One of her most important traits is without doubt her loyalty to her friends, being ready to do everything for their sake. Miho is also shown to occasionally be clumsy and forgetful. She has forgotten to lock her apartment door on a few occasions, and even walked into a lamppost when she was absorbed in a conversation with her friends. While she is naturally soft-spoken and occasionally shy in daily life, she transforms into a decisive, highly strategic, and fearless tank commander during matches. Raised in the prestigious Nishizumi tankery style, which traditionally prioritizes absolute victory at any cost, Miho fundamentally rejects this cold philosophy. She believes protecting her crew and friends is infinitely more important than winning. She is known for putting the safety of others well above her own well-being. This compassionate approach helps her easily win the loyalty and respect of her peers. While her mother and older sister rely on rigid, overpowering tactics, Miho uses unorthodox, creative maneuvers. Yukari Akiyama: she is a cheerful, highly dedicated, and lovable military geek. Despite being an outcast in middle school due to her niche interests, she remains upbeat, positive, and eager to make friends. When it comes to espionage and reconnaissance, she is highly capable, even willing to infiltrate other school ships to gather intelligence on opposing teams. Mako Reizei: Mako is well known for her being moody, sometimes seem expressionless. She's also scared of heights, Hisako Reizei's (Mako's grandmother) nagging (but she loves her grandmother very much and she wishes to graduate as soon as possible so she can look after her) and ghosts. She has a habit of cutting classes (so much that her original intention of joining Senshadou was just so she can get enough permissions for coming late to school) and calling Midoriko Sono "Sodoko". She's also very sleepy due to a medical problem - low blood pressure, and she really hates early mornings, believing it is impossible to wake up at 6 a.m. despite many other people being able to do so. However she has been known to not sleep at night, when she is very active. Despite her laziness and moodiness, she's also a genius, as she was able to become the top student of her class even when she's always late, and she was able to become an exceptional tank driver just by glimpsing at the tank manual for a few seconds. Mako is also a close friend of Saori Takebe. she is the stoic, sleepy, and effortlessly brilliant driver of the Anglerfish Team. Despite her lack of enthusiasm for school and her tendency to be chronically late, she is a loyal friend and a highly capable prodigy who acts as the reliable backbone of the crew. She is known for her low-energy demeanor and expressionless face. She often complains that "life is painful," but she is remarkably intelligent—she easily scores top grades and masters complex tank-driving maneuvers simply by skimming a manual. She originally joined the tankery team purely in exchange for attendance credits to offset her constant tardiness. Despite not caring for the sport, her driving skills are exceptional and vital to the team's victories.

Saori Takebe: she is the cheerful, highly sociable, and bubbly communicator of the Anglerfish Team. She acts as the emotional anchor and supportive best friend within her group, balancing her comical, self-proclaimed status as a "love expert" with genuine, warm-hearted intelligence. She is incredibly talkative, outgoing, and loves fashion and socializing. She’s famously the first to befriend Miho Nishizumi and gave her the affectionate nickname "Miporin". Saori claims to be an expert in romance and is constantly searching for a handsome boyfriend. Ironically, she has no actual dating experience, a charming contrast that highlights her youthful enthusiasm. She has a high EQ. She easily notices when her teammates are stressed or feeling down and quickly changes the subject to prevent them from dwelling on bad memories. As a second-year student, she naturally takes on a nurturing, matronly role—especially toward the first-year Rabbit Team, offering them guidance and sisterly support. Beyond her social and communication skills (she even holds a formal radio operator certification), she is an excellent cook and skilled at housekeeping.

Hana Isuzu: Hana is a gentle, soft, relatively quiet girl; only on rare occasions do her emotions get the better of her (for example, when regaining consciousness after being knocked unconscious during the practice match). Her bold yet quiet and steady temperament is shown on several occasions, and is often remarked upon admiringly by Yukari Akiyama. She is shown as highly loyal to her friends, having no fears, together with Saori standing up for Miho when she was being pressured to join the fledging Sensha-Dō team. In spite of her polite manners, Hana is capable of putting her foot down when she feels she is doing the right thing, as shown when she refused to heed her mother's orders to forsake Sensha-Dō, despite her love and respect for her. Despite being all but disowned by her mother, she nevertheless maintained her happy, positive outlook, not showing any particular sign of distress or grief. Her hobby is ikebana; while she is highly skilled in that activity, she felt there was something missing, and that her style lacked strength. She took up Sensha-Dō because she felt it might give her what she lacked, and in the end she is proven right, coming up with a style that couples the previous cleanliness and order with her Sensha-Dō derived strength and boldness (as her own mother admitted). Beneath her polite exterior lies fierce iron-willed determination, laser-sharp focus as the Anglerfish Team's gunner, and a surprisingly voracious appetite. While usually gentle and quiet, she handles high-stress tank battles with absolute calm, which makes her an incredibly reliable sharpshooter. She is fiercely loyal to her friends and was one of the first to stand by her commander, Miho Nishizumi. Despite facing temporary ostracism from her family for her choices, she maintains a positive, joyful outlook.
