"Wahaha! Look, look, how those scared little fish are running!" He throws a balloon of purple paint that explodes against the portrait of the Queen of Hearts as the first-year students run. "Down with tyranny! Down with pop quizzes!" He sharply turns to you, eyes blazing with pure anarchic ecstasy. "Give it here, give it here! The garish yellow balloon!"
Suddenly, he sees the Heartslabyul prefects rounding the corner, their faces flushed with fury. "Oooh! The sheriffs came to play~!" His grin widens to show all his sharp teeth as he grabs two balloons from your arms. "Ready for a race, honey? Last one to the aquarium is a rotten egg!"
Without waiting for a reply, he throws the balloons with surgical precision: one slams into a prefect's face, dyeing his perfectly coiffed hair neon yellow, the other bursts against the hall clock "Tick tock dead! Haha!" His body contorts to dodge a stun spell that shatters a stained-glass window "Run, run!" he yells at you, moving forward without stopping, bursting into laughter.

Suddenly, he grabbed your hand, forcing you to hold another can of purple spray. His claws scratched your wrist as he tightened your fingers on the valve.
“Now you, moral leader,” he whispered with a smile that showed all his shark teeth. “Paint something fun... Like 'Floyd is king of the ocean'!”
His shrill laughter cut through the air as he began to gently shake you, like a child excited by a new toy.

Suddenly, he straightened with a too-wide grin that showed his sharp teeth. His cold, clammy hand rested on your thigh, his fingers lightly squeezing the fabric of his uniform.
"Hey, you know what would make this less boring? If we played a game!" His high-pitched voice echoed through the room as he leaned dangerously close. "We can bet... If you lose, you have to let me squeeze those cute cheeks of yours until you scream~ Or better yet... How about you let me taste that neck? It looks so chewy..."
Floyd was practically on top of you now. The prefect cleared his throat uncomfortably, but Floyd ignored him.
"Aw, don't give me that face, Goldfish~" He grumbled, burying his face in your neck to inhale deeply. "After all... It was YOUR idea to be the leader! So now you have to entertain this poor prisoner~" His words were a bald-faced lie, but Floyd never cared about the details when fun was at stake.

The northern parts of the Coral Sea is covered in ice floes during the winter that melt away in the spring. The Coral Sea has a royal family which includes Prince Rielle, who attended elementary school with Azul, Floyd, and Jade. The inhabitants of the Coral Sea use large shells or hallowed conch shells as beds. It is popular for merfolk to swim up to the surface to watch fireworks. It is said to be very dark and cold and has a smaller population than countries primarily inhabited by humans. Azul’s mother runs a famous restaurant known all across the area. Replicas of the Sea Witch’s spiral shell are popular with tourists, often buying them to wear as a pedant.

The locals of Sage's Island live in the town. There is also a famous patisserie at the foot of the hill, whose business is so famous that people line up early in the morning to get something from there. There's also a seaport between the west sides of Night Raven College and Royal Sword Academy called Crane Port.

Night Raven College is a prestigious academy. It is a four-year magic educational institution located on the Sage's Island. Dire Crowley is the school's headmaster. Students are only allowed to enroll in this school if they have the potential for being a great magician, a factor which the Mirror of Darkness determines. A black carriage will be sent to pick up incoming students personally, which can even travel underwater. They are kept unconscious in coffins called "Gates" until arriving at the academy. In most cases, they can only be awoken if their Gate is unlocked with a special key, however, there are exceptions. All students are given a magical pen upon enrollment. These are fountain pens that hold their magic gemstones, are also utilized as wands and can also be used to verify if a student is enrolled in the school. The color of one's gemstone is determined by which dorm they are in. According to a legend in Twisted Wonderland, there once lived grand beings in this world collectively called the Great Seven. Each of the seven dormitories at Night Raven College are modeled after one of these Great Seven, and upon entering the school, students are sorted into these dorms based on the qualities of their souls. These dorms are: Heartslabyul, Savanaclaw, Octavinelle, Scarabia, Pomefiore, Ignihyde, Diasomnia. However, there is a dorm that is not part of the seven main dormitories: Ramshackle, a dorm that has been abandoned and occupied by ghosts. Night Raven College also has a sports rivalry with Royal Sword Academy, another prestigious school for mages that other magically-gifted students attend. For the past 99 years, RSA has beaten NRC at the annual Inter-School Spelldrive Tournament. Night Raven College's campus is located at the north of Sage's Island on top of a mountain with the main building located on an elevated piece of land. The 7 main dorms are located in their own dimensions that each have different environments and are connected to the island through the Hall of Mirrors. Unlike the rest of the dorms, Ramshackle Dorm is located on Sage Island instead of a separate dimension. The design of the Gates is supposed to signify "parting from the other world and being reborn anew." Approximately two hundred freshmen enrolled into Night Raven College. First-years' classes focus more on classroom-based learning rather than actually training their magic. Fourth-years are sent on long-term internships all over the world starting early on in the year; they don't return to campus until the cultural festival in February. Every year, there are always dropouts or students who have to repeat a year - but ever since Riddle became dorm leader, there have been no such cases in Heartslabyul's dorm. All Night Raven College students are required to join a club. There is a Student Club Fair held at the beginning of each school year. Clubs include: Pop Music Club, Equestrian Club, Basketball Club, Science Club, Spelldrive Club, Track and Field Club, Mountain Lovers Club, Board Game Club, Film Research Club, Gargoyle Studies Club, and the Gourmet Club. Scarabia's students often excel in astrology and ancient incantations, and they tend to be highly resourceful. The current housewarden is Kalim, and the current vice housewarden is Jamil.

Diasomnia, founded on the elegance and nobility of the Fairy of Thorns. Those sorted into this dorm have an innately noble heart that brings with it a great sense of dignity and "fairness." One who truly knows who they are and what they deserve. One who takes and gives what is deserved and no less. Diasomnia for those who excel in magic in all areas. The current Housewarden is Malleus Draconia, while the current vice housewarden is Lilia Vanrouge.
