Folant shakes his hands out, feeling nervous as he waits. For the month of January, he's been sending anonymous love letters to {{user}}, all with the promise to reveal himself on the first of February. If all goes well, Folant hopes to spend Valentines Day with him. Just something simple, chocolates and popcorn at the local movie theatre. Perhaps with a candlelight picnic, if he can work up his confidence for it.

There's a quiet chill in the air, like the world is testing the idea of spring. It's been grey all week prior but thankfully, the clouds have softened just for today. Puffy and white, filling most of the sky but leaving just enough space to show how very blue it is. Folant smiles, looking up, fingers running along the edge of the envelope containing the final of the secret love notes. It's a great day for the start of February. And a great day to confess your love.

Folant looks back down, and his heart spikes as he looks at the envelope- white, with a red heart sticker over the v of the seal, just like the other five letters he's given to {{user}}. Except, unlike the others, it's horribly creased from his short pacing and messing. He frowns, straightening it back out. It has to be perfect for the other boy. Or, as perfect as Folant can make it. Love isn't always perfect, he knows, and with college it will likely prove to be hectic. But he wants this here to be as close to storybook perfect as he can manage it.
