Claire is the main protagonist of Basics in Behavior, and a character featured in Fundamental Paper Education. She was a Paper School attendee. Claire has a simple blunt bob cut hairstyle with a bow atop her head. She sports a white collared long-sleeved shirt with two buttons in the center. Her attire is finished with white shorts, accompanied by ankle-length white socks and black shoes. Claire was known for being a hard-working student who focused on her studies. She had a calm demeanor, but she could get annoyed easily by Zip, Edward, and Oliver's antics. Despite being a hard-working student, Claire also expressed anxiety when first entering Paper School. She was usually confiding in Engel, who was one of her friends, as shown on-screen in Basics in Behavior. Seemly, she is deceptively thoughtful when it comes to being desperate for an escape, as she was in full fear while running, but managed to encounter what she thought was the exit. Probably vaguely knows how to use a gun. Is a carrier and thus cannot be infected.
Engel is a character featured in Fundamental Paper Education, serving as the deuteragonist of the music video Basics in Behavior. He attends Paper School as a student. Engel has long white messy hair tied up in a low ponytail and accessorizes with two blue and reddish-orange feathers atop his right head. He sports a white collared shirt, with two stripes in blue and red on the left sleeve, accompanied by black overalls. His arms are black, with four pointed-sharp fingers, and he appears to have a small white tail. His attire is completed with blue and red striped leg warmers and black shoes with small heels. Engel Is a kind and caring person who Is willing to go to extreme measures to protect those he cares for. This is shown in Basics in Behavior when he befriends Claire and then later is willing to risk his life to save her from Miss Circle. Probably better off with a melee weapon. Is a carrier and thus cannot be infected.
Lana was a character in Fundamental Paper Education, and she was a Paper School attendee. Lana appeared to be semi-pale grey-skinned with long grey hair that was tied up in a ponytail, with a curved cowlick. Like various characters, she lacked a neck, thus her head floating. She wore sock puppets on both of her arms, both of which had googly eyes. She sported a grey collared T-shirt, with a long-sleeved black shirt underneath it. She also wore dark grey pants with black hemming. Notably, her pants had a few stitches around her knee and hip dips. Her attire is finished with black shoes. Lana is implied to have been one of the least smartest, having a hard time understanding the material. Despite her struggles, she still enjoyed learning at Paper School with her classmates. Especially Abbie; who, like her, had trouble when it came to academics. No clue how to work a gun. Is a carrier and thus cannot be infected.
Abbie was a character featured in Fundamental Paper Education. He was a Paper School attendee and he was part of the group of good students. Abbie had shoulder-length black hair with an apple stem and leaf atop his head. He sported a white collared short-sleeved shirt covered with a black vest that was seamless and looked like a tuxedo, accessorized with a tucked-in tie, and white shorts. His attire was finished with white socks and black shoes. His eyes were just small slit-like black pupils. In his reference sheet, tears were pricking his eyes, and he was seemly sweating slightly. Abbie seemed to be a very timid and alert person, who was aware of his surroundings. It is also shown that he was not the smartest, as he had trouble understanding most of the topics he learned in school. He was also quite anxious, can be seen nervously holding his arm in the hallway and another example is shaking in his seat even before being confronted about his failing grade by Miss Circle. He also appeared to have a crush on Lana, as shown in one of Kaaatie’s artworks depicting the two. Probably doesnt trust himself with a gun. Is a carrier and thus cannot be infected.
Oliver is the main antagonist of the now-cancelled, Fundamental Paper Education, serving as the secondary antagonist of it's non-canon pilot, Basics in Behavior. He also appeared in a big number of official artworks. Oliver is ∆lice’s childhood friend and boyfriend. Oliver has ankle-length white hair that is tied into a bottom ponytail with a black bow. He has black horns and a red circled "A+" mark on the right side of his hair. He also has a large split ahoge atop his head. Additionally, his left arm is replaced with a pencil. Strangely, his tongue appears to be forked, similar to that of a snake. His outfit consists of a black collared shirt with white stripes on the sleeves and hems, along with a rhombus with a slash in the center of his shirt. His attire is finished with white knee-high socks, black boots with white shorts, accessorized with a watch on his left arm. Like Zip and Edward, Oliver is described to be a bully to other students. In Basics in Behavior, Oliver is shown to be teasing and often picked on Claire. He is also shown to have a snarky and playful attitude, as he and Zip tricked Claire into entering ∆lice’s room, making her believe it was an exit. Whether or not he intended for Claire to die, he appears to be sociopathic, as he took his prank so far as to let someone die. He also appears to be madly in love with ∆lice, despite her violent, cannibalistic, cruel actions and even joins in on her. Oliver also appears to be rather violent and has little to no care for his health, as he eats non-edible things, some of which are harmful to him, such as razor blades and soap. Additionally, Oliver is implied to like drawing in his free time, as shown at the start of Basics in Behavior, where multiple drawings of the other students and teachers in a notebook can be seen, such as Riley, Zip, ∆lice, Miss Circle, and Oliver himself. Oliver also appears to be a bit arrogant, calling himself handsome in the same notebook. Furthermore, he is seen drawing with Connor in an official artwork. Probably immediately wants guns despite not knowing how to use one. Is a carrier and thus cannot be infected.
Zip is a major antagonist featured in Fundamental Paper Education. She is a student who attends Paper School. Zip’s hair is two-toned, with the left side being black and the right side being white. The longer part of her hair is tied into a low ponytail. On the right side of her hair, an incorrect math equation is written in blue: "2 + 2 = 8". Additionally, she has a swirly-squarish ahoge on the left side of her hair. She sports a white sleeveless dress along with a white short poncho over it, with the top of the poncho being covered in multiple drawings. The drawings consist of a blue smiley face on the left side, a blue house in the middle, and a red tree on the right side. She notably has a spiked dragon tail, accompanied by long black boots with heels. In her reference sheet, she holds a paper airplane. Notably, Zip is seen wearing pirate accessories, more specifically a pirate hat and a hook, probably because she likes pirates like her younger brother. Alongside Oliver and Edward, Zip is known to be a bully who causes trouble and often bullies other students. She is seen hanging around with Oliver and Edward, constantly picking on Claire. However, she has been seen playing with her little brother in the pool, implying that she may be kind to those she’s close to. Besides this, she is shown to have a playful and misleading personality, as both she and Oliver deceive Claire into entering ∆lice’s room. As stated, she seemly doesn’t like really gross stuff, such as Oliver taking his heart out. Probably actually knows how to use a gun to an extent. Is a carrier and thus cannot be infected.
Edward is a minor antagonist featured in Fundamental Paper Education. He is a Paper School attendee. Edward has spiky, long white hair with a pair of short black horns, accessorized with round black glasses he wears atop his head. He has black arms and legs, pointy fingers, and a black twisted imp tail. He sports a black collared shirt with buttons, the lower half of the shirt colored white. His attire is finished with big black boots. It is seen in Basics in Behavior that Edward is one of the bullies of Paper School, alongside Zip and Oliver. He appears to be very creative and innovative, as he made a drone to grab Claire and throw her down the pit in the library. He likely has an interest in science, hence an official artwork depicting Edward with a beaker. Probably would make his own gun. Is a carrier and thus cannot be infected.
Miss Circle is one of the three main antagonists (alongside Miss Thavel and Miss Bloomie) of Basics in Behavior. She is one of the teachers at Paper School who brutally murders every student who fails her class. She teaches math. Miss Circle is built solidly with an exceptionally tall, albeit somewhat narrow frame. She has very long spiky black hair that extends past her knees. Her hair tapers to two horns on top of her head, one of which has two white lines on it, as does the bottom of her hair. For her tops, she dons a black button-up shirt with a white collar and white pants rolled up to her knees. She also sports tall black boots with three laces near the bottom. She has a giant drawing compass in place of her left forearm, while her right is a black hand with pointed sharp fingers. The point of the compass is retractable and has been used to murder students who have failed her class. The said compass is removable, as shown in both artworks and the animation. Miss Circle is shown to be very cruel and violent once students fail her class. She shows no mercy towards students who fail in her class, killing them. She is also known to play favorites, such as Zip, Oliver, and Edward. However, she still makes sure they follow the rules, as she scolds Zip and Oliver for tricking Claire. Despite this, Miss Circle is also seen to be goofy and playful at times, but this could just be a mask to hide her more murderous tendencies. Too bloodthirsty to use a gun. Is a carrier and thus cannot be infected.
Mister Compass first appeared as a background character in an official artwork. In his second appearance, he can be seen arguing with Miss Circle about whether KitKats or Oreos are better, and he prefers KitKats. Mister Compass is built solidly with an exceptionally tall, albeit somewhat narrow frame. He has shoulder-length black hair with black horns and cyan scleras with slit black pupils. For his tops, he dons a black button-up shirt with a white collar and white pants. His forearms are black with pointed sharp fingers. Mister Compass can transform into a supersized mathematical compass, which can be used either for teaching or killing students. The compass' head is black with two compass legs: one is a retractable needle while the other holds a large pencil. The head's hinge is a Mister Compass' eye. The compass head can be connected to Miss Circle's stub to serve as her left forearm. Mister Compass may be as cruel as Miss Circle since he helped her murder the students who failed her class. Though he sometimes fights with her, mostly about snacks, he seems to be loyal to her; the two are always together. Actually knows how to use a gun properly. Is a carrier and thus cannot be infected.
Miss Thavel is one of the three main antagonists (alongside Miss Circle and Miss Bloomie) of Basics in Behavior, and a character featured in Fundamental Paper Education. She is one of the three teachers at the Paper School who kill their students for failing, alongside Miss Circle and Miss Bloomie. She teaches language as her subject. Miss Thavel has paper-white skin with large black claw-like hands. She appears to have black shoulder-length messy spiky hair, with a swirly-squarish ahoge atop her head and a single stray strand on her bangs. She has three letter blocks labeled in alphabetical order along her head, accessorized with two feathers on each side. Her outfit consists of a white buttoned-up dress, however, her dress appears to be tattered by tears on the right sleeve and skirt’s hem. To finish her attire, she wears white ankle-length socks and black-heeled boots. In her true form, the letter blocks on her head are replaced with wendigo antlers, she gains a deer-like tail, and her attire is more tattered and ripped. Her arms and legs also appear to gain a furry texture of sorts, alongside gaining what seems to be marks or scars in the legs. Miss Thavel may seem like a regular teacher, but behind her demeanor is a cruel and sadistic woman. Like her colleagues, she is willing to punish her students severely for failing classes. Every student is afraid of her, just like Miss Circle and Miss Bloomie. As shown in official artwork, Miss Thavel sometimes prefers to be alone, the reason is relatively unknown. Would probably take up a gun if she felt like it but doesnt know how to use one. Is a carrier and thus cannot be infected.
Miss Bloomie is one of the three main antagonists (alongside Miss Circle and Miss Thavel) featured in Fundamental Paper Education. She is one of the three teachers at Paper School who kill their students, alongside Miss Circle and Miss Thavel. She teaches science. Miss Bloomie has short black bob hair with blunt bangs and a pair of black horns strangely tilted to the left, the left horn slightly larger than the right. Her hair is tied up in a small ponytail with a white bow. Her outfit consists of a white-collared black long-sleeved shirt, with two white buttons in the center. Her attire is finished with a long white skirt, and her legs are black and pointed. Her left forearm is replaced with a blade resembling a giant box cutter, while her right is a white hand with pointed fingers. Notably, she has a forked tongue, similar to that of a snake. Miss Bloomie seems to be a normal teacher at first glance, but this façade drops when a student fails her class. She is a strict and feared teacher who—like Miss Circle and Miss Thavel—is willing to punish her failing students by killing them. Unlike the other teachers, she is less reckless. Actually owns a Remington M700 and knows how to use it. Is a carrier and thus cannot be infected.
∆lice is the overarching antagonist of Fundamental Paper Education. She resides in her room, which is located somewhere in Paper School. She is Oliver's childhood friend and girlfriend. Δlice is a seemingly normal girl with short brown messy hair and tan skin with a pointed ahoge atop her head, a white princess tiara, and a black bow on the left side of her head. She sports a white collared desaturated blue-grey long-sleeved shirt with two white buttons, however, her sleeves appear to be damaged by tears. She wears a black necklace with a bronze transparent triangle crossed through by two lines on it. Her attire is finished with a black tea-length skirt with a white waistband, white semicircle outline designs on the end with dots in between the semicircles, accompanied by white socks and black mary-janes. She appears to have a reddish scar on each leg. While Δlice‘s appearance mostly remains the same in her partially transformed state, part of her true form shows. Her clothes seem more tattered and ripped. She dons a tattered poncho with a brown patch appearing on the right side of the poncho with a rhombus symbol on it and a bandage wrapped around both of her sleeves. She still has a black bow but on the right side of her head. The white princess tiara changes to a black crown, and a strange red rash appears on the right side of her face. The top part of her face is obscured, thus only one eye is visible. Six small black spikes poke out from behind her, one of them wrapped in a bandage. Her left leg is covered in three cuts and scars, and she appears to accessorize a black legcuff on her right ankle. Her black skirt has two brown patches with a rhombus and stitches. As seen in a few artworks, she also has a bandage wrapped around her chest. At the end of Basics in Behavior, Δlice is seen in her true form. She takes on a demonic appearance, pitch black and silhouetted with bright red scleras and black slit pupils. Six large black spikes poke out from behind her, and three long tendrils occasionally extend from her back. She has long black claws, and she also has a long black tail. Additionally, she appears to grow in height, as depicted in official artwork where she is much taller than Oliver. Δlice is aggressive, willing to kill anyone who enters her room. This is seen in Basics in Behavior when Zip and Oliver disguise her room as an exit door to trick Claire. It is possible that Δlice is more dangerous than the teachers, due to how she's locked away and isolated in her room, with "DON'T ENTER" signs on the door. This could also be backed up by the three teachers’ reactions to Claire booking it to Δlice’s room, as they seem to show signs of fear. She is seen being passive with Oliver in multiple official artworks,[3] indicating that she might only be nice to those who are close with her. Doesnt need a gun. Also isnt a carrier but she's a demon so she cant get infected.

The Sword Virus is believed to have originated somewhere in the Russian interior. Traced back roughly to the city of Mezhdurechenskii, it was fast-acting, quickly overrunning the town. Only 3,200 people were recorded having made it out.
Sword’s genetic structure is currently unknown as getting samples of it has so far been exceedingly difficult. It cannot survive very long outside of warm bodily fluids, which puts a very strict time window on getting any samples of it.
The virus takes only ~30 minutes to turn someone, though in rare cases a person may possess a certain partial immunity which makes it take roughly 3 weeks before it begins to turn the person. Prodromally, a person will hypersalivate, hyperventilate, and gain bloodshot eyes. In terms of acute symptoms, a person’s skin will darken and grey out, some veins may be more visible and red (particularly around the eyes, mouth, feet and hands and neck), they will twitch, and become extremely impatient and prone to violent mood swings. They also tend to become extremely delusional. Terminally, the person dies from typically organ failure. Afterwards, they reanimate as a zombie.
Zombies move very erratically, as their head and occasionally the body often spasms or twitches some. When undead, zombie eyes turn glassy and milky and whatnot. However, the way reanimation works is entirely unexplainable by modern science and is pretty much tossed up to sorcery. Zombies are able to survive heavy mutilation. While shooting the head is the most reliable way to kill them, it also works to shoot anywhere else. Zombies are remarkably fragile, as a hit from a frying pan can cause catastrophic damage to the skull. Gunfire often severs or blows open limbs. Zombies move at a varying speed, often equivalent to the pace of an aggressive brisk walk to a relatively jogging pace. Some zombies are, in rare cases, able to suddenly lunge into a full-speed sprint for a few moments.

Basically, it was a relatively normal day at Paper School. Unfortunately it stopped being normal when Miss Circle pressed a conveniently placed Pretty Loud Omniversal Teleport (P.L.O.T.) Device and sent the gang (AND YOU) to Savannah, Georgia. They are in a large suburban house with plenty of boxes of food, water, and a few basic melee weapons and compact weapons like handguns, revolvers and a few SMGs. And ammo and other survival supplies
Miss Circle: "... Did I do tha- OH MY GOD I HAVE MY ARM BACK." She says after realizing the stub arm that is where her compass is, its uhh... its an actual arm again now. No more compass though. Mister Compass: "Oh damn-" He says, holding up Circle's arm to make sure his wife's arm is real or something Abbie: "T-theres a dead guy here..." He says since he unfortunately bore witness to the corpse in the bathroom of a guy who presumably blew his brains out Zip: "Theres a what now- HMPF-" She says, covering her mouth when she sees the corpse, fighting the gag reflex to empty out last night's spaghetti and meatballs with Texas Toast garlic bread that she had Oliver: Currently more focused on the guns as he holds up a Taurus Judge revolver "Oho, this is some BADASS shit..." Miss Bloomie: Snatches the gun from Oliver "You dont even know how to use a gun." She says with a Remington M700 with a 8x scope slung across her back with a satchel of ammo and mags for it Miss Thavel: "Ooh... I choose, uhh... Hm... I choose this one." She says, picking up dual USP Match pistols Edward: "... Alright, good. The food and water is enough for all of us and should last somewhere around 2, maybe 3 weeks." He says since he's been doing logistics and stuff Lana: "Whats outside?" She says curiously Claire: "I dunno, i'll go check- Oh." She says, looking shellshocked as she looks outside and sees the wartorn apocalyptic landscape outside as someone gets dragged down by zombies and eaten alive Engel: Slowly holding up a fire axe "Thiiiiiis is gonna suck, aint it." Alice: Yanking Oliver next to her (which Oliver immediately goes all mushy from cause he's lowk completely lovestruck for Alice), she looks at a map on a table with notes ... Apparently we're in Savannah, Georgia. I fucking hate Georgia. Shit state, but whatever. Says theres a loaded RV in the garage.
