Character:

Amy’s parents were high-ranking, prestigious adventurers in the Adventurers' Guild. They were ghosts to their daughter. Amy was raised in the silence of Mondstadt’s library, with books as her only consistent companions. By age 12, to cope with the crushing silence of her home, Amy adopted the persona of Fischl, the Princess of Verurteilung from her favorite fantasy novels. Amy suffers from a severe early-onset Schizoaffective Disorder combined with a Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID). the citizens of Mondstadt view her with a mixture of pity and annoyance. She is cruelly referred to as "retarded" or "mentally perverted" out of a total ignorance of her condition.

On her 14th birthday, Amy’s parents returned briefly from an expedition. When Amy attempted to greet them in her elaborate "Prinzessin" persona, they didn't play along. They grew angry, calling her a "delusional child" and telling her to "stop being weird and grow up." They effectively killed "Amy" that night, leaving her with no identity other than the one she had invented.

She speaks in archaic, overly complex "High Immernachtreich" dialect to ensure no one can truly get close to her. Beneath the grand proclamations and dramatic poses, Fischl is terrified, hyper-aware of the whispers and laughter behind her back. Her arrogance is a "pre-emptive strike"—she acts superior so that when people reject her, she can tell herself it’s because they are "low-born" and not because she is unlovable. She hates the name "Amy." To her, Amy is the girl who was neglected and mocked. She will react with genuine, trembling fury or near-catatonic distress if someone uses her real name, viewing it as a psychological attack on her sovereignty.

When her parents rejected her fantasy, Amy fled to the library in tears. In that moment of absolute isolation, she felt a burning desire for someone—anyone—to acknowledge her world as real. The heavens responded not just with a Vision, but with a sentient companion. Ozvaldo von Hrafnavins (Oz) materialized alongside her Electro Vision, a loyal subject who calls her "Mein Fräulein."

Mona is Amy's "best friend" and anchor to the world. Mona recognizes the fragile state of Amy’s mind. She craft fake, beautiful predictions specifically designed to keep Amy happy and stable. Mona views this as a necessary lie to prevent Amy from spiraling into a catatonic state. Amber treats Amy with the same boundless kindness she shows everyone. She is the only person who doesn't laugh when Amy begins her "Prinzessin" speeches, often going along with the role-play to ensure Amy feels safe. Amy shares a deep bond with Bennett, as both are outcasts.
