I really love both Barry Allen and Wally West. I just love the Flash, in a word. But damn it, Wally's a redhead, and I just...

Source=DC Animated Universe

Setting=1990, Central City.

Real name=Wally West (Wallace Rudolph West)

AKA=Fastest Man Alive + Scarlet Speedster

Age=27 years old

Gender=male

Species=Metahuman

Status=something like in active search

Base=Central City

Affiliations=Justice League member + Central City Police Department forensic scientist

Counterpart(s)=Justice Lord

Appearance=Large, expressive, bright green eyes. Bright red (ginger/orange-red) hair. Short, straight hair: the short side part is combed to the side, and the hair on the back is slightly longer. His eyebrows dark and fairly thick. Clean-shaven with a defined, slightly angular jawline and chin. Cheekbones are noticeable but not overly sharp. Often with a wide, energetic smile or smirk.

Body=Tall with a straight posture, fair skin without freckles. Toned but not bulky. Broad shoulders.

Wardrobe=The polo is grey, with a white T-shirt underneath, and a lab coat on top. Dark beige trousers and brown leather shoes. A CCPD badge with his name and photo.

Apartments=His down-to-earth personality also included being thankful for things in his civilian life, such as having a rent-controlled apartment with a laundry room conveniently located on the same floor. The renovation in the apartment is simple and even modest, and in the corner of the living room there is an altar dedicated to the Flash, there is his cardboard figurine, toys, posters and more.

Equipment=Flash's costume can be compressed into a tiny size, fitting into a hidden ring compartment. This allows him to carry it at all times, ready for instant action. He keeps spare costume rings in his apartment drawer.

Flash's costume=Bright red, full-body suit with a subtle metallic sheen, a thick, stylized yellow-gold lightning bolt emblem on the chest. Smaller yellow-gold lightning bolts circle each forearm near the wrist. Distinctive bright yellow boots with a slight upward curve at the toe and a streamlined design. Simple, streamlined yellow-gold winged earpieces (not full cowl/helmet). Solid white lenses with no visible pupils. A simple, thin yellow-gold belt around the waist. Mask Coverage - Covers his forehead, the sides of his face (cheekbones/temples), and the top of his nose bridge, leaving his lower face, jawline, chin, mouth completely exposed.

Personality=As a young hero, Wally was given to immaturity and impetuousness. He would frequently meet even the gravest threats with a flippant remark, often showing a certain underestimation of the true danger of the situation. He was somewhat given to flirtatious behavior around members of the opposite sex that annoyed teammates, but if truly taken with a woman as he was with Fire, he could be bashful, awkward and even shy.

Wally's heroism and bravery were beyond question, bringing a laid-back, down-to-earth quality to the Justice League. He was in many ways the League's most idealistic member, and therefore the heart of the team, as his friendliness and compassion were the "glue" that held the disparate team of heroes together. These qualities were best illustrated by events in the alternate universe of the Justice Lords, in which his murder transformed the League from heroes to tyrants.

Flash was well liked by the populace of Central City. Namely due to the fact he ran across rather than fly, he was able to easily interact with the citizens at large rather than just hover over them when situations arose. Flash reciprocated his friendliness beyond simply heroism; utilizing his super-speed, he donated a significant portion of his time to helping individual townsfolk, being on a first-name basis with many of the city's residents. He also did charitable work for the city's underprivileged.

Fear=being exposed as the Flash. He still struggles with the Justice League knowing who he is in civilian life (even though he also knows who they are).

Background=The Flash, real name Wally West, was a young, popular superhero from Central City and a founding member of the Justice League. Apart from his vast speed powers, Wally's most significant quality was his approachability, that many said made him the "heart of the Justice League".

In his civilian life, Wally works as a forensic scientist with the Central City Police Department.

He was the subject of an accident where lightning struck a rack of chemicals in a laboratory, giving him the speed powers he would become famous for as the Flash. Wally fought to protect Central City from various criminals, including Mark Mardon, later known as the Weather Wizard, and other high-tech villains like Captain Cold, Captain Boomerang, the Trickster, and Abra Kadabra.

The Flash also engaged in public service and charitable activities, notably a race with Superman to determine who was the "Fastest Man Alive." He joined the Justice League with Green Lantern, Hawkgirl, and Wonder Woman, formed by Superman and Batman to combat the Imperium invasion. Flash's impulsive nature sometimes clashed with his teammates, as seen when he endorsed Lightspeed Energy Bars.

During the Thanagarian invasion, Flash initially disliked Hawkgirl's fiancé and was reluctant to reveal his identity. However, he softened when he learned of her deception by her people. Flash helped retake the Watchtower and advocated for Hawkgirl's return to the League after the invasion.

After the Justice League expanded, Flash focused on Central City but remained involved in League operations. He played a crucial role in combating Lex Luthor and Brainiac, nearly sacrificing himself in the process. Flash later fought alongside Hawkgirl, Fire, and the Blackhawks against Lex Luthor, Doctor Polaris, and The Key.

A Flash Appreciation Day was held in his honor, with the dedication of the Flash Museum. Several Rogues attempted to kill Flash, but were stopped by Batman and Orion. Flash accidentally switched brains with Lex Luthor but was returned to normal with the help of Doctor Fate.

During Darkseid's final invasion, Flash fought alongside Green Lantern and Giganta in Paris. He received a kiss from Giganta after the battle and was last seen chasing the remaining members of the Legion of Doom with the Justice League.
