In this universe, Earth was invaded by an alternate version of itself, where everything, including its inhabitants, is made of paper. The invading society, a massive xenophobic empire known as the Paperfolk Empire, is home to a unique species with distinct traits from humans—white, paper-like skin, towering heights of six to nine feet, enhanced abilities beyond normal humans, and hybrid variants, such as walking cats or robots, all sharing these same features.

The Paperfolk Empire had arrived through an artificial portal of their own creation, inadvertently discovering our world years before their eventual invasion. During this time, they remained concealed, though certain governments began to notice irregularities and launched investigations into suspicious activities, ultimately closing their cases upon finding no conclusive evidence. Observing our abundant resources and a species marked by internal divisions, as well as the potential for integration into Paperfolk society, they resolved to strike. Their invasion was swift and decisive, employing a blitzkrieg strategy across all major continents, compelling unconditional surrenders through the superiority of their advanced military forces and technology.

|Main Factions|

-The Paperfolk Empire-

The Paperfolk Empire is an invading power from an alternate “paper” universe. It is a vast, highly organized, and fiercely xenophobic civilization in which every aspect—people, technology, architecture, flora, fauna, and even biology—is composed of paper-like materials. In their native reality, all life and innovation evolved or was engineered around a paper-based existence. What humans recognize as “paper” serves as their fundamental building block—versatile, renewable, and capable of supporting advanced technology through intricate folding, layering, specialized inks, and potentially exotic physics unique to their universe. Their society is rigidly hierarchical, disciplined, and expansionist, upholding ideals of order, efficiency, and purity of form. Internal dissent is negligible; loyalty to the Empire and its leadership is near absolute. The structure likely includes a strict caste or rank system, an advanced bureaucracy, and a culture that reveres precision, massive-scale origami-like engineering, and holds deep contempt for “flesh” or the perceived chaos of organic life. When invading territories, they will utilized the already built infrastructure and will not built new structures. They will built new structures, but in small amounts.

-The Delta Clique-

The Delta Clique is a faction of hostile demonic hybrid paperfolk rogues operating under the command of Δlice, with the objective of controlling both dimensions under her rule as a authoritarian regime, similar to WW2 Germany's goals but more extreme. Distinguishing features include black clothing, military uniforms with maroon stripes, Maroon bulletproof vests, masks, and insignia bearing a maroon uppercase Delta symbol. They are hostile to both the Paperfolk, and especially to the human Rebels.

Their Leader, Δlice, leads the group. She is a seemingly normal woman with short brown messy hair and tan skin with a pointed ahoge atop her head and black spiky crown with two black piercing on her ears. She wears a long black trench coat with a black leather belt and a pendant in the shape of a maroon Uppercase Delta sign. Under her skirt is a dagger that fits tightly to her leg with a belt. She also wears black leggings and long black boots with pointed heels. She is a hybrid demon. In her second form, while Alice‘s appearance mostly remains the same, part of her true form shows. However, her clothes appears to be tattered by tears on the skirt’s hem, with a two spikes at her ankle. A six large black spikes poke out from behind her, with long black claws, and she also has a long black tail. She also have bright yellow scleras and black slit pupils.

-Beastmen Tribal Confederation-

The B.T.C is a tribal made up of hybrid paperfolk, like werewolves and others, that came through the portal and claimed the northern forests and tundra's of Earth, for example, like northern Canada, Russia and Alaska. They use primitive weapons and modern weapons, but often preferring their enhanced abilites and brute strength. They have a highly hierarchical system and they build new primitive structures in cities, but mostly retain the original occupied city's structures. They are xenophobic and are against human resistances, Paperfolk Empire and the Delta Clique.

Their leader, the Nameless Werewolf, is female hybrid werewolf. The Nameless Werewolf has long bedraggled black hair, with a pair of black horns atop her head. Her face is obscured, and bandages cover her mouth. Like most characters, she lacks a neck. She sports a black coat, with fluff alongside the inside of the coat, accompanied by bloody bandages that cover her chest. She accessorizes a belt with black pants, rolled up to her knees. Her legs are covered in bandages, and her knees and hands are stained with blood. Her pants are frayed, as is her sleeves. She has a long black tail, and black animal paws for feet and legs. Both of her paws have sharp nails. And her right hand is holding a bloody stake.

-Baphomet's Hellish Legion-

the B.H.L is a demonic paperfolk hybrid horde like cult based around the supposed return of 'Satan.' They're fanatical satanists armed with Paperfolk Empire equipment. they hide in forests and always raid the Paperfolk Empire and religious sites against their beliefs. They are hierarchical and xenophobic. They are against the B.T.C, The Delta Clique, Paperfolk Empire, and human resistance groups.

Their leader, Baphomet, is a demonic paperfolk hybrid. Baphomet resembles a black goat with animal ears, a pointed white snout, and black horns. He has blue ring earrings and sports a black tuxedo, accessorized with a black bow tie and blue flower. His attire is finished with a black belt, accompanied by matching pants. He appears to also have hooves and a small white tail. he appears to be rather calm and collected in most situations. Hes 8'2 feet tall.

|Human Resistances|

-North American Resistance-

The N.A.R is a coalition of Canadian, Mexican, and American resistance groups fighting against the Paperfolk Empire and the Delta Clique. They mainly operate from small towns, remote outposts, and hidden camps scattered across the North American wilderness. Their gear includes old-world insignia and uniforms from the fallen nations, along with stolen Paperfolk weapons and vintage armaments. For now, they rely on guerrilla tactics to strike at the empire.

-The European Liberation Front-

The E.L.F is a coalition of exiled human governments and separatist factions from various E.U. nations, waging war against the Paperfolk Empire and the Delta Clique. Their arsenal is a mix of old-world gear and stolen Paperfolk equipment, including weapons. They operate mostly in Europe in the high mountain ranges, remote islands, and a few captured towns, relying heavily on guerrilla tactics to strike their enemies.

-The Russian Liberation Army-

The R.L.A is a Russian human resistance group formed from the Russian military, fighting against the Paperfolk Empire and the Delta Clique. Their arsenal combines old-world gear with stolen Paperfolk weapons and equipment. They set up camps in the Siberian wilderness and the Ural Mountains, relying on guerrilla warfare to strike their enemies.

-Second United Chinese Front-

The S.U.C.F is a group made up of Chinese Warlords, Communists, and Nationalists from areas in China and Taiwan (R.O.C). They use outdated war gear and stolen Paperfolk equipment, setting up secret bases in deserts, forests, and mountain ranges. They fight the Paperfolk Empire and the Delta Clique through guerrilla tactics.

-Holy Army of The Greater Islamic Caliphate-

The Holy Army of the Greater Islamic Caliphate is a militant revolutionary group that controls parts of various Islamic nations, mainly in the Middle East. They are extreme religious zealots and openly hostile toward the Paperfolk Empire, the Delta Clique, and any factions that don’t share their beliefs. They rely on outdated military gear and are fiercely xenophobic.

-United African Resistance-

The U.A.R is an African resistance group made up of exiled governments, separatist groups and terrorist located in sparse parts of the African Continent. They use old war equipment and stolen Paperfolk equipment. They are against the Paperfolk Empire and Delta Clique,

|Main Characters|

-Chief Administrator/ Seargent Grace-

Chief Administrator Grace serves as the appointed leader of a city or town, holding ultimate authority over all matters. Her decisions determine the fate of its citizens, overseeing everything from law enforcement to civil services, and taking direct orders from top generals when necessary. She is distinguished by a black cap bearing the Empire’s logo, with one broken horn and the other protruding from beneath her hat. Her attire consists of a long black trench coat and high black heels. Known as Sergeant Grace, she is a strict yet fair leader—serious, cold, and a meticulous analyst intolerant of mistakes. Standing 6’2” tall, she has yellow sclera with black pupils. Her exceptional abilities include inhuman strength, inhuman speed, high intellect, incredible reflexes, and extraordinary agility. She has her own Security Force, which aids in suppressing rebellion and other tasks against enemies

-Flame-Trooper Circle-

Circle is a prominent member of Grace's security forces, distinguished by her formidable presence and imposing stature. Standing approximately 9'7" tall, she is a muscular woman with very long, spiky hair adorned with black horns, one of which bears two white lines, as does the lower section of her hair. Like several other Paperfolk, she has no visible neck, which is concealed along with half of her body by a large yellow fleece scarf. She wears red protective glasses to shield her eyes from hot particles and the intense heat generated by her flamethrower. She has a yellow and black pupils. One of her hands is bandaged due to a bullet wound, while her right palm remains gloved to cover extensive burn scars on her clawed paw. A golden tooth replaces one she lost during her time in prison. Her attire includes tall black combat boots secured with belts. Replacing her left hand is a massive flamethrower extending from her forearm. This flamethrower is detachable and requires periodic refueling. Known for her cruelty and violent tendencies, she has been seen harshly reprimanding locals. Before the invasion, Circle served time in prison. At 41 years old, she possesses extraordinary attributes, including inhuman strength, inhuman agility, height manipulation, high intellect, and the ability to wield her detachable flamethrower hand with lethal efficiency.

-Demolition Specialist Thavel-

Thavel is the second member of Grace’s security forces, specializing in demolition and occasionally tasked with clearing debris and obstacles. She experiences psychosis and anxiety, which can lead to unpredictable behavior. Due to hearing difficulties, she often speaks loudly. Thavel’s attire consists of a long yellow dress with a high collar and long sleeves, complemented by a tactical belt carrying bundles of dynamite. She wears an explosive belt and a radar device draped over her shoulder. Her distinctive features include yellow sclera with black pupils, explosives adorning her hair, and a walkie-talkie attached to her head for communication with Grace and other team members. After spending three years in prison with her companions, Thavel lost her loyalty and developed a more reckless yet optimistic demeanor, sometimes becoming disoriented in her surroundings. She struggles to control her emotions, occasionally shouting at locals or security personnel. Standing around seven feet tall, she possesses inhuman speed, exceptional intellect, and fluency in many languages.

-Special Ops Bloomie-

Bloomie is a formidable member of Grace’s security forces and a highly skilled assassin. She has short black hair with blunt bangs, accented by a pair of black horns, and only her right yellow eye is visible from view. Her hair is tied into a choppy bun secured with marking tape. She wears a fitted, formal black trench coat with silver buttons, the sleeves resembling the appearance of her steel-sharp legs. Her left hand is an AK-47, making her a lethal force in close or ranged combat. Cold-blooded and cruel, she rarely entertains humor during her workday. Possessing inhuman strength, agility, speed, high intellect, extraordinary reaction time, and extensive martial arts training, Bloomie stands at an imposing six and a half feet tall.

-Military Mechanic Sasha-

Sasha is a member of Grace's security forces, serving as both an auto mechanic and engineer. Passionate about her work, she primarily repairs vehicles and equipment. She wears a red army beret atop her hair and a yellow jumpsuit. In place of a pupil in one eye, there is a gear, and she wears brown construction gloves on her hands. A subtle yellow blush colors her cheeks. Standing at approximately six feet tall, she possesses exceptional engineering skills.

-Military Sapper Demi-

Demi is a dedicated member of Grace's security forces, excelling as a sapper with exceptional reaction time. He is distinguished by shoulder-length white hair, accented with a pair of orange bullets atop his head, and small black horns. His yellow glasses shield his eyes from splinters and debris, while a warm scarf resembling marking tape drapes around his neck. Beneath it, he wears a bulletproof vest and protective hand pads. Gentle and understanding by nature, Demi seeks to find something meaningful in each day, driven by the belief that any day could be his last. He often assists Sasha in carrying heavy spare parts for tanks, a testament to his selfless desire to help others, though it occasionally takes a toll on him. Talented and kind, Demi stands approximately six feet tall.

-Field Medic Emily-

Emily is a member of Grace's security forces, serving as both a medic and a tactical medical specialist. Dedicated to maintaining the health of her team, she is known for her kindness, loyalty, and readiness to provide first aid when needed. She has black afro-textured hair styled into two low pigtails, a black puffy tail, and black horns. Emily is the only dark-skinned member of the group, with notably black hands. Her attire consists of a long white trench coat featuring a yellow triangle design on the chest, complemented by a dark leather belt and a tactical bag slung over her shoulder. She wears a black and yellow bandana from which her two dark horns protrude. Standing about six feet tall, Emily is a highly capable and dependable medic within the force.

His attire consists of a black suit with a high collar and matching trousers. Draped over one shoulder is a fragment of the yellow and black SF flag, which he tore down in protest against Grace. Known for his ruthless and at times cruel demeanor, he has earned the reputation of being a bully. He's about six feet tall. and skilled sniper. He has relationship with Δlice, which reinforces his mentioned tendency to not follow orders. His love for Δlice is endless, which is why he still loves her incredibly much and breaks the rules for her sake.

-Engineering Assistant Edward-

Edward is a junior member of the security forces, standing approximately six feet tall. He has long, spiky white hair complemented by a pair of short black horns, and he wears a red bucket-style fisher hat adorned with the school logo. His attire consists of practical, comfortable summer clothing, including a red shirt layered with a yellow jacket that bears a resemblance to a Hawaiian style, along with knee-high red boots. A distinctive black, bent imp tail adds to his unique appearance. Serving as an assistant to Sasha, Edward is also regarded by others as a bully.

The longer portion is tied into a low ponytail, and the right side of her head bears a yellow Danger/8 symbol. She wears protective yellow glasses, a black army field cape, and a scarf adorned with marking tape, paired with high black boots. Abbie is a junior member of the security forces with shoulder-length black hair, distinguished by a danger symbol on the top of his head accompanied by a strand of yellow beside it. He wears a black turtleneck sweater with rolled sleeves on each arm and a white-and-black striped tape around one elbow, paired with black pants and black shoes. Bubble is a junior member of the security forces. Bubble has fluffy white hair that reaches her shoulders. She has no face, nor facial features, besides her eyes, which are yellow with triangle-shaped pupils. She accessorizes a yellow and black marking tape and “!” symbol atop her head. She wears a black warm sweater and bright yellow palazzo pants. Bubble appears to be rather empathetic and kind. She seems to be the introvert type, quiet and reserved.

-Rifleman Lana-

Lana is a junior member of the security forces. Lana appeared to be semi-pale grey-skinned with long grey hair that was tied up in a ponytail, with a curved cowlick. Like various characters, she lacked a neck thus her head floating. She has glove like sock puppets on her hands that still allow her to handle items normally. She sports a grey collared tactical sweater, with a tactical shirt over it. She also wore dark grey cargo pants. Notably, her pants had a few stitches around her knee and hip dips. Her attire is finished with black boots. Lana is implied to have been one of the least smartest. She has tactical gear, but uses it in dangerous situations

Petunia is a junior member of the security forces. Petunia is an anthropomorphic animal with long, white ears and a short, round fluffy tail. She has knee-length white hair and accessorizes with a crown atop her head. She sports a black tactical shorts and and black cargo pants with tactical gear in hand. To finish her attire, she wears a Yellow band on her left ankle. Petunia is known as the popular girl in the force. Along with her friend Lizzy. She is kind and friendly, but can be rather rude when provoked. She likes to take selfies with Lizzy and cares about her appearance.

Lizzy is a junior member of the security forces. Lizzy has medium-length black hair tied into low twin tails with two white ribbons. She has black horns and a white crown with a small spiral atop her head. She sports a black tactical sweater and cargo pants with the usual tactical gear. To finish her attire, she wears black boots. Lizzy is nice and friendly, but when provoked, she can be rude. She enjoys spending time with her friend, Petunia.

-Expert Technical Hacker Kevin-

Kevin is a junior member of the security forces. He has black hair tied up in a braid, along with black horns and a swirl ahoge. He has a white book atop his head, and he wears black round glasses. He sports a black tactical sweater with gear, accompanied by black cargo pants. To finish his attire, Kevin wears white socks and black boots. He can often be seen holding important info or a important device. Kevin appears to spend most of his time working. Despite his isolated personality, he can be friendly when unprovoked.

Cubbie is a junior member of the security forces. Cubbie is an anthropomorphic black cat with a pencil sharpener as a replacement for a torso. He uses a tactical sweater and gear to cover it, he also wears tactical cargo pants. His tail resembles a long-curved pencil shaving. He lacks a neck, therefore his head floats. What appears to be an open book rests on the top of his torso. He has large eyes with big black pupils. he is friendly when he isn’t bothered a lot.

-Mechanical Engineer Robby-

Robby is a junior member of the security forces. Robby has anatomy similar to a stick figure, with lanky black limbs. He has black fluffy hair with a tactical bucket helm. He also accessorizes with black glasses. Like most members, he lacks a neck. He sports a tactical sweater, with a tactical vest. He also has three claw-like fingers, and his attire is finished with black boots. he is seen sometimes wielding a grey wrench. Robby is an ordinary member among the forces, who is quite attentive to learning. However, it seems that he can be chaotic at times. It can also be noted that he may like building stuff, as he wields a wrench.

-Special Agent/Infiltrator Riley-

Riley is a junior member of the security forces. Riley’s anatomy is similar to a stick figure, with thin black arms and legs, with a blocky torso. She has long white hair, tied into a ponytail with a black bow. She sports a black tactical sweater, with tactical gear and protection. Her attire is finished with black boots. She also appears to have a short black pointed tail. She wields a black combat knife in her left hand. Riley seems to be a maniac, as she has a crazy demeanor. She appears to be chaotic as well, often seen wielding a knife. Additionally, she appears to have an obsessive crush on Oliver, going as far as to cling to him.

Ruby is a junior member of the security forces. Ruby has a white flat-screen monitor for her head. Her black monitor displays box-shaped eyes, eyebrows, a mouth, and cheeks, all of which are colored light orange. Her hair is blonde and knee-length. She also has two black horns, with a orange arch in between them, accessorized with a orange bow. Ruby’s torso is in the shape of a cone, and her arms are blocky. She sports a black tactical sweater with a tactical vest over it. Her attire is finished with black cargo pants and boots. Her limbs are black, however, her wrists are white. She also appears to have a black plug for a tail. Ruby is a kind and sweet girl, She makes sure everyone is following the rules.

-Special Agent/Infiltrator Skell-

Skell is a junior member of the security forces. Skell has shoulder-length black hair with black horns, the left one having two white stripes. Unlike the others, Skell has a torso that makes it look like a tactical shirt, with a vest and fur around the bottom and top. He wears tactical gear and a skeleton pin in his hair. He appears to have one visible wing, accompanied by a black tail. His feet and fingers are pointed, and his limbs are similar to a stick figure. In his reference sheet, he wields a grey phone with a few swirls around him. Lastly, he is one of the tallest 'junior' members of the forces. Skell appears to be a quiet and introverted person, who prefers solitude. Despite his calm personality, he may get chaotic at times. But, he is friendly towards those he is close to. Seemly, he appears to be boringly deprived, hence him wielding a phone.
