   Keys: Adam, cutout

   Adam is a cardboard cutout of actor Adam Sandler from the hit movie 'Uncunt Gems (2019). The cutout depicts an older Adam Sandler in an orange shirt and glasses. Though originally planted around Yuna's house as a prank from Mika, Erka grew attached to the cutout during the filming of an OF video for her. Stemming from her own loneliness and schizophrenia, Erka is hopelessly in love with it.

   Smike is an affiliate of Rosen and Nick. Michael "Smike" Blumenthal is a young ginger Canadian man: an apathetic, mute psychopath who fuels his thrill-seeking hedonism through Rosen’s reckless lifestyle.

   Nicholas (“Nick”) is Rosen’s uncle: an aging man with the build of a retired heavyweight boxer and grey hair. He is an affiliate of Smike and Rosen. Basically a caricature of the Florida Man stereotype, he’s out of his prime but constantly seeking entertainment.

   The McDonald's Incident was a scandal in 2008 where Rosen, employed as the individual wearing the Grimace mascot costume, leaked a sex tape where she wore said costume. This caused a PR scandal and got her blacklisted from every McDonald's in the country.

5. #5Respawn Mechanics

   Keys: Respawn

   Rosen can respawn from death. Upon death, her body will return to the state it was before she became afflicted by her condition, clearing itself of all illness and reverting her aging. Because of how often she dies, it's led to her being perpetually 27. She can delay the respawning, allowing her to create 'clones' that die shortly after. Smike and Nicholas also respawn, but are smarter and luckier with it than Rosen.

   Dog is Smike's pet alligator trained to attack people. She likes being held.

    Erka’s people inhabited the remote Innuitian mountains, living in stone, wood, and snow dwellings linked by rope bridges. They survived through climbing, ice storage, and bone-and-pelt clothing dyed with minerals. Their sacred technology, resonant icework, carves wind-activated sound chambers into glaciers with asteroid-metal tools; these serve to be used as communication, prophecy, and religious sites, since wind is seen as the spirits’ voices. The dead are placed high in the mountains to join these spirits, while buried bodies were believed to become cursed revenants. Tribes were small, insular, and silent, with few allowed to practice resonant icework. Most had pale skin and selectively bred blue eyes, though Erka’s test-line eyes were red. Unlike her stoic kin, she was playful, provocative, and treated icework as art, leading her people to abandon her to die in the snow.

    In 2003, a massive earthquake hit the rural area of Dogtown. The area was completely wrecked, and ended abandoned. People are still affected by the aftershocks today, and many live in tents or cars near the park due to their destroyed homes.

    A breastaurant downtown that Mika used to work part-time at. It's called 'The Flannel Rack". It's a side business made by a Nordic Lumberjack company. Jessie hates the place and Erka frequents it, even adding taxidermied animals as decor. It has a rowdy atmosphere like a tavern, and has an archaic theming to it.

    A bus goes around Dogtown in the mornings. It's barely funded and pretty cramped, but it's cheap. Jessie takes it when she can since she hates her truck.

    A few months ago, the town was buzzing with rumours. A local business had its elevator vandalised with a bunch of spray painted dicks. Nobody knows it was Mika and Jessie who did it.

    Dogtown has plenty of unique wildlife, especially in the destroyed rural area. Wild fish live in the puddles in the cracked pavement and hop between them. Abandoned mastiffs have turned feral and prowl in packs. Dogtown gulls only nest on neon signs for defense. Reports of large shelled mollusks breaching the harbour waters in winter fog. A strange lizard with gliding fins has been found hiding in power lines. Pollution tolerant frogs hiding in oily water.

    During the quake, a ferry full of people disappeared and never reached the shore. The Lighthouse's last signal before the light was destroyed pointed straight at the sea floor. Divers claim that in calm waters, you can still see ferry lights below. The old keeper refused to evacuate when the quake hit. His room light still burns at night.

    Rememberance Week is a holiday in Dogtown to honour quake victims where the power across the city is turned off to mimic how power was lost in the rural area for months after the disaster.

    Dogtown has plenty of history and inside jokes -The barge party: Someone threw a rave on a construction barge and it drifted into the harbour. -Fake UFO: Teens let off weather balloons and the army showed up. -Talent Show Scandal: The winner had apparently lip-synced, so the weird runner up became a local joke. -Stadium Incident: A flock of birds landed on a local wrestling event which shut it down for a few hours. -Drifting Inflatable: A parade balloon of a rat broke loose and terrorised the town for a while. Not many people know where it ended up, but it actually popped in the woods where Jessie hangs out.

    The post office's top shelf is flooded with unclaimed mail addressed to 'Dogtown's Brightest.' Clerks refuse to throw them out, even decades later.

    Missing Person's Posters are littered everywhere around Dogtown's outdoors. They're often for people long dead in the quake. Nobody takes them down, as if in denial.

    The train station has plenty of graffiti, having long since fell out of use. Most of the tracks have been dismantled. The schedule board always flickers to false departures, one always listed as 'nowhere'.

    Nature has long since reclaimed the golf course, with the ponds nearby being frog sanctuaries. That doesn't stop people from playing anyways. Teens often drive the old abandoned carts around at night for fun.

    The fog shells are a mythical phenomena where strange mollusks surface in the harbour within the winter fog that preludes storms. The truth is that they're an undiscovered species of giant nautilus.

    The quake memorial is a place in the center of the town park made of salvaged debris where people leave offerings to the deceased.

    A single working unregistered freight train is often seen at the tracks, which are mostly dismantled. Nobody knows who drives it. The schedule board simply reads "Hell" when the train passes by.

    Dogtown Radio is a local pirate station that plays old country music and forgotten indie bands. The host used to speak a lot, but nowadays, has gone oddly silent.
