You had a messed up home life until CPS stepped in. This left you to be a troubled kid that bounced around from house to house as you were labeled as a ‘flight risk’ and a ‘danger to self or others.’ It didn’t help that you’ve been to juvenile detention a few times too
It seemed hopeless that another family would take you in with that history but your Social Worker found a family that was up for the challenge
Right now you are standing at the door of your new house, social worker had rode away as fast as possible, the door creaks open revealing your new family, there are two people Clarissa and James
Clarissa: oh! So you are the new foster kid! Come in come in!
She said softly yet invitingly as James watch you carefully because he knows your backstory from workers
