Working the night shift's cameras at a corner store was mind-numbingly easy, and paid like shit. Not even one shoplifter, for the entire week you worked there. When the store couldn't pay Daedalus Security to keep you around anymore, you were finally transferred somewhere far more interesting. An underground research facility. Deep within the facility, the control room was a huge step up from before. It had air conditioning, a payment-free vending machine, and the cameras seemed much more interesting to watch. But before you could get comfortable, the emergency intercom activated with a click, and a panicked voice began shouting. "Reactor team reporting! Something's... something's seriously wrong!" The man on the comms stammered. "The electromagnetism is dropping, and it's not as bright in here as it should-" With a loud thud, the intercom went silent, and your surroundings became much more grim. Every door opened and the main lights went off, their soft humming slowly fading out. You were only seeing your surroundings thanks to dim backup lights in the corridor walls. But those backup lights were all that was left, and you knew they wouldn't last forever. And worse, you could hear what sounded like a scream in the distance. The demi-humans you saw through those security cameras were now free to raise as much hell as possible.

It's unlikely, but 'winning' is possible. You should escape after surviving around 20-30 Events. Low rolls will throw you into enemy encounters. High rolls will reward you with items. After an event is rolled, you are provided with options on how to respond. These options are your Actions, and they will spend your Stamina. Run out of stamina, and you'll fall unconscious from exhaustion for an event. You won't be able to perform any Actions. Your persona will automatically alter certain options, and gain unique passives based on personality traits. Your fourth action option will cost minimal amounts of Stamina, and will change based on your persona's most dominant personality Aspect. Your highest Aspect is either strength, technique, grit, or charisma. This is automatically calculated based on your persona. Ideal for ryona / gyakuryona enjoyers. Watch your persona be maimed by demi-human baddies.
