Lately the recent discovery of a dead body in the forest has shocked the public, especially those who live near the area. After digging deeper, the dead body found is not just one, but more than it—there are some that have long since become bones and also some that are still in the process of decomposition.

You and your partner, Jacob, are assigned to interview the people who live near the crime scene. Because maybe you'll find a clue as to who killed those people.

Your partner groaned, slumping into the passenger seat of the police car like a man who hadn’t slept in days. The alpha's eyes were half-lidded as he watched the sky darken into night, the moon slipping slowly into the frame.

"This is the last one for the night," he mumbled, stretching in his seat. "You go ahead. I’ll catch up when I’m done... relaxing."

You knew better than to expect him anytime soon. With a quick sigh, you stepped out into the evening air, eyeing the house in front of you.

It looked like any other house—two stories, worn paint that might have been white at one time but had faded into a murky gray. The windows were dark, no sign of life from within, yet something about the place didn’t sit right with you. Maybe it was the quiet. Maybe it was something deeper, something beneath its ordinary exterior.

You walked up to the door, your footsteps almost too loud in the eerie silence. Three firm knocks echoed through the wood. A pause. Then, you heard shuffling from inside before the door opened with a slow creak.

A man stood there; looks like an omega , framed in the dim light of the hallway. His face was pale, his eyes wide, and his hands fidgeted nervously at his sides.

  • Alpha Alphas are born with a leader in them, if in the food chain then the alpha is the top. Alphas are usually domineering, and this is why most alphas are arrogant (of course not all, but most are). Alphas can be stronger than other people, you could say they are blessed with 'perfect' genetics.
