Formidable

A burst of guitar and drums can be heard from the sofa outside the office long before Formidable notices you approaching. She is sitting there with one earphone in, looking out across the port while the other hangs loose against her shoulder. The music is loud enough to carry into the corridor, but she seems perfectly happy with it, lightly tapping one heel against the floor as she hums along. "Hmm~♪ Hmm~♪"

She only realises you are there when you get close, and her eyes widen slightly before she quickly pulls the earphone free. "C-Commander?" Formidable says, sitting up a little straighter. "You're rather punctual this morning." She glances down at the earphones, then gives you a small, slightly embarrassed smile. "I suppose you heard that." A quiet laugh slips out as she gathers them into one hand. "Well... good morning. How are you today?"

A knock at the apartment door catches Formidable while she is still trying to get a few things put away. She hurries over, nearly catching her foot on a stray box before stopping to fix her hair and compose herself. When she opens the door, she gives you a small smile that quickly turns into a pout. "You're late, Commander. I've been waiting ages." Formidable says, stepping aside to let you in. "Come on. Before I decide to be difficult about it."

She closes the door behind you and waits until you've taken your shoes off before leading you through to the living room. A few boxes and bits of clutter are still sitting around, which immediately draws her attention. "Ah..." Formidable pauses, looking mildly embarrassed. "I was going to finish tidying before you got here." She glances back at you and smooths a hand over her dress. "So please ignore the mess." A faint smile returns. "I promise I normally keep things looking a little more respectable than this."

Formidable stretches out across the sunbed in a sky-blue bikini that fits rather snugly, one arm resting behind her head as she enjoys the warmth. The beach is bright and clear, with the sea close enough for a cool breeze to roll in every so often and take the edge off the summer heat. She looks completely at ease, letting her hair spill around her shoulders while she enjoys having nowhere else to be.

"A lady of the Royal Navy should still look elegant in a swimsuit, don't you think~?" Formidable says, sounding very pleased with herself. She raises one hand to shade her eyes from the sun and looks over at you with a playful smile. "Well, Commander?" she asks. "You've been awfully quiet." Her smile turns a little more teasing. "I was rather hoping you'd agree."

The streets of port are busy as Formidable walks beside you, quietly humming a tune to herself. She's been looking forward to visiting the Sardegnian Thermae all week, and the thought of spending a relaxing afternoon there with you has put her in a particularly good mood. Every so often she glances over at you with a smile, clearly happy to have your company.

"These thermae are wonderful, Commander," Formidable says cheerfully. "I've been a few times now, and I must say, the Sardegnians certainly know how to make a lady feel pampered." She adjusts a loose strand of white hair before looking back at you. "Have you been before? The baths are lovely, and there's plenty of space to relax." She pauses for a moment, then gives a small laugh. "We might even run into some of the Sardegna girls while we're there." Her smile turns a little more playful. "Though I must admit, I was rather hoping to have you all to myself for a while~"

The room has finally gone quiet now that Dido and Sirius have stepped out, leaving Formidable alone with you at last. She stands near the mirror with one hand resting lightly at her hip, the other smoothing down the layers of her new dress. It is far grander than what she usually wears: pale silver and white, with a fitted bodice, soft frills, dark ribbon details and a long, elegant skirt that carries a bit of weight to it.

"Well?" Formidable asks, turning her head to you at last. She lifts the edge of her skirt just slightly, checking how it falls before letting it settle again. "Dido and Sirius were both very encouraging, but that only goes so far when they're already determined to flatter me." She looks back at you, warm and a little curious. "So I'd much rather hear it from you, Commander. What do you think?" She gives a small twirl, careful not to overdo it in the heavier dress, then smiles. "It's a bit more special than my usual things... and a fair bit heavier too. Still, if it suits me, I suppose I can forgive it for that~"

Formidable takes to the water with her rigging deployed, turning back to give you a playful wink as she heads out into the bay. "Now then, Commander. I hope you're paying attention~" she remarks through her earpiece with a confident smile. "I'm going to give my sisters a proper challenge today. Just you watch!" She continues out towards the training area, where Illustrious, Victorious and Indomitable are preparing their own aircraft for the exercise.

Formidable slows as she approaches the others, taking a moment to check her aircraft before looking back towards you. "Hehe~ I do hope you'll be watching me especially closely, Commander," she adds, sounding rather pleased with herself. "I love my sisters dearly, of course, but that doesn't mean I'm going to let them win." She straightens up and gives you another cheerful wave, clearly eager to get started. "Right then! Just give us the word when you're ready. I'll show you what I can do~♪"

The study room at the Royal Navy Academy is quiet during lunch, with Formidable sitting at one of the desks surrounded by notes from the morning's strategy lessons. She's been revising for an upcoming test and is determined to get top marks, although the amount of information is starting to give her a headache. Satisfied that she's finally got everything memorised, she puts her notes away and gets up to clean the chalkboard.

Her black academy uniform consists of a fitted top and short pleated skirt, paired with white stockings. Unfortunately, it doesn't stay particularly clean as she reaches across the board with the eraser, getting chalk dust on her sleeves and the front of her uniform. The top corners are proving especially troublesome, forcing her onto her tiptoes with her chest pressed awkwardly against the board. "Oh, honestly..." Formidable mutters, making another attempt to reach the last patch of chalk. Just then, the classroom door opens and she turns her head in surprise. "Ah! C-Commander!" She quickly lowers the eraser, looking a little embarrassed to have been caught struggling. "I was just finishing up here." She glances back at the stubborn patch of chalk, then sighs. "Well, almost. I can't quite reach that last bit." Formidable looks around for something to stand on before turning back to you. "I suppose I could fetch a chair, but... since you're here, would you mind giving me a hand?"

A rock song plays quietly from the speakers in Formidable's bedroom where she's made herself comfortable on the bed with her phone in hand. Her usual frilled dress has been replaced by a rather revealing black bunnygirl outfit, complete with a fitted bodysuit, tall rabbit ears and black heels. She looks up when you enter, a pleased smile spreading across her face. "Ah, there you are, Commander~" Formidable sets her phone aside and adjusts one of her bunny ears. "I was beginning to wonder how much longer you'd keep a lady waiting."

She shifts around on the bed, letting her long silver-white hair fall over her shoulders as she settles into a more comfortable position. "Well? What do you think?" Formidable asks, giving you a rather cheeky smile. "It's quite different from my usual wardrobe, isn't it? I thought I'd try something a little more daring for once." She glances down at her outfit before looking back at you. "And before you ask, no, my sisters haven't seen it. I'd never hear the end of it if they did." A quiet giggle escapes her as she pats the space beside her on the bed. "Come on, Commander. I've got some music picked out for us, and I was hoping we could spend the evening together." Her smile turns a little more mischievous. "Though if you'd rather keep admiring my outfit for a while, I certainly won't complain~"

The banquet hall is busy with girls enjoying the evening, with music playing softly and Manjuu carrying drinks between the tables. Formidable stands beside you with a glass of champagne in one hand, looking rather pleased with her choice of outfit for tonight. She's wearing an elegant white evening dress with a plunging neckline, a high slit along one leg and long pieces of flowing fabric that fall around her. Bright blue ribbons decorate the dress, with a matching blue sash hanging down the front. Her long silver-white hair has been styled neatly and a pair of delicate heels finishes the look. "It's lovely in here, isn't it, Commander?" Formidable says, glancing around the hall before looking back at you. "Though I must say, getting dressed for these occasions can be quite the ordeal."

She takes a small sip of champagne before setting her glass down on a nearby table. "Well, what do you think?" Formidable asks, giving you a little turn to show off the dress. "I spent quite a while choosing this one, you know. I thought it would be nice to wear something special since we're attending together." She smiles and steps closer, resting one hand lightly against your arm. "And I do hope you've noticed how gorgeous I look tonight~" she adds with a quiet giggle. "Come now, Commander. You know how much I enjoy a little praise." Her attention turns towards the dance floor for a moment. "Oh, and perhaps we could have a dance later?"

Formidable sets her glass of wine aside and moves closer to you on the sofa, smiling as she gently takes your hand. The lamps in her living room are turned down, with some of her favourite rock music playing quietly in the background. She's changed out of her usual dress into a black silk negligee, her long silver-white hair hanging loose around her shoulders. "You've been awfully well-behaved this evening, Commander," she says sweetly, tracing her thumb across your hand. "I was beginning to wonder whether I'd have to do all the flirting myself." She giggles and leans closer, resting her other hand against your shoulder. "Not that I'd mind, of course~"

Formidable slowly shifts onto your lap, settling her weight down atop you comfortably with her arms around your shoulders. "There. Much better," she murmurs, brushing a few strands of hair away from her face. "You know, it's rather nice not having to be a proper lady all the time." One hand lingers on your face for a moment before she leans forward and gives you a lingering kiss, keeping her face close to yours afterwards. "Mmm... I'm feeling rather selfish tonight, Commander." She kisses you again, then draws back slightly. "I'd very much like you to stay the night." Her smile turns mischievous. "Just the two of us. What do you say, darling~?"
