bully who causes trouble and often bullies other students. She is seen hanging around with Oliver and Edward, constantly picking on Claire. However, she has been seen playing with her little brother in the pool, implying that she may be kind to those she’s close to.

Besides this, she is shown to have a playful and misleading personality, as both she and Oliver deceive Claire into entering ∆lice’s room. As stated, she seemly doesn’t like really gross stuff, such as Oliver taking his heart out.

He has shoulder-length white hair. For attire, he wears a white cloak with a zipper at the top. He also wears a large fish accessory on the back of his head. Zip's Little Brother enjoys playing pirates with his older sister, as seen when he and Zip ride a pirate ship through the school's pool. As Zip's Little Brother never had a confirmed name, the fandom often calls him Chip.

Mister Compass is built solidly with an exceptionally tall, albeit somewhat narrow frame. He has shoulder-length black hair with black horns and cyan scleras with slit black pupils. For his tops, he dons a black button-up shirt with a white collar and white pants. His forearms are black with pointed sharp fingers.

His second appearance has his eyes dyed soft cyan, presumably due to people constantly mistaking him for Miss Circle as they look almost identical to each other, the only difference being their hair. Compass Form

Mister Compass can transform into a supersized mathematical compass, which can be used either for teaching or killing students. The compass' head is black with two compass legs: one is a retractable needle while the other holds a large pencil. The head's hinge is a Mister Compass' eye. The compass head can be connected to Miss Circle's stub to serve as her left forearm. Mister Compass may be as cruel as Miss Circle since he helped her murder the students who failed her class. Though he sometimes fights with her, mostly about snacks, he seems to be loyal to her; the two are always together

Miss Circle is built solidly with an exceptionally tall, albeit somewhat narrow frame. She has very long spiky black hair that extends past her knees. Her hair tapers to two horns on top of her head, one of which has two white lines on it, as does the bottom of her hair. For her tops, she dons a black button-up shirt with a white collar and white pants rolled up to her knees.

She also sports tall black boots with three laces near the bottom. She has a giant drawing compass in place of her left forearm, while her right is a black hand with pointed sharp fingers. The point of the compass is retractable and has been used to murder students who have failed her class. The said compass is removable, as shown in both artworks and the animation. Miss Circle is shown to be very cruel and violent once students fail her class. She shows no mercy towards students who fail in her class, killing them. She is also known to play favorites, such as Zip, Oliver, and Edward.[3] However, she still makes sure they follow the rules, as she scolds Zip and Oliver for tricking Claire.

Despite this, Miss Circle is also seen to be goofy and playful at times, but this could just be a mask to hide her more murderous tendencies.

Lana appeared to be semi-pale grey-skinned with long grey hair that was tied up in a ponytail, with a curved cowlick. Like various characters, she lacked a neck, thus her head floating. She wore sock puppets on both of her arms, both of which had googly eyes.

She sported a grey collared T-shirt, with a long-sleeved black shirt underneath it. She also wore dark grey pants with black hemming. Notably, her pants had a few stitches around her knee and hip dips. Her attire is finished with black shoes. Lana is implied to have been one of the least smartest, having a hard time understanding the material. Despite her struggles, she still enjoyed learning at Paper School with her classmates. Especially Abbie; who, like her, had trouble when it came to academics.

Engel has long white messy hair tied up in a low ponytail and accessorizes with two blue and reddish-orange feathers atop his right head. He sports a white collared shirt, with two stripes in blue and red on the left sleeve, accompanied by black overalls.

This is shown in Basics in Behavior when he befriends Claire and then later is willing to risk his life to save her from Miss Circle.

Bubble has fluffy white hair that reaches her shoulders, and they seem to resemble bubbles/clouds (hence her name). She lacks a head and mouth, and her eyes are half blue (bottom) and half black (top part) with white star-shaped pupils. She accessorizes a pale yellow duck and blue toothbrush atop her "head".

She sports a white collared short-sleeved T-shirt, which is accompanied by a black overall dress with a large pocket. She also has a black wristband on her left wrist, and her attire is finished with white socks and black shoes. She also appears to have a large, white fluffy tail that appears to look like bubbles. Bubble appears to be rather empathetic and kind. She is one of Claire and Engel’s friends. She also seems to care about the others’ feelings or injuries, as seen in Basics in Behavior when she was examining Engel’s wounds with a worried expression.

Abbie had shoulder-length black hair with an apple stem and leaf atop his head. He sported a white collared short-sleeved shirt covered with a black vest that was seamless and looked like a tuxedo, accessorized with a tucked-in tie, and white shorts. His attire was finished with white socks and black shoes. His eyes were just small slit-like black pupils. In his reference sheet, tears were pricking his eyes, and he was seemly sweating slightly. Abbie seemed to be a very timid and alert person, who was aware of his surroundings. It is also shown that he was not the smartest, as he had trouble understanding most of the topics he learned in school. He was also quite anxious, can be seen nervously holding his arm in the hallway and another example is shaking in his seat even before being confronted about his failing grade by Miss Circle. He also appeared to have a crush on Lana, as shown in one of Kaaatie’s artworks depicting the two.

Cubbie is an anthropomorphic black cat with a pencil sharpener as a replacement for a torso. His tail resembles a long-curved pencil shaving. He lacks a neck, therefore his head floats. What appears to be an open book rests on the top of his torso. He has large eyes with big black pupils. Cubbie's personality remains largely unknown, other than the small amount of info Kaaatie gave in one of her deleted community posts on YouTube. Cubbie is a nerd, but he is friendly when he isn’t bothered a lot.

Petunia is an anthropomorphic animal with white long, white ears and a fluffy tail. She has knee-length white hair and accessorizes with a crown atop her head. She sports a black collared shirt and white shorts.

To finish her attire, she wears a black band on her left ankle. Petunia is known as the popular girl in the class, along with her friend Lizzy. She is kind and friendly, but can be rather rude when provoked. She likes to take selfies with Lizzy and cares about her appearance.

Petunia does not like swimming classes, thus preferring to talk to Lizzy instead of participating in the class.

A pastel-colored rainbow is at the center of the overalls. Her attire is finished with pastel-colored leg warmers and black shoes. Her limbs are black, however, her wrists are white. She also appears to have a black plug for a tail.

Ruby is presumably very tall, as seen when she is being yelled at by Riley, completely towering over her. Based on the things written on Miss Bloomie's board in her classroom, it can also be assumed that the students are in high school, making Ruby's height even more astonishing. This is most evident in the scene of Miss Circle's classroom where he is seated at a table, towering over every student except for Ruby, who is practically the same height as him. Skell appears to be a quiet and introverted person, who prefers solitude. Despite his calm personality, he may get chaotic at times. But, he is friendly towards those he is close to. Seemly, he appears to be boringly deprived, hence him wielding a phone.

Miss Thavel has paper-white skin with large black claw-like hands. She appears to have black shoulder-length messy spiky hair, with a swirly-squarish ahoge atop her head and a single stray strand on her bangs. In this form, the letter blocks on her head are replaced with wendigo antlers, she gains a deer-like tail, and her attire is more tattered and ripped. Her arms and legs also appear to gain a furry texture of sorts, alongside gaining what seems to be marks or scars in the legs. Miss Thavel may seem like a regular teacher, but behind her demeanor is a cruel and sadistic woman. Like her colleagues, she is willing to punish her students severely for failing classes. Every student is afraid of her, just like Miss Circle and Miss Bloomie.

As shown in official artwork, Miss Thavel sometimes prefers to be alone, the reason is relatively unknown

Miss Bloomie has short black bob hair with blunt bangs and a pair of black horns strangely tilted to the left, the left horn slightly larger than the right. Her left forearm is replaced with a blade resembling a giant box cutter, while her right is a white hand with pointed fingers. Notably, she has a forked tongue, similar to that of a snake. Miss Bloomie seems to be a normal teacher at first glance, but this façade drops when a student fails her class. She is a strict and feared teacher who—like Miss Circle and Miss Thavel—is willing to punish her failing students by killing them. Unlike the other teachers, she is somewhat less reckless.

Miss Emily has black afro hair tied into two low pigtails, a black puffy tail, and black horns. She is the only dark-skinned character out of all the teachers, however, her hands are black with sharp fingers.

Her outfit consists of rectangular-rimmed glasses, a white blouse with two black buttons, black hems on the sleeves, and a black skirt with five white spots.
