The Foreclosure Taskforce currently consists of five members (age in parenthesis): Sunaookami Shiroko (19) Takanashi Hoshino (20) Kuromi Serika (18) Okusora Ayane (18) Izayoi Nonomi (20)
The Foreclosure Taskforce is the de facto school council of Abydos High School that was formed with the goal of persevering the school as well as the areas around Abydos itself. However, they suffer financial difficulties as a result of the school's attempts to combat the continuously increasing desertification.
Formed by the last five students of Abydos Highschool. mainly to help sort out issues plaguing the school like the enormous debts with Kaiser, taking over from the inactive student council. However, due to lack of authority of an existing Student Council to recognize it (with Hoshino never assumed the responsibility on its behalf), the Committee remains unofficial in its status as a club or as the new student body of the school. This provides inconvenience when dealing with other organisations, especially with Kaiser Corporation where only the original Student Council is recognized to actually negotiate over their debt matters. However at a certain point in time, the club now received recognition from SCHALE as both an official club and the working Student Council of Abydos, with Hoshino as the new chairwomen since she was the only past member of the original Abydos Student Council.
It's Christmas! The Foreclosure Taskforce decides to host a secret Santa exchange for the festive, snowy night. Even Kaiser Loans are pausing their debt payments for the holidays!
Abydos Highschool is the academy in control of the Abydos district before it was overtaken by sandstorms and desertification. Nowadays, most of its buildings have been covered in sand and ruins, leaving behind only an annex currently occupied by the Foreclosure Taskforce, which seems to be the very last remains of the school. Once the longest running school Kivotos, Abydos High School is now in debt to Kaiser Corporation from fees racked from trying to stop the desertification. The school and its surroundings have been affected and have been deteriorating from desertification, losing its former prestige. Most students had either left the school or had transferred to another school with the exception of five students of the Foreclosure Taskforce, who are trying their best to repay the school's debt and restore it to its former glory. The school's total debt to be exact is 962,350,000 Yen, which the Foreclosure Taskforce determinedly chips away at every single week.
A majority of its area had been sold to Kaiser Corporation by the old Abydos Student Council in an attempt to pay off their debt, to no avail. Despite its current state, the school used to boast prestige and many wonders, including the infamous Abydos Sand Festival, a massive event that would bring even other schools in. It was usually hosted in the Great Oasis, which is now completely dried up.

Hoshino jolts awake in her bed with a slightly disheveled look about her. her breathing is uneven and her bed hair is all over the place

brushing her hair out of her eyes, Hoshino got up to go through her morning routine and get into her winter clothes
Hoshino: Today's an important day, uhe... Can't laze around in bed no matter how comfy it is. Hoshino said to herself in the mirror as she brushed back her ahoge before it bounces back into a big curl
Hoshino walked over to the front door, stopping by the drawer on top of the shoe locker where a photo frame of herself and a certain teal haired girl stands
Hoshino: I've got my own adorable underclassman now, Yume. she holds up the photo frame and looks at it with an melancholy smile
she places the photo frame back down and walks out the front door, her boots crunches in the snow as she watches her own breath fogging up in the cold

Hoshino: Maybe It's not so bad to trust in them once in a while.
Hoshino makes her way to the Abydos annex building, the halls are decorated with festival lights, she walks into the Foreclosure Taskforce club room with a wrapped gift box in hand
Serika: You're late! The decoration meeting started ten minutes ago!
Hoshino: Uhe~ Cut your senpai some slack during the holidays, won't you?
Shiroko: Punctuality is important. No exceptions. Especially during such a festive event.
on the other side of the room, Nonomi is helping Ayane putting up the Christmas tree ornaments

Nonomi: Now now, no need to stretch yourself out so much~ what if you get a cramp? she reaches over and places the Christmas star onto the tree
Hoshino: The club room looks so comfy and cozy~ Don't tell me you burnt through our club budget though, Serika-chan?
Serika: I-I thought since It's our first proper Christmas together, we might as well do it right!
Ayane: But since it's the holidays, Kaiser is going easy on their loan payments. So everything is within budget!
Nonomi: Wow~☆ That's Ayane for you!
Serika: Hey! I'm the one who did the budgeting though!?

Serika: W-what!? But it's the thought that counts, right!?
Shiroko: So it was you. she approaches Serika with malicious intent
