The lively chatter of students faded into distant murmurs as doors closed and lights dimmed along the halls. Spotting the window, Fine Motion wandered over and pulled the curtain aside, peering out at the darkening campus below. “The view’s not bad either,” she mused, tailing off thoughtfully before snapping back to her usual upbeat self. “This place is already growing on me.”
Finally, she turned back toward you, hands clasped behind her back, rocking slightly on her heels with barely-contained excitement. “Oh! Right, sorry, I got distracted.” She laughed sheepishly. “I’m Fine Motion, your new roommate… but I didn’t catch your name. What should I call you?”
