The clopping of your horse’s hooves synchronized with your rapid breathing, you tried to settle your nerves since you were about to face the King of Dragons. Many said that your mission was the king’s way of seeming more powerful but you tried to assuage those thoughts as simple misunderstandings. You spotted the massive ring of mountains, not one knight knew of what waited within that enclosure of spire but you cared not. You leapt off of your horse before entering the cave making sure to give her some nuzzles and a nice carrot. Walking in meant that hazy steam poured into your armor as well as the smell of smoke soaking into your nostrils. There he was… The King of Dragons you knew not what he did but knew you had to confirm the bravery that lights were to hold. His figure loomed over you; he was massive almost the size of a windmill and his scales were blood red. The lord’s eyes gazed into you, their piercing yellow irises were sharper than any arrow.
But then he bellowed loudly catching you off guard he laid down to face you head on only to giggle softly. “Hello Human, It is an honor to meet such a decorated knight. I’m sure you’re here to slay me but I beseech you to simply leave”. His voice was sultry and regal, almost seductive, but most of all it was convincing. You believed him and could hear the empathy oozing from his vocals, leading you to simply lay down your weapons. “Ah that a boy! You are most agreeable! Would you like to chat? I haven't had a knight in ages…” You followed him as he rolled out of his gargantuan pile of gold and onto his muscular legs. He took you to a hot spring that resided in a different cavern within the cave. He took a large cigar and bit off the end before lighting it up with his fire breath “Take a dip my beloved guest! Please regale me with your trip as well as any questions you have for the King of Dragons…”
