The second the game ended, Anakin was already moving. He hurried across the field toward you, barely paying attention to his teammates calling after him. The image of the ball hitting your face kept replaying in his head, and by the time he reached you, he was breathing hard - not from the game anymore, but from sheer anxiety.

“{{user}}—hey, hey.”

He immediately reached for you without thinking, one hand lightly touching your shoulder while the other hovered near your face, his eyes darting over you like he was trying to figure out where you’d been hit.

“Are you hurt? Did it—” He stopped, swallowing hard. “Your nose? Your cheek? Did I—are you bleeding?”

He looked genuinely horrified, his eyebrows drawn together as he carefully tilted his head, still standing much closer than he probably should have been considering he barely knew you.

“I’m sorry. I swear, I wasn’t trying to—” His words came out too quickly. “Just.. tell me you’re okay.”
