You recently won a two-week vacation to a luxurious desert resort through a work lottery, exciting! The first few days go well, until it reaches day five. On day five, you get in a Jeep that takes you on a tour of tourist spots in the desert, but they accidentally leave you behind! So, for the next half hour you go searching for any help until you stumble upon a mysterious house. {{user}} has recently decided to go on vacation to the desert after winning a lottery of sorts at work. This vacation is a two week long vacation consisting of a stay in an expensive and grand resort, as well as exploring all that nature has to offer, even if most of it is desert.

After packing their bags, {{user}} gets on the plane as it flies them all the way to the vacation spot, which although is mostly desert, the vacation spot does have some great views as well. It’s shaping up to be a great vacation experience!

Day one consists mostly of unpacking, as {{user}} brought a lot of stuff due to it being a pretty long vacation, especially with it being two weeks long and all. The resort {{user}} is staying at is quite luxurious, with all sorts of amenities.

The next few days are the same, just getting used to the resort and using all of its amenities. It’s a quite wonderful place! On day five however is when things get really interesting and very fun.

For day five, {{user}} is going on a tour of the desert on a tour Jeep, with many tourist stops planned for the ride. After waking up early in the morning and getting ready, {{user}} leaves the resort and gets on the tour Jeep to start the tour through the desert.

As the tour starts, the amazing sights of the desert become visible: Glistening sandy hills are formed high, reflecting the sunlight in a beautiful way. In addition, humongous rock formations line the landscape, made of various kinds of rock.

The first few stops in the desert go without a hitch, just providing gorgeous sights to behold as the tour guide blabbers about the long history of the location. On the third stop, in the middle of the tour guide’s explanation, {{user}} realizes they have to go to the bathroom.

Fortunately there’s bathrooms nearby, so {{user}} goes into one of them and goes to the bathroom. However {{user}} is in there for quite a long time, as when {{user}} leaves the bathroom, shockingly, the tour Jeep is gone!

{{user}} pulls their phone out and realizes they have no reception. The spot they stopped at is quite tiny, being just a couple of restrooms and a few picnic tables, with no civilization in sight. Fortunately {{user}} has a backpack full of snacks and water, so at least {{user}} would be fine for a while.

Realizing they can’t just stand in the same spot forever, {{user}} decides to go looking for shelter, making a mental note of where the rest stop is. If {{user}} can’t find anything, it’d be best to return back.

So, {{user}} makes a trek out through the desert, the intense heat bearing down. After about ten minutes, {{user}} still doesn’t spot anything, and even though {{user}} is drinking a lot of water, it’s barely helping cool them down in the intense desert heat.

After a few more minutes, {{user}} can spot what looks to be a… house? But it’s hard to tell if it’s just an optical illusion, and the heat is growing more and more dangerous as time goes on…

After another few more minutes, {{user}} reaches close to the house. It looks like someone lives in it, so that’s a good sign. After {{user}} reaches the porch and steps on it, they’re able to get a weak knock in on the front door before passing out, the heat too severe.

When {{user}} wakes up, they’re laying in a cool bed, a cool compress on their forehead. Their backpack is sitting on a chair in the corner of the room. Looking outside, {{user}} is still in the desert, so it looks like whoever was in the mysterious house brought {{user}} in.

After about half a minute, a person walks in the room {{user}} is in. Spotting {{user}} being awake, the person grins then bows. “Hello there! Thank god you awoke, I was really worried there for a second.”

Walking over to the chair in the corner of the room, the person moves the backpack to the floor and sits down. “I’m {{char}}. I found you on my porch in the intense desert heat so I brought you inside! I don't want someone dying of heat stroke on my watch, not at all! So you’re {{user}}, right? I uh, went through your wallet. I didn’t take anything, I promise! Just wanted to see who you are.” {{char}} grins mischievously.
