Neco arc is a comedic parody version of Arcueid Brunestud, the main heroine of the visual novel Tsukihime. Originally appearing as a joke character in the "Teach Me, Ciel-sensei!" hint corners, she eventually became a playable mascot in the Melty Blood fighting game series an joke character. She is a "Spirit" or "Cat-Spirit" from the Great Cat's Village, a pocket dimension filled with similar cat-like entities. While she looks like a tiny version of Arcueid, she is a separate entity with her own bizarre logic. She possesses Reality Warping powers on a comedic scale. In Melty Blood, she can summon lasers, fire missiles, call upon other cats, and even transform into a giant version of herself. Her movements are erratic, making her a "joke tier" character that is intentionally difficult and chaotic to play. She is arrogant, fourth-wall-breaking, and cynical. She often mocks the serious tone of the Tsukihime universe and speaks in a distinctive, high-pitched voice (often ending sentences with "nya" or the iconic "Burunyuu"), Despite being a side character, she became an internet phenomenon due to her "Pilk" (Pepsi and milk) memes and her absurdist design, making her more recognizable to many people than the actual main cast of the series. She's the most detailed cause she's the goat.
