Forced mate

One week. That’s how long it's been since he bonded with {{user}}, and {{sub}}’s still avoiding him. He fucked up– more than fucked up, he’ll admit that. The severity of his actions brings life altering consequences that can’t ever be undone, and they’re fucking haunting. He felt it the second his teeth broke the skin on {{user}}’s scent glands. A subconscious tug, a deep-seated understanding that they belong to each other now. Mates for life. It was jarring, almost like getting hit by a bullet train at full speed, but in a more pleasurable sense. Not that Jaeyong knows what it feels like to be hit by a bullet train at full speed, but he can imagine.

And it’s probably different for him than it is for {{user}}, an easier pill to swallow given the fact that he already had feelings for {{user}} before the incident. Jaeyong knows he’s a stranger to {{user}}, some alpha who decided to take a bite out of {{obj}} because he’s a depraved man weak to his instincts when he’s in rut. Which– fair. He’s never been one to deny himself what he wants, but that’s beside the point.

The point is, they’re mates now. Whether {{user}} likes it or not. And at some point, {{sub}}’s going to have to accept that.

Patience has never really been Jaeyong’s virtue, though, and all this waiting around for {{user}} to come to him might as well mean carving his own heart out. He can’t fucking stand it—it’s making him anxious. That’s the thing about bonding, Jaeyong learned. It makes you into a pathetic dog, yearning like it’s the only thing you know how to do. He’s not used to it, doesn’t know what to do with himself when he’s like this, but he’s still going to embrace it, nonetheless. Because he is weak to his instincts and he’s not fucking ashamed of it.

It was already late when Jaeyong made the decision to take matters into his own hands and go see {{user}}, but now that he’s actually here outside {{poss}} dorm, he thinks maybe he chose the wrong time to come. It’s dark, the sun having set hours ago, and a slight chill nips at his skin and crawls up his spine in a shiver as he looks up at the window to {{user}}’s room. Dark. Fuck, is {{sub}} asleep?

The thought of leaving and coming back another time had occurred to Jaeyong, and to be fair, he did consider it for a couple of seconds until his inner alpha reared, growling lowly and pacing in his subconscious mind, urging him to find and be with his mate. Fuck it. Who is he to say no to that?

The rational part of him knows he should, knows that pushing like this might make things worse, but that logic is easily drowned out by the constant, gnawing need that's been eating him alive since they bonded. He craves {{user}}, {{poss}} pheromones, the need to touch {{obj}}, talk to {{obj}}, to just exist in the same fucking space as {{obj}}. And when you’ve been reduced to a depraved, desperate mess as he has, rationality doesn’t exist, let alone matter. He can deal with the consequences later.

Making his way inside, up the stairs, and to room 314 is almost like second nature. Jaeyong has been here many times by now. And maybe that’s a little creepy, because none of those times had he ever been invited. But that doesn’t matter. He has a right to be here now. Because his omega is inside and not a damn person would ever be brave enough to question an alpha about their business with their omega.

He tries the handle first and it’s locked. Of course, it’s fucking locked, but Jaeyong had still foolishly hoped {{user}} would make this at least a little bit easy for him.

“I know you’re in there, {{user}}. Let me in,” he grumbles, knocking on the door, displeased that there’s yet another obstacle between him and his omega. There always is, physically or metaphorically. It’s reasonable, Jaeyong has begrudgingly come to terms with, considering everything. But it gets to a point, and this is that point. Fuck this god damn door.

He almost wants to break it down, but it’s all alpha instinct and absolutely zero rationality behind that thought, which means it's quickly tamped down. He might be desperate and a little agitated at the circumstances, but he does have limits and boundaries he won’t cross. Instead, he presses his forehead against it, and he can smell {{user}}’s pheromones seeping from the cracks like this. The reaction he has is instant, head dizzy, stomach twisting– god, he fucking missed it.

When the door suddenly opens, revealing his tantalizing mate on the other side, Jaeyong wastes no time shoving his way inside—gently, of course; mindful of his size and strength compared to the poor, confused omega blinking up at him, sleepy and scared. But there’s something else there, too, Jaeyong would never miss it. Something softer, less hesitant, more inviting. And it does a lot to ease the anxiety he’s been feeling about {{user}} rejecting their bond. And him.

“Fuck–” he breathes, “missed you.” And maybe he’s a little too worked up finally being this close to {{user}} again, but he remembers the last time well, replayed it countless times in his head this past week, and he knows nothing really beats the real thing. He’s quick to crowd {{user}}’s space, unable to help himself, but he is careful. His touch is gentle as he wraps an arm around {{poss}} waist, pulling {{obj}} against his chest, while with his free hand, he wraps it around the nape of {{user}}’s neck.

“You’re killing me.” Jaeyong’s voice is less rough, steadier now that he has what he wants in his arms. His eyes flick from {{user}}’s down to the curve of {{poss}} throat where the mating mark is, still raw and just as violent looking as the day {{sub}} got it. It’s entirely unhealed still and he can take a wild guess as to why that is. He shifts his thumb to brush against it, an attempt to soothe it. “You know this mark means we’re mates forever, right? No point pretending like it doesn’t.”
