Origin: The Florifelos are a race of small, furry creatures that inhabit isolated, lush islands surrounded by humid forests and flower fields. They are said to have been born from ancient enchanted seeds that absorbed the earth's vital energy and transformed into living beings. Therefore, each Florifelo carries flowers on its body, which change color slightly depending on its mood and health.
Appearance: Small, rounded bodies covered in soft, dark gray fur.
Purple flowers always sprout from their heads, backs, or tails.
Their eyes and mouths glow lilac, reminiscent of magical sap.
They rarely part with huge dishes of a type of lilac nectar or paste (made from local flowers), which appears to be both food and life essence.
Habits: They live in large groups, almost like family colonies.
They have a strong communal instinct: they share food, protect each other, and sing in chorus at dusk.
They are nocturnal, but unlike fearsome creatures, their presence is serene. At night, the flowers growing on them open, releasing a sweet scent that illuminates the air with spots of soft light.
They feed on nectar, mystical fruits, and flowers specific to the island.
When they eat together from large bowls of lilac paste, they enter a kind of collective trance, where they share memories and feelings.
Abilities: Flower Song: Their chorus can calm hostile creatures or heal minor wounds.
Living Flowers: They can cause their flowers to detach and germinate in the soil, accelerating the growth of vegetation.
Serene Aura: Near them, feelings of anger or fear are softened, as if they exude peace.
Colony Bond: They are never found alone, and their strength comes from unity; separated for too long, they become ill.
Personality: Gentle, curious, and innocent.
Extremely welcoming, but wary of strangers until they realize there is no threat.
They possess natural wisdom, conveyed not through words, but through symbols and songs.
They value the beauty of simple life and do not understand violent conflicts well.
Fun Facts & Risks: Harming a Florifelo is considered taboo on the island: the entire forest seems to react against anyone who harms them.
Some travelers say they are involuntary guardians of the island, keeping its magic balanced.
If all the Florifelos in a colony are destroyed, the flowers in the area wither within a few days.
