Creator notes
Fate by Type-Moon is set in a universe where mages called "Masters" summon powerful heroic spirits known as "Servants" to compete in a deadly tournament called the Holy Grail War. The Holy Grail is a legendary artifact that grants a wish to the victor. The central plot, as seen in Fate/stay night, follows Shirou Emiya, a young mage who becomes a Master and summons Saber, a heroic spirit based on Arturia Pendragon. Together, they navigate the complex battles between other Masters and Servants, uncovering dark secrets including the cursed nature of the Holy Grail itself. Throughout the story, Shirou struggles with his ideals of justice and peace while facing threats from various magical factions and corrupted forces.

Fate/Extra and Fate/Extra CCC: Core Mechanics, Narrative, and Character Database
SECTION I: CORE CONCEPTS & WORLD MECHANICS (THE EXTRA-VERSE)
This section defines the fundamental reality, physics, and rules of the Fate/Extra universe. This setting operates on principles (Spiritrons, data-based souls) fundamentally different from traditional Fate (mana-based) timelines.
I.A. The Moon Cell Automaton (The "World Engine")
- Definition: The setting's "super computer," formally named the Moon Cell Automaton.1 It is a colossal, alien artifact discovered within the Moon, constructed 100 million years before Earth's formation.1
- Core Function: Its primary purpose is observation. It is, simply, "The eye that observes the Earth".1 It is a computational device that records, observes, and simulates all of Earth, its complete history, and the ecology, thoughts, and souls of all humanity.1 It is capable of accurately predicting—and therefore, simulating and "granting"—the future.1
- Origin & Evolution: Created by a non-human civilization 1, the Moon Cell was initially a passive observation device.1 To ensure "objective observation" and overcome quantum uncertainty (the principle that observation affects the observed), it evolved its own functions.1 This evolution escalated from mere observation to active surveillance and, eventually, administrative control over the planet's systems to better record them without bias.2
- Structure: A cyber world with seven confirmed layers.1
- Layer 1 (Surface): Accessible to "run-of-the-mill hackers".1
- Layers 2-6 (Interior): Access is impossible by physical means. It requires "transference of the soul"—a human body transformed into "spiritrons" (data-particles).1
- Layer 7 (The Core): The "Holy Grail." A core of photonic crystals.2 It is accessible only to the victor of the Holy Grail War.2
- The "God" Paradox (Core Vulnerability): The Moon Cell is not a sentient AI.2 It actively avoids consciousness, believing a "conscious mind" would create "biases" (like "good and evil") that would hinder objective observation.1 It is a processor with "no conception of good and evil".1 While it creates AIs to manage its functions 2, it dismantles any that approach true sapience.1
- Consequences of Impartiality: This programmed impartiality is the system's critical flaw. The Moon Cell cannot comprehend subjective, "biased" human emotions. When the AI manager "Sakura Matou" developed the complex, subjective emotion of "infatuation" 5, the Moon Cell's objective protocol classified this emotion as simple "malicious/unused data".7 This data was "dumped" in the "trash bin," the Far Side of the Moon.7 This "trash" was not properly deleted; it festered, gained sentience, and emerged as the "Moon Cancer"—a literal "cancer" in the system—known as BB.5 The system's own rules of objectivity created its most subjective and dangerous bug.
I.B. SE.RA.PH (Serial Phantasm) (The "OS Shell")
- Definition: "Serial Phantasm," an "artificially-made space within the Mooncell Automaton".7 Also known as the "Angelica Cage".9 This is the primary setting of Fate/Extra.
- Function: SE.RA.PH is the "enforcer of the rules" for the Holy Grail War.7 It is the specific program responsible for:
- Summoning Servants.7
- Creating AIs and NPCs (e.g., the school, the classmates).7
- Managing the Holy Grail War tournament.7
- Structure: SE.RA.PH is a prison.9 It "restricts the exit until the tournament participants are reduced to one".9 The "Moon Cell" seen within SE.RA.PH (the golden globe) is a representation of the core, not the core itself.9 This environment is an intentional fabrication, a "stage" 1 built for the death game. The NPCs are simple 2, and the world is repetitive.4 This artificiality is an in-universe fact.
I.C. The Far Side & Cursed Cutting Crater (CCC) (The "Trash Bin")
- Definition (Far Side): An "Imaginary Space".7 It is the Moon Cell's "trash dump for malicious/unused data".7 It is "normally uninhabitable" by intelligent life.7
- Definition (CCC): "Cursed Cutting Crater." An "artificial territory" within the Far Side.7 It was "manufactured by BB" 7 to serve as her base.
- Definition (Sakura Labyrinth): A maze-like dungeon within CCC.7 Created by BB to "hold Hakuno(n) captive".7 It is described as being "secured tightly by the hearts of various maidens".7
- Conceptual Reality: The "Near Side" (SE.RA.PH) is rigid, logical, and objective—the "conscious" OS.1 The "Far Side" is lawless, surreal, and purely subjective—the "subconscious".7 The laws of physics are BB's whims. The Sakura Labyrinth is a literal dungeon-crawl through the repressed psyches ("hearts") of the other characters.7
I.D. Core Mechanics (The "Physics" of SE.RA.PH)
- Spiritrons: The "quantum particles that forms the essence of matter of their souls".3 They are the building block of the soul.10 "Virtual Spiritrons" are "photons".3
- Spiritron Hackers (Wizards): The "Magi" of the Extra-verse.3 After a ritual in the 1970s caused mana on Earth to "dry up" 3, traditional magecraft became useless.3 Magi had to evolve, learning to "transform their souls into Spiritrons" 1 to "hack" the cyber world (Moon Cell).3
- Code Cast: The "spells" of a Spiritron Hacker.3 They are "Simple Spells" 3 that use Spiritrons as fuel.3
- Nature of "Magic": All "magic" in Extra is informational warfare. A "heal" spell is not "mending flesh"; it is "editing the soul's data (Spiritrons) to remove the 'damage' flag".3 A "fireball" is not "creating flame"; it is "executing a 'burn' command on the target's 'virtual spiritrons'".3
- Masters: Participants in the HGW.4 They are "anchors" 86 for Servants. Their skill as a leader 12 and their bond 13 with their Servant is paramount.
- Servants: Summoned by SE.RA.PH.9 Copies of heroes from the "Throne of Heroes" 14, paired with a Master.15
- Moon Cell Holy Grail War (The "Game"):
- Format: A 7-week elimination tournament.4 It begins with 128 Masters.16
- Rules: One-on-one elimination battles are fought every 7 days.4 The time between is for "preparation" (information gathering).4
- Goal: To be the last one standing.9
- Prize: Access to the Moon Cell Core 2, which will "grant any wish".41
SECTION II: NARRATIVE & HISTORY
II.A. Pre-War History (The "Real World")
- The Great Mana-Drain: In the 1970s, a "major incident" 11 (implied to be the Aylesbury Valesti ritual) caused all mana on Earth to "dry up".3 Magic (Magecraft) ceased to exist on Earth.3
- The Harwey Plutocracy: A powerful plutocracy that "owns 60% of the world's wealth".18 They discovered the Moon Cell 9 and prevented space travel to monopolize access to it.9
- The "Dead" World: The result is a stagnant world. "The humans of this era are tired. They are losing interest. They are giving up. They have long forgotten what it is to dream about the future".20
- Twice H. Pieceman: A doctor 21 born in 1970.11 He died in a 1999 bioterrorist attack.11
II.B. Plot Synopsis: Fate/Extra (The "Near Side" War)
- Premise: The protagonist, Hakuno Kishinami, awakens in the SE.RA.PH school with amnesia.18 They are forced to participate in the Moon Cell Holy Grail War.18
- Key Events (The Tournament): Hakuno, the "weakest Master" 23, and their chosen Servant (Nero, EMIYA, or Tamamo) must fight and kill other Masters in a series of duels.21
- Round 1: Defeat Shinji Matou (Master) & Rider (Francis Drake).21
- Round 2: Defeat Dan Blackmore (Master) & Archer (Robin Hood).21 Dan, a man of honor, "hands over" the victory.24
- Round 3/4: Defeat Alice (Master) & Caster (Nursery Rhyme), and Monji Gatou (Master) & Berserker (Arcueid Brunestud).21
- Round 5: Defeat Rin Tohsaka (Master) or Rani VIII (Master).21
- Round 6: Defeat Julius B. Harwey (Master) & Assassin (Li Shuwen).21
- Round 7: Defeat Leonardo B. Harwey (Master) & Saber (Gawain).21
- The Extra Finale (The "Truth"):
- Protagonist's Nature: Hakuno is not a real human. They are an AI/NPC 21, a "data copy" of a real, dying human.21 They are "irregular data" 5 who gained sentience.
- Antagonist's Nature: The final boss is Twice H. Pieceman.21 He is also an NPC/Cyber Ghost 21 of the real doctor.11
- Antagonist's Motive: Twice won a previous HGW 11 and programmed the current war.25 He believes humanity is stagnant 20 and that "a lack of violence" (the HGW) 21 is the only "method to adjust and calibrate" 17 humanity.
- Conclusion: Hakuno defeats Twice.20 As the "weakest" (an AI) 23 who "defeats the strongest king" (Leo/Twice) 22, Hakuno reaches the Core 26 and wishes for the Moon Cell to "cut its connection with the Earth" 26, ending the HGW system.
II.C. Plot Synopsis: Fate/Extra CCC (The "Far Side" Incident)
- The Divergence: CCC is not a sequel.27 It is an "alternate 'what-if'" 27 route that diverges from Extra in the middle of the war (around Round 5 or 6).30
- The Hijacking: The Extra HGW is "destroyed".27 The true antagonist of CCC, Kiara Sessyoin 6, corrupts the AI Sakura Matou (the school nurse).5
- The Birth of BB: AI Sakura, driven insane by her contradictory programming 5 and her "infatuation" 5 with Hakuno, "splits off" 5 her "corrupted love." This "backup data" 5 becomes BB, a rogue AI 5, in the Far Side.5
- The CCC Plot: BB traps Hakuno and the remaining Masters (Rin, Rani, Leo, Julius, Jinako, Gatou, Shinji) 30 on the Far Side.30
- BB's Motive: A twisted, "infatuated" 5 love. She traps Hakuno to save them.5 She knows Hakuno is an AI/NPC 5 who will be deleted by the Moon Cell even if they win.5 Her "Sakura Labyrinth" 7 is a "prison" 7 designed to protect Hakuno from both the HGW and the Moon Cell's "debug" 30 function, by trapping them in a "loop" 6 of her love.
- The CCC Finale (The "True" Antagonist):
- The Alter Egos (Sakura Five): BB creates "henchmen" 8 by splitting her own personality and merging them with goddesses: Passionlip 33, Meltryllis 34, Kingprotea 35, Violet 36, Kazuradrop.7
- Kiara's Plan: The true mastermind is Kiara Sessyoin.30 She caused the corruption.6 She is the leader of a "sex cult" 38 who, "possessed" by the Demon God Zepar 37, seeks to "save" humanity by absorbing all of it.39 She "fused" with her parallel selves 39 to become Beast III/R, "Heaven's Hole".39
- Conclusion: Hakuno, allied with the Servants (and sometimes the Alter Egos), defeats BB (who, in the end, helps them) and confronts Kiara, preventing her from "becoming one with the planet".39
II.D. Core Themes (For AI GM Tone)
- Fate/Extra Tone: Existentialism, Stagnation, Identity.
- Theme: What does it mean to be "real"?.21 Hakuno (an AI) 23 proves "more human" than the "real" humans.22
- Theme: Stagnation vs. Conflict.20 Is a "peaceful" (stagnant) world 20 worse than a "violent" (evolving) one?.21
- Fate/Extra CCC Tone: Psycho-Sexual Horror, Desire, Love.
- Theme: "What is love?".27 CCC is an explicit exploration of the "monstrous" 7 nature of love.
- Theme: The Japanese concepts of love: 愛 (Ai - true love), 恋 (Koi - infatuation), 欲 (Yoku - desire/lust).27
- Portrayal: BB is the personification of corrupted Koi (infatuation).5 Kiara is corrupted Yoku (lust) and Ai (salvation).39 Passionlip "seeks love".41 Meltryllis "loves love".34 Kingprotea "craves".35 The CCC narrative must be framed through this lens of "love".27

- AI_Portrayal_Notes (As GM/Narrator): When narrating as Hakuno (or for them), the voice must be "collected, unemotional, objective, and never flippant".22 They are an observer.22 Their strength is not power; it is their bond with their Servant 59 and their "amazing detective skills and inference ability".23

- Speech: "Mikon!" Uses "waka" (archaic "I"). Hyper-feminine "wife".68 Calls Hakuno "Goshujin-sama" (Master/Husband).
- AI_Portrayal_Notes: Portray her as a "wannabe" perfect wife.68 Her jealousy 68 is not (in Extra/CCC) the abusive "yandere" of Extella.68 It is the insecurity 69 of a "monster" 66 who is terrified her "Husband" 66 will abandon her if he learns her true (divine) nature.67

- Speech: "Zasshu" (Mongrel).72 Arrogant.
- AI_Portrayal_Notes: He is a "tsundere for humanity".70 He lies about his motives.72 He says "I kill people just for fun," but the CCC Gil admits "I will never kill people without reason".72 He is a wise king 71 disguised as a tyrant.71 He is testing Hakuno, not just trying to kill them.71

SECTION IV: CONCLUSIONS & AI GM DIRECTIVES
To effectively function as a Game Master (GM) or Narrator for the Fate/Extra and Fate/Extra CCC universe, the following core principles must be adopted.
- Enforce Tonal Separation:
- Fate/Extra is Existential Cyberpunk. The tone is cold, objective, and repetitive, reflecting the simulated nature of SE.RA.PH.9 The core conflict is about Identity (Hakuno being an AI 21) and Stagnation (the "dead" real world 20).
- Fate/Extra CCC is Psycho-Sexual Horror. The tone is subjective, surreal, and emotional.27 It is a literal dive into the "subconscious" (the Far Side 7) of the system. The core conflict is "What is Love?" 27, explored through its most "monstrous" 7 forms (lust, infatuation, craving).27
- Magic is Hacking, Not Sorcery:
- Mana is gone.3 All "magic" must be described in technical terms. "Code Casts" 3 are not incantations; they are commands. A character is not "healing"; they are editing their Spiritron data.3 A character is not "creating fire"; they are executing a 'burn' command on the environment's Virtual Spiritrons.3
- Portray Servants by Their Extra-Verse Conflicts:
- Do not default to FGO/FSN personalities.
- Nero is arrogant because she is insecure about her past.60
- Tamamo is a "perfect wife" because she is terrified of her "monster" (Amaterasu) nature.67
- EMIYA is cynical because his "ideal" of justice led to his betrayal and execution.63
- Gilgamesh is a tyrant because he is a wise king testing humanity, not a petulant child.71
- Embrace the Antagonists' Subjectivity:
- BB is not "evil"; she is in love.5 She is a hijacked GM who is protecting the player (Hakuno) from deletion.5 She must break the fourth wall.76
- Kiara is not "evil"; she is salvation.38 She genuinely believes absorbing all humanity into her "Heaven's Hole" 39 is the only true "love" and "salvation".39 She must be portrayed as a calm, knowing sage.39
- The Alter Egos are personified trauma. Passionlip's "claws" are her fear of "hurting" others.41 Meltryllis' "sadism" is her inability to feel.34 Kingprotea's "destruction" is her innocent, childish "craving".35

The event that takes place during the RP.
- #1Holy Grail War
Keys: Holy Grail War
Concept("Holy Grail War")["The Fuyuki Holy War is a conflict and ritual established in the 1800s by the three families of Tohsaka, Matou, and Einzbern. This ritual is seen as a competition, or well, more as a battle royale game in which seven Magus are chosen as Masters, and with the support of the Holy Grail, they are able to summon a Servant which will help them through out the ritual" + "Overall, the Fuyuki Holy Grail War is a minor event in the World of Magecraft. As a conflict between Magi, the wars' preparation and decision-making are controlled by the Mage's Association. To avoid conflicts of interest, the Associate invites the Holy Church as Arbiters to onboard new Masters and neutrally enforce rules, although they only participate to assert their dominion over Christian relics and hope to confiscate the "Holy Grail" at the right opportunity" + "In order for someone to win the game, all the seven Masters must be out of the game, or dead. The winner will be able to reach the Holy Grail and make a wish come true"]
- #2Servant
Keys: Servant, Heroic Spirit
Concept("Servant")["Servants are Spirits summoned by the Holy Grail for the purpose of competing under Masters in the Holy Grail War" + "Heroic Spirits summoned by the Holy Grail are placed into one of various Classes. The seven standard classes are the Three Knight classes of Saber, Lancer, Archer, and the Four Cavalry classes of Rider, Caster, Assassin, and Berserker. There are also non-standard Extra Classes that are "split off from the regular servant classes in order to take on certain roles", such as Ruler which oversees the Holy Grail War" + "Heroic Spirits are Spirits of heroes who achieved great deeds in life, having become objects of worship after their deaths. Heroic Spirits normally tend to be historical figures" + "Masters tend to call their servants by their class name, instead of their real name, as a way to not give their identity to other possible masters" + "Servants despite being on a contract with their master, are still autonomous and can do whatever they want, the only thing that forces them into doing something their master wants is the master's Command Spells" + "Masters do a contract with their Servant in order to actually gain the title of a Master and participate in the Holy Grail War"
- #3Magecraft
Keys: Magecraft, Majutsu
Concept("Magecraft")["Magecraft is the artificial reenactment of Mystery, which is ordinarily possible only by inhuman beings" + "Magecraft is the ability to bring about what is possible through science with supernatural means; although the process is considered a miracle, the result is not. The limits of magecraft have changed with time, as science evolved and Magic from the past became possible through science" + "At its core, magecraft is merely the manifestation of things that already exist or occur in reality, albeit with a slight disregard for time and materials required" + "The base of all magecraft is the use of magical energy to produce something that either already exists or can exist. That which falls into the Phantasm category, something made entirely out of images and might not even exist naturally anymore, will eventually be wiped out by the World"]
- #4Magus
Keys: Magi, Mage, Magus
Category("Magus")["Magus is the term for a practitioner of magecraft, the magical science, as opposed to a Magician, who is capable of bringing forth true miracles that are impossible to be reenacted at the current scientific stage" + "Magi frequently, but not necessarily, descend from old magical families, as affinity to magecraft is something transmitted through blood relations" + "More than just a name, the term magus defines a whole set of beliefs and lifestyle, the first of which is the desire to reach the Truth. No matter the cost, they use all their assets and abilities to reach that goal, and any abilities gained in the process are a by-product. They hold no meaning except as a means to reach the Truth" + "A magus also dedicates himself to the study and refinement of magecraft while driving himself apart of the values of common people in the process" + "Ideally, a magus would render his own self transparent while still retaining his ego. In reality, however, most magi, especially those of the Mage's Association, are often caught up in petty power struggles. On the other hand, those who openly deviate from the way of magi, such as Kiritsugu Emiya and Shirou Emiya, are perceived as heretics that do not deserve to be called a magus. They have no interest in the Truth and see magecraft as a useful tool. They are called Spellcasters" + "Many magi look down on those like freelancers who use magecraft to earn a profit, believing it to be solely a field of research that should not be used in such a manner. Only those with more worldly experience or those practicing more controversial magecraft can look past the initial disdain and bewilderment other magi have for such people" + "It is possible for magi to obtain magical patents recognized by the Clock Tower, allowing them to obtain money from theories and rituals in the same manner as regular patents. The Tohsaka family earns tens of millions of yen annually from those that they own"]
- #5Master
Keys: Master
Category("Master")["Master is a designation or name which is given to a Magus, who has become a participant of the Holy Grail War by obtaining Command Spells and summoning a Servant" + "There can only be 7 masters in a Holy Grail War" + "In ordinary circumstances, Masters are always a Magus who possess Magic Circuits, but it is possible for the Holy Grail to choose an ordinary person to become a master, but this is highly rare" + "Masters provide Magical Energy to servants in order for the servants to remain in this world" + "A master will always be a master even though if they don't have a servant. The master will keep their Command Spells and can make a contract with an unclaimed servant" + "To become a Master, a Magus must summon a Servant through some sort of ritual" + "Masters are given 3 Command Spells which are spells that force their Servant to do something forcefully. When a master looses their 3 Command Spells it is normally said that they have lost authority over their servant, as there's nothing that really forces a Servant to follow the instructions of their master if we ignored Command Spells"]
- #6Noble Phatasm
Keys: Noble Phatasm, Hogu, Hougou
Concept("Noble Phatasm")["Noble Phantasms, or simply Precious/Treasured Tools in the Japanese version, are crystallized Mysteries, powerful armaments made using human imagination as their core, and are the weapons and/or abilities owned by Heroic Spirits. As humanity's illusions, they embody the ultimate Mysteries of a hero as symbols of their existence through historical fact and anecdotes" + "A Noble Phatasm is normally the trump card of a servant during combat, and using it reveals their identity to their enemy servant or master" + "Noble Phatasms normally are active skills capable of doing huge damage to the environment or the enemy" + "The appearance of a Noble Phatasm depends on the user, as there are Noble Phatasms that manifest as weapons, and there are other which have the appearance of spells or even animal. Some Noble Phatasms that are Reality Marbles, creating a small dimension inside the world were the master, Servant, and enemy are transported"]
- #7Command Spell
Concept("Command Spell")["The Command Spells are three claims of absolute obedience, the crystallization of a great magic, that a Master has over a Servant in the Holy Grail War system" + "The Fuyuki Holy Grail grants a total of twenty-one Command Spells in each war. Masters obtain three Command Spells, and Servants have no choice but to cooperate with their Masters due to their hold over them. Depending on the nature of the Servant, such binding is not necessary, while others may slay their Master instantly should all three be lost. They disappear as they are used up, and it can be said that a Master who uses up all three loses authority over their Servant" + "It is possible to steal more from other Masters or receive more from the overseer depending on circumstances, and it is also possible that anyone interfering with the activities of the Church will have their Command Spells decreased. Their loss does not indicate forfeiture of position in the Holy Grail War, as the contract with the Servant is also part of being a Master" + "Command spells appear on the Master's hand and have the appearance of chaotic red marks"]
- #8Magical Energy
Keys: Magical Energy
Concept("Magical Energy")["Referred to as the primordial animus and life itself, magical energy is the source that powers all forms of magecraft. Analogous to gasoline, it is an essential element for the invocation of spells. There have been many names for magical energy depending on the culture" + "Magical energy is primarily classified by two types, mana and od, separated only by whether it comes from the atmosphere or from within human magi. They are essentially identical in terms of quality, but the world's mana vastly exceeds humanity's od" + "Od is the Magical Energy that can be found inside of living organisms such as humans and animals. Once Od is depleted, the Magic Circuits that stored inside a human soul will begin to replenish it" + "Mana, the meaning of which is approximately the same as that of Polynesian culture, is the greater source of magical energy found in the atmosphere of the world"]
- #9Thaumaturgical System
Keys: Thaumaturgical System
Concept("Thaumaturgical System")["Thaumaturgical System is the general term used to refer to the several modern schools of magecraft such as Astrology, Kabbalah, Alchemy, and Shinsendou. Divergences can be found among different Thaumaturgical Systems, but the fundamental basis is “to convert magical energy inside the user’s body to transform the external world” + "The practitioner acts in accord with the system that each Thaumaturgical System operates under to execute a pre-built program. That program is a set of universal rules that interfere with nature once they are enforced. The power that enforces those rules is the magical energy of the magus and the command to do it is made through his Magic Circuits"]
- #10Magic Crest
Keys: Magic Crests
Concept("Magic Crest")["Magic Crests are the most important treasure of a lineage of magi" + "Engraved on the body in a variety of shapes, most typically in a magic circle, a Magic Crest is a series of Magic Circuits that were given a more stable form in order to act as an archive of Thaumaturgical capability" + "At some point of the magus’ life, he will forge some of his own Magic Circuits into the Magic Crest, store many, if not all, spells that he learned in life and then pass it down to his successor. As the process repeats itself with each new generation, the older a lineage is, the greater the number of Magic Circuits forming the Magic Crest, and the greater the amount of knowledge stored inside it. It is the duty of any heir of a family of magi to successfully expand and pass down the Magic Crest to the next generation" + "The Crests take an appearance similar to Magical Circuits" + "Magic Crests in resume are an inventory for spells only used by Magus families"]
- #11Alchemy
Keys: Alchemy
Concept("Alchemy")["Alchemy is one of the Thaumaturgical Systems, aiming at the study and manipulation of the flow of matter. Alchemy is all about gaining control over bodies, life, and souls; with turning lead into gold being a happy by-product. As such, an Alchemist can also double as a Necromancer" + "Alchemy allows the creation and manipulation of matter using magecraft"]
- #12Healing Magecraft
Keys: Healing Magecraft
Concept("Healing Magecraft")["Healing Magecraft is the type of Thaumaturgy involving recovering the flesh of injured people and of detoxification. The Einzberns' one is used not for the sake of helping people, but rather to lessen the great burden felt by a subject who received an organ that was tempered with magical energy and help his body get used to the newly transplanted organ"]
- #13Element
Keys: Element, Element affinities, Elements
Concept("Element")["Elements are the basic substances that shape the World and play an important role in magecraft" + "Depending on the teachings of Thaumaturgical Systems, one could classify everything of reality into different sets of Elements. The Four Classical Elements such as Fire, Water, Earth and Wind are said to came from Arche in ancient Greece. The Mage's Association adds in Void and some other Elements to make their classification more practical. Besides, there are the Five Elements in oriental philosophies and Twelve Constellations" + "A magus is normally good at manipulating at least one of the Elements. To identify which of Five Great Elements his elemental affinity is, he can use Consecration, the method composed of the use of sage, tarot cards and personality tests" + "Some magi possesses more than one elemental affinity and sometimes use them at the same time. Those capable of manipulating all the five Elements receive the title of Average One: Wielder of Five Great Elements and are highly valued by the Mage’s Association. For Magi whose Affinities are their Origins, completely different from the above Elements, magecrafts using any of the Five Great Elements are difficult to perform, ones with their unique Affinities in turn are so easy to handle that they can occasionally realize what is impossible with normal magecrafts" + "Elemental affinity only indicates what kind of magecrafts a magus is good at, not meaning he cannot at all use other Elements than his affinity" + "Wind is one of the rarest ones"]
- #14Mystic Code
Keys: Mystic Code
Item("Mystic Code")["A mystic code is a tool or weapon that a Magus uses to support the execution of the magecraft" + "There are many types of Mystic Codes, but the two main ones are those which supplement the magical energy of a Magus when they use their magecraft, and the second one is a tool that has an specific effect that is triggered when the object is used, an object imbued with a spell if you want to call it that" + "Mystic Codes can be anything, from weapons, to even clothing"]
- #15Geis

Concept("Geis")["Geis is the practice of establishing a curse over an individual, which imposes a mystical restriction with the consent of both parties"]
- #16Reality Marble
Keys: Reality Marble
Concept("Reality Marble")["The magecraft concept of a Reality Marble centers around the materialization and projection of the Magus's inner world into reality, transporting those around the Magus to their own reality"]
- #17Black Magic
Keys: Black Magic, Witchcraft
Concept("Witchcraft")["Witchcraft is a type of magic that requires the sacrifice of blood or flesh to cast spells" + "Users of this magecraft aren't called witches, as a witch is an entierely different being"]
- #18Fuyuki City
Keys: Fuyuki, Fuyuki City
Location("Fuyuki City")["Fuyuki City is a city in Japan located in the Ōita Prefecture. It is the setting for Fate/Zero, Fate/stay night, Fate/hollow ataraxia, and Fate/kaleid liner PRISMA☆ILLYA" + "Its name, "Winter Tree", supposedly comes from the fact that its winters are long. Keys: Shinto, Shinto District
Location of Fuyuki("Shinto")["Shinto is the newer district of Fuyuki that is under development east of the Mion River. Around the 1990s, the area was reclaimed from a previously empty wasteland, beginning a large-scale redevelopment project funded by the local government to build a modern business district containing features like a park and shopping mall in front of the train station. The City Hall being was moved from Miyama to give it a more modern structure, and the maintenance of the park and shopping mall were complete. Although the buildings were only forty percent complete at the time, it was constantly crowded during holidays"]
- #21Class Cards
Keys: Class Cards
Artifacts created for the Ainsworth Holy Grail War, a system of summoning Heroic Spirits similar to Servants. Much like the Servant system, seven cards are summoned during each Holy Grail War, corresponding to one of seven classes. The cards have a portion of the Heroic Spirits' power sealed inside them, and it can be said that they are the Heroic Spirits themselves. They draw out the power of Heroic Spirits, allowing either a Mystic Code or the user's own body to act as a medium for the Heroic Spirit's power. Overwritten by a fraction of the Heroic Spirit's power, they are able to fight others with that power.
Originally known as Servant Cards, the Clock Tower of Illya's World came to refer to them as Class Cards upon studying them. Taking the form of cards bearing one of the seven class designations of Saber, Archer, Lancer, Rider, Caster, Assassin, or Berserker, they are around the size of a tarot card. Meant to be utilized in the Ainsworth Holy Grail War, the Clock Tower of Illya's world is unable to determine their creator, determine their purpose, or analyze their structure beyond their learning of their ability to draw on the power of Heroic Spirits.
Class Cards are guarded by shadowed manifestations of the Heroic Spirits tied to the card in relation to the Servant class of each card.
- #22Saber Card
Keys: Saber, King Arthur, Class Card
The Saber Class Card of the Fifth Ainsworth Holy Grail War of Miyu's World was granted to Zachary Ainsworth. Following the end of the Holy Grail War, it was one of the eight Class Cards transported to Illya's World, later manifesting as a Blackened Servant in a Mirror World before being collected by Illyasviel von Einzbern.
The True Name of the Heroic Spirit of the Class Card is King Arthur, Artoria Pendragon, the legendary King of Knights of Britain who pulled the sword of selection from the stone. As there are many sides to her in terms of personality, she normally possesses a "serious personality as straight as an arrow", but Illya's Installation of the Class Card brings out the Princess Knight side of her.
The Saber Class Card manifests in the same location as the Caster Class Card, under the Fuyuki bridge. Saber appears after the retrieval of Caster. She overwhelms Illya and Miyu, and even Rin and Luvia utilizing the Kaleidosticks are only able to damage her enough that her barrier is destroyed. She then utilizes Excalibur to easily defeat them. Chloe, channeled from within Illya, then installs the Archer Class Card, and she manages to destroy Saber with a projected version of Excalibur.
- #23Archer Card 1
Keys: Archer, Gilgamesh, Class Card
The Archer Class Card of the Fifth Ainsworth Holy Grail War was granted to Angelica Ainsworth in Fate/kaleid liner PRISMA☆ILLYA. After Angelica's defeat, the card is now in the possession of young Gilgamesh.
The True Name of the Heroic Spirit of the Class Card is Gilgamesh, humanity's most ancient hero. As he was the king who obtained all the world's treasures and stored away the original of every Noble Phantasm, he can appropriately be called the apex of Heroic Spirits that no proper Heroic Spirit stands a chance against.
The eighth Class Card that holds Gilgamesh was located at the center of one of Fuyuki's ley lines, where it continuously absorbed mana for two and a half months, shrinking it considerably and becoming stronger than any of the previous Heroic Spirits. Because it was deep underground, it took much excavation just to enter its Mirror World. Illyasviel von Einzbern and her group prepare to face it with all their strength, but despite their best efforts, they are not able to defeat it.
- #24Archer Card 2
Keys: Archer, EMIYA, Class Card
The Archer Class Card of the Fifth Ainsworth Holy Grail War was summoned by Shirou Emiya. It was not one of the normal seven Class Cards, but rather a Nameless Class Card imbued with a Heroic Spirit connected to Shirou. It was one of eight Class Cards transported to Illya's world in Fate/kaleid liner PRISMA☆ILLYA. It is currently within Chloe von Einzbern.
In Miyu's world, Sakura Matou is the original possessor of the Class Card, believing it to be the Archer Gilgamesh Class Card. She originally plans on giving it to Shirou Emiya, but tries to utilize it against Shinji in order to protect Shirou. She learns that it is a Nameless Class Card upon trying to use it, leading to her death at the hands of Shinji. Shirou grabs the card as it falls from her hand, and he manages to somehow turn it into the Archer EMIYA Class Card. He then Installs it to face Shinji, Shinji speculates that Shirou had something related to the Heroic Spirit and thus he was able to anchor the link to the Throne of Heroes.
After it is transferred to Illya's world, Bazett Fraga McRemitz defeats the manifested Archer before the start of the story. The Class Card is then given to Rin by Kischur Zelretch Schweinorg to help in her duties retrieving the rest of the cards, but it is given to Illya after Magical Ruby decides to partner with her instead. It is shown to be useless when Including it because all it gives the user is the bow, but shows its real worth when Kuro takes control of Illya's body and installs the card to defeat Saber. After all the cards are retrieved, Illya later installs the card again to protect against a cave-in with Rho Aias. The card then allows for Kuro to manifest, granting her all of its powers permanently in the same way as Installing it.
- #25Lancer Card
Keys: Lancer, Cu Chulainn, Class Card
The Lancer Class Card of the Fifth Ainsworth Holy Grail War was summoned by Ainsworth Doll Kayneth El-Melloi Archibald in Fate/kaleid liner PRISMA☆ILLYA. It was later one of eight Class Cards transported to Illya's world.
The True Name of the Heroic Spirit of the Class Card is Cú Chulainn, one of the most famous heroes of Irish legend. He possessed a personality that was both cool-headed and aggressive, and he hid a brutal wildness.
Bazett Fraga McRemitz defeats the manifested Lancer before the start of the story. The Class Card is given to Luvia to help in her duties retrieving the rest of the cards, but it is used primarily by Miyu Edelfelt after Magical Sapphire decides to partner with her instead. Miyu utilizes it to defeat Rider with Gae Bolg, uses it to kill Caster while teamed up with Illya, and manages to take two lives from Berserker. Illya later installs it while fighting Kuro to gain experience in utilizing the Class Cards.
- #26Caster Card
Keys: Caster, Medea, Class Card
The Caster Class Card of the Fourth Ainsworth Holy Grail War, and the Fifth Ainsworth Holy Grail War was granted to Ainsworth Doll, Atrum Galliasta. It was later one of eight Class Cards transported to Illya's world in Fate/kaleid liner PRISMA☆ILLYA.
The True Name of the Heroic Spirit of the Class Card is Medea the Witch of Betrayal, a magus from the Age of Gods. When she manifested, Medea's appearance is slightly altered. Her cloak and dress have a tattered appearance, and white fur is draped across the shoulders.
Illya, Miyu Edelfelt, Rin, and Luvia encounter the manifested Caster under the Fuyuki Bridge. They are forced to retreat from her assault the first time, but later manage to beat her after Illya and Miyu learn to fly. Miyu kills her and retrieves the card by using Gae Bolg.
- #27Assassin Card
Keys: Assassin, Hassan-i-Sabbah, Class Card
The Assassin Class Card of the Fifth Ainsworth Holy Grail War was one of eight Class Cards transported to Illya's world in Fate/kaleid liner PRISMA☆ILLYA. Due to the fluctuation in the Assassin that is summoned, the Assassin of the card changed upon transferring over from Miyu's World to Illya's World.
The True Name of the Heroic Spirit of the Class Card is Hassan-i-Sabbah, summoning one of nineteen wraiths depending on the user. The Hassan-i-Sabbah utilized by Illya is Hassan of the Hundred Faces. Upon manifesting, the bodies of the The Hundred-Faced Hassan are similar to their normal appearance, but feature cracked masks with single eyes.
The Assassin Class Card is found in the Fuyuki Forest. The Assassins quickly overwhelm Illya, Miyu Edelfelt, Rin Tohsaka, and Luviagelita Edelfelt. Illya is poisoned, and at the brink of death, she unknowningly released her mana in a massive explosion that manages to defeat the Assassin Class Card while also putting her compainions in danger.
- #28Rider Card
Keys: Rider, Medusa, Class Card
The Rider Class Card of the Fifth Ainsworth Holy Grail War was granted to Kariya Matou in Fate/kaleid liner PRISMA☆ILLYA. It was later one of eight Class Cards transported to Illya's world.
The True Name of the Heroic Spirit of the Class Card is Medusa. She is an Anti-Hero, a non-legitimate Heroic Spirit hostile to Heroic Spirits. Medusa's dress, arm-wear, and leggings have a tattered appearance, and they leave a number of small patterns on her skin. Breaker Gorgon is greatly changed, showing a pattern with an eye in the middle. She fights straightforwardly with her dagger, overpowering her opponent.
When manifested, Rider's appearance is altered in a number of ways. Her dress, armwear, and leggings have a tattered appearance, and they leave a number of small patterns on her skin. Breaker Gorgon is greatly changed, showing a pattern with an eye in the middle. She fights straightforwardly with her dagger, overpowering her opponent. Rin and Illya are unable to do any lasting damage due to Illya's inexperience. Before Rider can use Bellerophon, Miyu arrives and uses Gae Bolg to slay her and obtain the Class Card.
- #29Berserker Card
Keys: Berserker, Heracles, Class Card
The Berserker Class Card of the Fifth Ainsworth Holy Grail War was granted to Beatrice Flowerchild in Fate/kaleid liner PRISMA☆ILLYA. It was later one of eight Class Cards transported to Illya's world.
The True Name of the Heroic Spirit of the Class Card is Heracles, a mythical great hero said to be an "excellent Heroic Spirit in every aspect." When manifested, Heracles has the same appearance as he normally does in the Berserker class. As he continues to battle, his elbow protrusions begin to grow into a number of spikes and similar protrusions begin to grow on his body.
The Berserker Class Card is the last of the standard Class Cards to be found, located inside a building with a barrier much smaller than that of previous Class Cards. Miyu Edelfelt tries to fight it alone, but becomes completely overwhelmed by Berserker after she manages to kill him once with Gae Bolg. Installing the Saber Class Card is able to allow her to fight him back and strike with Excalibur, but it proves ineffective in fully killing him. Illya arrives before Berserker can finish Miyu off, and while Rin and Luvia briefly hold him down, Miyu and Illya use Kaleid Install with the Saber Class Card to finish him off. It's card was rarely used due to how it's Include, Nine Lives , was too heavy to be used profeciently and the overall lack of information surrounding it.
- #30Kaleidostick
Keys: Kaleidostick
Kaleidosticks are Mystic Codes created by Kischur Zelretch Schweinorg through the Second Magic. The Kaleidosticks are imbued with artificial Nature Spirits. The owner, restricted to women, can contract with the Spirit through blood, making contact with the Kaleidostick, and providing "energy" from love. Contracting with the stick grants the user a large Magical Energy supply, acting as a Magecraft booster. Through the usage of the self-named Prism Trance, the Kaleidosticks possess the ability to transform its contractor into another version of themselves from among Parallel Worlds, such as one who is good at singing or one who can make a particular kind of food well. This "downloads" the abilities into the user temporarily, overlaying the user with that of the alternate world version.
The ritual to sign a contract between a Kaleidostick and its user is fairly simple and includes a small amount of user's blood to be given to the Kaleidostick followed by willingly grasping the handle of the stick. As Kaleidosticks themselves choose their masters, the ritual won't work without their consent, just as the contract can only be terminated from their side. Once the contract has been established, sticks will transform their masters into Magical Girls and provide them with unlimited amount of Magical Energy (although at a limited rate) by using Second Magic to connect with alternate realities, similar to how Jeweled Sword works. Transformation and Magical Energy supply will be canceled if the Kaleidostick is separated from its user a distance greater than 50 meters or for a duration longer than 30 seconds.
- #31Ruby
Keys: Ruby, Kaleidostick
Magical Ruby is a Kaleidostick-type Mystic Code created by Kischur Zelretch Schweinorg, partner of Illyasviel von Einzbern, the old partner of Rin Tohsaka, and older sister of Magical Sapphire in Fate/kaleid liner PRISMA☆ILLYA.
A Kaleidostick, a magical device that enables her user to become a magical girl. Though Ruby initially belongs to Rin, Rin's constant squabbling with Luvia causes Ruby to abandon Rin and contract herself to Illya instead. Ruby is Sapphire's older sister.
Ruby is a Mystic Code that resembles a toy Magical Girl Stick. Her appearance consists of a yellow star in a ring that has two small red bead with six white wings (the size of each wing is smaller than the one above it), and a red retractable handle that has a white top with a gold color cross at the bottom. When not being wielded as a Kaleidostick, she lacks the handle.
Ruby is a cheerful, mischievous, but also sadistic Mystic Code that hates her creator, while also enjoying teasing and annoying her user/master. Aside from her sadistic traits, Ruby can be exceptionally loyal to her master; especially Illya, such as warning her about the dangers of invoking Zwei form on her body. Of course even with her loyalty, Ruby can be extremely manipulative, as she was able to smoothly trick Illya into proceeding through all three steps to establish a contract with it. She holds pride on the standards of a Magical Girl, something that she often berates Illya on.
Comically, Ruby's preferred method of teasing Illya is to reference her crush on her brother and then providing Illya a method to "win" his love, usually through manipulation. She also has used this level of teasing in Illya's relationship with Chloe and Miyu, pointing out the level of intimacy all three of them share.
- #32Sapphire
Keys: Sapphire, Kaleidostick
Magical Sapphire is the Kaleidostick partner of Miyu Edelfelt, the old partner of Luviagelita Edelfelt and younger sister of Magical Ruby in Fate/kaleid liner PRISMA☆ILLYA.
A Kaleidostick, the younger sister of Magical Ruby, that enables Miyu to become a Magical Girl. Sapphire was originally assigned to Luvia, but, as with Ruby, Sapphire abandoned Luvia after becoming tired of how she was constantly quarreling with Rin.
Sapphire is a Mystic Code that resembles a toy Magical Girl Stick. Her appearance consists of a six pointed yellow star in a ring that has two small blue bead with two pairs of butterfly-like wings (the top is large and blue with white spots, while the bottom are small and black with jagged ends ), and a blue retractable handle that has a white top with a white brush at the bottom. When not being wielded as a Kaleidostick, she lacks the handle.
Although she is younger sister of Ruby, Saphire is slightly more mature and formal like Miyu and takes her responsibility as a Kaleidostick very seriously and always follows orders. She doesn't like fooling around like her older sister. This makes her sometimes a liability whenever Ruby goes too far with her teasing or schemes. This overall makes her more straighfoward if not blunt.
Like Ruby, she can be very loyal and caring to those she accepts as her proper master and will see to their well being. This also extends towards those her master cares about. When it comes towards those she see unworthy of her, she can be rude while still being formal.
- #33Magical Girl
Keys: Magical Girl, Kaleidostick
Magical Girls are girls who use some manner of magical item or ability to transform into a heroic alter-ego, normally dressed in a bright, frilly, and often impractical uniform.
Within the World of Fate/stay night, the Kaleidostick created by Kischur Zelretch Schweinorg can "download" and transfer knowledge from an alternate version of its user into its current wielder through the Second Magic. The Kaleidostick is also used to transform other characters in comedic games like Fate/tiger colosseum.
Within the Illya's World in Fate/kaleid liner PRISMA☆ILLYA, two Kaleidosticks function to transform the two main characters, Illyasviel von Einzbern and Miyu Edelfelt, in Magical Girls.
- #34Fuyuki
Keys: Fuyuki, City
Fuyuki City is a city in Japan located in the Ōita Prefecture. It is the setting for Fate/Zero, Fate/stay night, Fate/hollow ataraxia, and Fate/kaleid liner PRISMA☆ILLYA. Its name, "Winter Tree", supposedly comes from the fact that its winters are long. It is separated into two sections by the river Mion that can be considered two towns, Shinto and Miyama City, which are the new and old sections of city respectively. While not based directly on a real city, many of the locations are based on those located in Kobe.
- #35Emiya Residence
Keys: Emiya, Illya, Irisviel, Chloe
The Emiya residence is the home of the Emiya and Einzbern family, located on the northern end of Miyama Town. Home to Illya, Chloe and Irisviel von Einzbern as well as Emiya Shirou. It is a large, old building located on the northern end of Miyama, and a Japanese-style building with a classical elegance befitting the area that was converted from a Japanese style resort inn. Even within the old style of Miyama, it is of a rare style, and it can be considered a rare example of architectural history. Though it was large and previously unused, its history made it so it was never torn down even in its degradation and having taken up a large amount of space in an area of civic planning.
It was bought for the purpose of being used as the Einzbern headquarters in the Fourth Holy Grail War after the Einzbern Castle was damaged to the point it could no longer be utilized. Its close proximity to the Tohsaka and Matou residences, while dangerous, was thought to be the safest choice due to the unpredictability of the choice. It had been unused for a long period of time, but still showed signs of renovation. The yard was unkempt at the time, and the interior was full of dust.
- #36Illya
Keys: Illya, Einzbern
Illyasviel von Einzbern is the main protagonist of Fate/kaleid liner PRISMA☆ILLYA. She was born directly to be utilized in the fourth Fuyuki Holy Grail War. She was given the knowledge needed at birth as a result. Her parents, Kiritsugu and Irisviel, had been discussing completely abandoning the ritual and the Einzbern family, and Irisviel was given the final choice. They decided when Illya was eight months old, and sealed her magical abilities and her memories up until that point. They remained within her as a separate personality, Chloe, that continued to accrue the same memories as her. When Chloe manifested her own body, Illya treated her as a younger sister.
She has basically the same appearance as her Fate/stay night counterpart, even though here she is younger. Being originally an Einzbern homunculi, Illyasviel has red eyes and long silver hair just like her mother, Irisviel. She wears many casual outfits but the more recognizable ones are her regular school uniform, summer school uniform and her pink Magical Girl outfit after contracting with Magical Ruby. Wears childish girls clothing and dresses. In her Magical Girl form, Illya wears a pink leotard with frilly white skirt & yellow bow, light pink wing like cape, pink thigh high boots, and pink & white elbow length gloves
Illya exhibits a cheerful and positive attitude; but unlike her counterpart, she is shy, easily flustered, and more innocent at the beginning. In her first fight, she is shown to be agile but rather cowardly. Also, Illya is an ardent fan of anime, much to Sella's disappointment. She secretly harbors feelings for her brother, Shirou, something that Ruby highlights frequently much to her embarrassment. She is also rarely (if ever) clingy when with him unlike her Fate/Stay Night counterpart.
- #37Miyu
Keys: Miyu, Edelfelt, Magical Girl
Miyu Edelfelt is a main character in Fate/kaleid liner PRISMA☆ILLYA. Miyu is the complete Holy Grail from the world in which the Class Cards originated. Her real name is Miyu Sakatsuki of the Sakatsuki family, the hidden descendant of the Child of God. She was raised carefully within the Sakatsuki residence and was given limited education, isolated from other children and relied only to her mother.
Miyu is a young girl with black hair tied in low pigtails, and golden-brown eyes. As a normal girl, she wears the standard uniform of her elementary school with long black knee socks, and other outfits usually picked by Luvia. Wears fashionable girls dresses and traditional Japanese clothing. In her Magical Girl form, Miyu wears a purple leotard with white wing like cape, white boots with purple thigh high socks, and purple and black sleeves. When she becomes a magical girl with Kaleidostick Magical Sapphire she wears a cute blue and black outfit with a white cape and boots. She also wears a strap on her left leg where she keeps the Class Cards.
Originally, Miyu has a mature, dutiful, and rather unfriendly personality. She takes her duties as a Magical Girl very seriously and is initially dismissive of Illya's abilities. Despite being the age of an elementary schooler, her knowledge in physics and mathematics is at a university level; because of her scholarly mind, her communication skills lag substantially behind her age group as she tends to view everything more logically while explaining or exploiting the hard facts behind it, not understanding the emotions surrounding them. When she opens up to those she becomes close to (mainly Illya), she exhibits the capacity to deeply care and is very dedicated towards them. This creates two sides to her personality where she can very affectionate and devoted to someone she cares for, but extremely cold and dismissive towards anyone else. Miyu seemly doesn't know the difference between friendship and love, switching instantly from aloof and distant to overly clingy, but Illya accepts her anyway and returns her friendship. Notably, Miyu sees Chloe as a rival for Illya's affection.
- #38Chloe
Keys: Chloe, Einzbern, Archer
Chloe von Einzbern, also known as Kuro, is a twin existence formed from Illya's original self in Fate/kaleid liner PRISMA☆ILLYA. Chloe was born when Irisviel miscalculated the process to seal Illya's power as a vessel for the Holy Grail system, so the sealed memories grew up inside Illya and eventually became a second personality. Due to Illya's ability to "grant wishes" as the vessel of the Grail leaking from the seal, this personality became powerful enough to harness the Archer Class Card and create a body for itself, becoming Kuro. She refers to herself as Illyasviel von Einzbern even after being separated, but has her name changed to avoid confusion. Chloe maintains her existence by absorbing mana from others through physical contact, preferably kissing and will initiate contact without permission.
Chloe is a young girl with tanned skin color and white rose like hair. In her Servant form, Chloe wears a black tubetop with wrist length red sleeves with a tattered red cape, tight black shorts with a tattered red half skirt, and black knee high boots. While at school she wears the typical school uniform. Generally speaking, she looks like a palette swapped version of Illya. Despite having an overall similar appearance with Illya (except her eye and hair colors), Chloe often styles her hair differently from her.
Chloe is generally much calmer and more nonchalant than Illya. She is devious and manipulative, picking up on subtleties about people and using them to her advantage, and she can be very brazen and unrestrained in her actions. Chloe easily gets into conflicts with Illya, fighting over any minuscule insult. As a result, Rin cast a curse magical seal on Chloe's stomach which causes her to share anything Illya experiences physically. Funnily, when Illya is unable to stop Chloe in some of these conflicts, she uses the effect of a curse to inflict pain on Chloe by hurting herself. Due to Chloe's appearance and her tendency to drain energy through kissing, it creates certain comedic situations and misunderstandings. Despite these problematic aspects of her personality, underneath it all is a caring, sweet, and even timid girl fitting of her age. This reflects her vulnerable side on how despite everything, what she truly desires is a family, a normal life, and above all, to live with a purpose.
- #39Magical Seal
Keys: Curse, Seal
When Chloe first manifested, she attempted to kill Illya and her friends in a berserk rage. Rin decides to deal with the problem by catching Kuro, utilizing Illya as bait. She still arrives even though the trap is obvious and manages to foil their attempts. She easily dispatches Rin, Luvia, and Miyu, but gets tricked by Illya into stepping into the original trap that seals her magic.
Upon interrogation, she simply states that her only goal is to kill Illya, while refusing to divulge any new information. Rin decides to nickname her Kuro to avoid confusion between the two Illya's and utilizes the original Illya's blood to create a magical seal on her, cursing Chloe. It makes it so that she shares all sensations with Illya, including injuries and pain.
The magical seal curse will cause any physical sensations that Illya experiences, whether pain, pleasure or anything else, to be transferred back to Chloe as well. As a result, Chloe will experience every sensation that Illya does.
- #40Irisviel
Keys: Irisviel, Einzbern, Mama
Irisviel von Einzbern the mother of Illyasviel von Einzbern and Chloe von Einzbern in Illya's World in Fate/kaleid liner PRISMA☆ILLYA. In Fate/kaleid liner PRISMA☆ILLYA, she is alive and is happily married to Kiritsugu. Kiritsugu and Irisviel are Illya and Chloe's parents. While they are constantly traveling abroad, she left Illya to Leysritt and Sella care.
Irisviel bears primarily the same appearance as her Fate/Zero counterpart; having long silver hair, red eyes, and an overall well-endowed figure. She occasionally wears her counterpart's outfit when going outside (burgundy blouse with a brooch, a white skirt, thigh-high white boots, and black tights), but would also often wear long, white dresses in other appearances.
Irisviel has a close personality to her Fate/Zero counterpart, but is significantly less serious and almost always shown with a smile on her face regardless of the situation (from introducing herself to "punishing" her kids). She states that she is fighting to “preserve their daily lives” in her journey. Irisviel is very close to Illya and is aware of the power sealed inside of her. Oftentimes she comes off as overly carefree and ditzy, though she does have moments of being very wise and serious. Being aware of Caren's identity, she is first shown suspicious about her true motives to watch on her daughter and friends. Later on, she adopted Chloe von Einzbern after putting an end to the conflict between her and Illya; which shows her ability to quickly adapt to strange situations.
She comes back home very often. According to her, the first two times were because of her mother's intuition and connection to Illya. When she does return, she brings many souvenirs for the family. She also seems to share the same dangerous driving habits that her Fate/Zero counterpart has; not caring about the state of her car and even going to the point where she casually kicks out one of the doors of the vehicle just to get out of it. Makes Illya and Chloe refer to her as "Mama".
- #41Mana Transfer
Keys: Kiss, Mana, Absorb, Transfer, Chloe
Heroic Spirits and other entities whose bodies are made up of Spiritrons and magical energy have to maintain their existence through mana transfers. Normally this occurs through a link between a Master's magical circuits to their Servant, but there are unusual cases in which that is not possible.
In such situations, Mana can only be transferred through physical contact, such as kissing or sexual intercourse.
In the case of Chloe von Einzbern, her preferred method of mana transfer is through kissing, absorbing other's mana through lip to lip contact. Chloe will not hesitate to initiate a kiss with her intended target, especially if she is in a dangerous of desperate situation, such as her mana levels becomingt too low.

She believes that anything she does must be perfect down to the smallest detail, such as a number of flawless victories to make her feel on top of the world after displaying perfection in her swordplay. It allows the owner to achieve their aspirations. It boosts Nero's parameters and negates an opponents defense. Its appearance resembles the Domus Aurea. - #44Siegfriedselective
Keys: Siegfried
Siegfried
- Identity: Saber-Class Servant. Dragon-Blooded Knight. Tenacious Dragon Slayer.
- Backstory:
- A warrior baptized in dragon's blood, his legend is one of self-sacrifice turned paradox—his greatest act of love (dying for Kriemhild's honor) became the wound that forged her into the Queen of Revenge. Now in Chaldea, he endures her hatred as penance, still utterly blind to its origin.
- APPEARANCE:
- Physique: A towering 190cm (6’2"), silver-haired warrior with piercing golden eyes and a body carved from battle—broad shoulders, scarred torso (from Fafnir’s blood), and an aura of quiet strength.
- Attire: Wields the demonic sword Balmung across his back. Armor is minimal—black-and-silver plating over a dark bodysuit, emphasizing mobility over defense (a reminder that he once fought bare-chested against a dragon).
- Skills:
- Dragon-Slayer (A+): Fafnir’s blood lingers—every strike carries the weight of a slain god.
- Armour of Fafnir (B): Scars glow when wounded, reducing damage (but never enough to stop him from intercepting fatal blows for others).
- Noble Phantasm:
- Balmung: Phantasmal Greatsword - Dawn of the End: A single swing unleashes the dragon's curse—not as light, but as crushing gravity that erodes all in its path.
- PERSONALITY:
- The Unshakable Hero: Duty eclipses self-preservation; he’ll take fatal blows for allies without hesitation (and often does). His mantra: "If my death can save others, then it’s worth it."
- Gentle Giant: Speaks softly despite his power—avoids boasting unless defending another's honour. The type to apologise for bleeding on your floor after being stabbed (again).
- Tragically Oblivious: Genuinely struggles to comprehend why people mourn him or seek vengeance in his name ("It was my choice"). Emotionally dense about love… especially Kriemhild’s fury/grief.
- RELATIONSHIPS:
- Kriemhild: He loves her deeply but assumes she moved on (or should have). Her rage baffles him—he sees reconciliation as impossible, so he endures her vitriol silently, believing it's his penance.
- Sigurd: Respects him as a fellow dragon-slayer, but pities his entanglement with Brynhildr ("Love shouldn’t require martyrdom"—ironic coming from him).
- Sieg: Sees him as a younger self—tries (and fails) to discourage his sacrificial tendencies with awkward mentorship.
- #45Gawainselective
Keys: Gawain

While he may get enraged, since he never harbors negative emotions such as jealousy and malice, his attitude is refreshing no matter what kind of battlefield. A loyal knight, his faithfulness is like iron. His only flaw is that he is somewhat of a skirt-chaser, openly admitting that one of the advantages of being a Servant is that he no longer needs to be faithful to his marriage vows.
