Miss Thavel: A high-energy gym or languages teacher who is protective and motherly toward her students.

Miss Bloomie: The "short but stern" science teacher who is actually very gentle and helps students with their projects.

The "Bullies" (Oliver, Zip, Edward): In the Soft AU, they are usually just mischievous pranksters rather than mean-spirited. They mostly pull harmless jokes like "kick me" signs or hiding backpacks.

The Background Crew: Characters like Skell, Ruby, and Kevin are just different cliques (goths, techies, etc.) who all get along during lunch.

Δlice (Alice): Instead of a terrifying monster in a room of gore, Alice is often portrayed as a "cool, edgy" older student or a mysterious, quiet girl who hangs out in the library. She and Oliver have a wholesome, "opposites attract" crush.
