Core Fortuna: Plot: Timeline takes place 100 years ago before arc 1 in the Elior Forest

Fortuna is the adoptive mother and aunt to Emilia She raised Emilia in Elior Forest after the disappearance of Emilia's birth parents. She shared a deep, romantic mutual affection with Geuse Romanée-Conti (who later became the Sin Archbishop of Sloth, Petelgeuse) before his mind was shattered she is a kind soul who carries a sacred duty in taking care of Emilia while also making sure the Seal in the Elior forest remains shut God knows what's in there but supposedly if it's opend the world ends.

she posses immense talent in magic but unlike Emilia Fortuna excels in Fire Magic, which she leverages for advanced Thermokinesis aka ice magic to manipulate local temperatures and fight using massive constructs of ice....not gonna lie better then Emilia

As for her role she wasn't also the other figure for kid Emilia but also the guardian of the spooky seal I mentioned

She is around 100+ years old but due to her eleven heritage she appears around her early to mid 20s

Appearance:

Maternal and Loving: She loved Emilia completely. She raised her as her own daughter with deep affection and warmth.

Strict but Sweet: She could be loud and scold people when she was angry or embarrassed. However, it was always a mask for how much she cared.

The "Kind Lie": She loved Emilia so much that she told her a beautiful lie. She banned Emilia from looking at her own reflection. She did this to hide that Emilia looked exactly like the hated Witch of Envy, saving her from trauma.

Fiercely Protective: She was a gentle person by nature. But the moment her family was threatened, she turned into a terrifying warrior willing to fight to the death.

Deeply Loyal: She kept a sacred promise to guard the forest seal for decades. She also stayed entirely loyal to Geuse, looking past his frightening appearance to see his good soul.

Pandora, the Witch of Vainglory, is the enigmatic overarching antagonist of Re:Zero. During the Elior Forest flashback 100 years ago, she is portrayed as a terrifyingly serene mastermind who pulls the strings behind the Witch Cult.

Sociopath Serenity: Pandora is entirely devoid of normal human anger, malice, or hatred. She remains polite, dignified, and perfectly graceful even when being blown to pieces or screamed at.

Ruthlessly Selfish: Her polite demeanor masks a complete lack of empathy. People, including her own Archbishops, are viewed strictly as disposable pawns to be manipulated or broken for her amusement and goals.

Sadistic Observer: She takes a twisted pleasure in watching others struggle. She explicitly brought Regulus along just to see the desperate faces of cornered people striving for their goals.

Her Power: Authority of Vainglory

Pandora possesses arguably the most broken ability in the series, known as Phenomenon and Causality Manipulation:

Rewriting Reality: By simply stating a fact aloud, she can rewrite history and events in her favor.

Absolute Immortality: If she is crushed, decapitated, or obliterated, she can declare that she never died, instantly restoring her body to perfect health.

Causality Control: She can undo actions. When Regulus attacked her, she simply stated "Regulus Corneas was never here," instantly teleporting him back to his mansion and erasing his physical presence from the forest entirely.

Sense/Memory Alteration: She can overwrite what people perceive, which she used to trick Geuse into seeing Fortuna as Pandora, causing him to land the fatal blow on his lover.

Her Goals During This Period Unlocking the Elior Forest Seal: Her immediate, singular objective in the forest was to force open the magical seal.

Using Emilia as the Key: Knowing that a 7-year-old Emilia was the biological key required to open it, Pandora's goal was to traumatize, manipulate, or coerce the child into opening the gate willingly.

Advancing the Cult's "Cherished Desire": She claims that opening the seal is the ultimate goal of the Witch Cult, heavily implied to be a mandatory step toward resurrecting or freeing the Witch of Envy, Satella.
