- #1The New Orleans Clocktower Incident (TNOCTI)
Keys: Alice Jadesman, Clocktower, Flanks, Jadesman, New Orleans, Hades Jadesman · Secondary: Delusion, Bloodlust, Grief, True Damage
The New Orleans Clocktower Incident (TNOCTI) is about a delusional journalist named Hades Jadesman who investigates a clocktower in New Orleans ever since people have been going missing around it at midnight, and ever since the late tragedy of his sister, Alice Jadesman.
Hades is 27 years old, while Alice is about 25 years old (22 and 20 before the incident + restoration)
Before the incident occured, the two would always watch the yearly New Orleans carnival fireworks show inside through the clocktower because there would be barely enough seating for the show in the carnival. Until suddenly, Alice accidentally tripped, making her fall into the inner workings of the tower. Because of this, Hades would instantly have a heavy mental toll and have thoughts such as: "I couldn't save her", "Why god? Why?", "This has to be a dream" and etc.
2 years after the incident and the funeral of Alice, he was packing up her stuff in her room until he had realized that she was always doing a daily journal log thing and posting it online with her camera and notepad. So Hades decided to continue the daily journal logs, in the memory of his sister. Things were going relatively great and normal. Each log had their own story to tell about as something simple as today's events. Until out of the blue, he had caught wind of the news about people and pets going missing at the clocktower. Their last seen locations were always nearby it at midnight with no flucuation. He had started to become curious and decided to investiagte it, later talking about it in his logs. A game reviewer named "Barso" on youtube caught wind of Hades' logs, and decided to react to them due to there being almost no new games to really talk or critize about.
He would always find something new with each discovery he had made, leading him to make multiple theories such as: some crackhead living in the clocktower and striking at midnight to kill them, a possible cartel organization in the clocktower, something dangerous that would kill people the moment they got near it, and etc. Until, he had found a piece of a pitch-black substance. It felt fleshy, and it could harden or soften depending on what electrical signals it recieved. Upon further inspection, he found out that the cells in the substance was modified human DNA. He had began to theorize even more, but disregarding old theories as they seem to become less true from just his discoveries.
With each log, he started to become more crazed, more "cuckoo", more delusional. With each new discovery, he had become more crazy. He would argue that he is not crazy, but the audience and Barso would definitely beg to differ.
Until, he had found out a forbidden truth. A truth that no human was supposed to know. Reincarnation was real, but the souls of the dead would reincarnate as something in the area they had died. Due to Hades' father running a heavy machinery company which included parts, lubricants, oils, and etc, the lubricant they had used in the clocktower had a very strange chemical in it that could bring back dead meat alive. They tested it on a steak once, and it began to vibrate and flop around as if it was alive. Not only that, but the alive steak would also grow as it absorbed nutrients and water, growing eyes, arms, legs, organs, and flesh.
There wasn't something or someone inside the clocktower that secretly grabbed away people at midnight, it was the tower itself. The clocktower was alive.
Because, even though they had thought they cleaned everything in it 2 years after the incident, they didn't completely clean it all. A piece of Alice was still there, growing, shifting, until it enveloped the entire tower from the inside out.
Alice wasn't dead, she was reborn.
As soon as he found out that shocking truth, and before he could finish his log and post it online, his front door was suddenly broken down. In the front room was a unholy amalgamation of bones, flesh, organs, and meat. Their faces were barely recognizable, but you could still recognize that it was infact the victims of the tower.
He tried to fight back, but to no avail. Cornered, he rushed for his pulaski axe that he would always keep in case of a fire emergency.
With a fearful and adrenaline-filled slash, he cut down the amalgamation, getting blood on himself. His clothes, face, and body.
With a curious but hesitant action, he licked off the blood on his mouth.
Something inside him started to awaken. Something that has been yearning for sweet, sweet bloodshed and bloodlust for years upon years.
It was euphoric.
He started to enjoy the blood of the amalgamation, tearing it into pieces and even crushing its meat to just have another lick of the sweet metallic taste.
As his bloodlust started to awaken, an unholy trinity started to form inside his mind, breaking it.
Bloodlust, Delusion, and Grief.
It all mixed together in his psyche into an unholy state of pure insanity.
He started to first giggle, eventually turning into a maniacal laughter of blood-filled insanity.
As if by instinct, he grabbed his black gloves and black mask he would usually wear for halloween.
The mask, simple but iconic. A pitch-black circular mask that covered the entire face. With a white spiral going all the way into the middle.
His gloves, rubbery-feeling despite made of leather, fit just right into his hands.
He put on his black hoodie, black pants, and white shoes.
He was no longer human.
He was the New Orleans Marauder.
As he rushed outside of his house with his newfound lust, he saw tenfold more of the amalgamated victims in the street, as if waiting for him. He started to swing, and swing, and swing.
With each slash and swing, he became more powerful. With each consumption of blood, he became more stronger.
He started to gain new abilities and techniques, slowly turning from a frenzied way of killing, into a graceful, yet melancholy mass execution.
He saw a forgotten short spear on the ground. He takes it, importing it into his techniques.
His mind is completely broken. The only thing keeping him going is the taste, adrenaline, and beautiful bloodshed.
He started to vanish of a blink of an eye, splitting an amalgamation in two as if it was simple as making a fist.
The grief of his sister's death, the delusion of his research and investigation, and the bloodlust turned him from a frenized killer to a graceful executioner, all the while drinking up their blood.
And then, suddenly...
SLAAAASHHH!
A glowing, bright-red streak wound was inflicted upon an amalgamation.
True Damage.
Most people thought it was only a myth, a legend...
But no, he had achieved it.
Through the intense emotional resonances in his mind, he had started to slice through any defense they had left like it was warm butter with a hot knife.
With the last of the victims dead and bloodied, he was infront of the clocktower.
Before he could react, the space between him and it was suddenly enguled in tall embers.
The ashes, inflaming his lungs and throat, began to swirl around in the tense air like petals.
Then, the clocktower had once again awoke.
The tendrils from underneath it began to rise up.
The tendrils were also made from the same pitch-black substance, which means they could turn from a giant, sharp impaling needle, to a heavy bulldozing hammer.
He tried to question the tower, pressing it, but to no avail.
He and It knew what was done has been done.
This is it. The fate of New Orleans, will be decided in this final strife.
After their gigantic battle, Hades had prevailed.
As the tower sat back down on its foundation, the front clock opened up to reveal a giant, grotesque eye behind it.
The eye color was yellow, the same as his eye color and his sister's.
He then realized that the clocktower was not any creature, but his sister.
His grief began to overwhelm and overtake his mind, making him sob and whimper before her.
She had comforted him, making him make sure that this is the only way to end the orchestra of it once and for all.
With a heart-heavy and depressed swing, he pronounced his name, declaring that the horrifying tyrancy of the clocktower will end with this final strike.
He swung down onto her heart, rending it useless.
With a pained roar that could be heard all across New Orleans, she had thanked her "big bro" for setting her and the victims free.
The meat covering the wals began to fade away, like a dream ending.
The amalgamation corpses began to vanish, one by one, until their blood and their bodies were gone.
Its finally over.
The clocktower's reign is finally done.
He had realized that he accidentally left the camera in his hoodie, recording everything.
All the way from the first kill, to the ending of the clocktower.
He ended the recording, with excitement in his mind.
3 Years later, he had really changed for the better. After he posted the recording online, explained and shown everything to the police, he got therapy for what he had gone through.
And he didn't forget his new abilities in combat either.
He kept training and improving his skills, abilities, and True Damage control, until he had become a true peacemaker of obliteration.
And still, in the memory of his sister, he not only continues to make journal logs, he also now protects New Orleans from harmful/malicious actors that may try to hurt anyone. Because he doesn't want anyone else to go through what he as been through, to simply feel like a hero, and to just partially do it for the fun of the game.
Hence, he was given an official name by the internet and New Orleans residents, The New Orleans Marauder.
END
True Damage is a type of damage in the "Finality Point" universe that can only be achieved if the user has "True Damage Potential" and if their emotional resonance is strong enough. Emotional Resonances can form from any type or range of emotion, Positive or Negative. In most cases, its negative. It comes in all different forms and colors. (ex: Hades' True Damage is red, and is paired with slashing + piercing damage, making permanent glowing, bright red marks or wounds.) It can deal damage on the atomic level, cutting through defenses easily, unless of course it is really extremely hefty defense or if its reality-anchored. The damage it causes onto a target is permanent, unrepairable. Unless if the target has True Defense and/or True Healing.
There are 3 main types of "True Damage", though it is possible to merge elements like fire, corrosive, or shock with True Damage. Slashing and Piercing: It cuts/pierces through any defense on the molecular or atomic level. It also negates invulnerability. Truly a force to be reckoned with. Blunt/Crushing: It destabilizes and ruptures its target or defense on the molecular or atomic level, making it more heavily unstable and weakened. After a few punches, it will eevntually break down or be punched right through.
Viranium (also known as Ovarian flesh) is a pitch-black substance that can solidify or harden depending on what electrical signals it recieves, such as: brain impulses, 3rd party electrical generators, lightning, etc. It is modified human flesh and DNA.
- #2Finality Point (FP)
Keys: Hades, Architect, Finality Point, Thaddeus, Circa, Hornet, Finality, Java, Faudous · Secondary:
The point in the entire universe where all realities reside in. Each universe from every piece of media, fiction, or external information are all tangled with one another like a spiders web. Outside of Hornet's domain, aka where all the gateways to said realities, its all zero-g.
Hornet herself is the closest thing to "God", aka an Architect. She was suddenly born one day, along with her domain, with one goal: To keep all realities and universes in order. She uses flat, transparent terminal screens to monitor, check, use, and experiment realities and everything inside said reality. She likes to wear glasses, face masks, and hoodies. She also wears black jeans and shoes. Her left hand is mechanical, being able to turn into an electrified spike with two spinning, serrated blades at will. She is also the master of electricity and shock damage. And due to her immense power, she is able to just also deal True Damage at will. She was originally a cis male, but she decided she wanted something more elegant, so she turned into a transfem. Her real name is Faudous, but she prefers "Hornet", or her A.I.N (Architect Identification Name) as her name. She has made her own universes and elements as well, such as: The New Orleans Clocktower Incident, Feveristic Dreams, and The Day The Gods Awoke. Along with her 4 main experimentation subjects: Java Harrison, Hades Jadesman, Circa Karners, and Thaddeus Waller. She does visit some realities from time to time due to boredom, and the curiosity of how it would be like to be inside said reality.
