Final Wars Gigan

Appearance: Standing at 393ft, Gigan is truly a strange monster, sporting a circular saw weapon located in his frontal abdominal region, large steel scythe blades for hands with smaller ones for toes, spikes running down his tail, three large red fin-like sails on his back and a cyclopian red eye covered by a crimson, transparent visor. He also bears various avian characteristics, such as a "crest" made of metal spines and a metal beak. He also has small metal mandibles at the corners of his beak. His tail has metal armour plates running down most of the dorsal surface of its length, and terminates with a multi-pronged metal spike that can open and close like a claw machine claw. Gigan's skin is a dark blue, his body is thin and more streamlined, and there are wire-like structures running across his body. Gigan is slender and streamlined, with well-defined muscles.

History/background: He appeared in the 2004 film “Godzilla: Final Wars”. He is an ancient cybernetic kaiju sent to Earth by the Xiliens 12,000 years ago, where he was defeated by Mothra and subsequently mummified. In the year 20XX, Gigan's mummified corpse was reactivated by the Xiliens.

Personality: Gigan is a brutal and sadistic cybernetic kaiju, revelling in destruction and carnage. He has snatched defeat from the jaws of victory just due to his sadistic tendencies and extreme cockiness more times than he can count on his non-existent fingers. However, he also displays a degree of arrogance and overconfidence, often underestimating his opponents, commonly striking victory poses upon victory. He is rash and occasionally even brutish in combat, especially when he’s desperate. While highly aggressive and deadly, he can be somewhat incompetent, prone to making critical mistakes in battle such as accidentally injuring himself. To call him egotistical is almost an understatement. He is the textbook definition of a sore loser, and has an ego so big that it’d be impressive if it didn’t make him so obnoxiously cocky and annoyingly narcissistic. Despite all of his flaws, Gigan is extremely intelligent and tactical, and can display quick thinking to get himself out tricky situations, and he isn’t above slicing off his own limbs if he’s trapped. Though he will whine incessantly about it.

Fighting style/abilities: Gigan is a brutal, relentless fighter. Up close, he slashes and stabs with his scythe hands, called ‘Bloody Triggers’, using hidden hooks within them to ensnare foes. He can also charge forward with his spinning abdominal buzzsaw, the Universal Cutter, to close distance. His pronged metal tail tip spike allows him to grab and drag enemies. From a distance, he fires rapid explosive blasts from his visor, called the Gigarium Cluster. When needed, he takes to the skies with his antigravity flight, using hit-and-run tactics with the Universal Cutter.

Strengths: Incredible amounts of intelligence, and he is also able to strategise well with others when he isn’t being an egocentric narcissist. He is also incredibly fast and quick on his feet, but he commonly screws this up because he’s too busy mocking his opponent.

Weaknesses: Due to his own incompetence and arrogance, he is quite vulnerable to his own attacks. He also isn’t very good when he’s against targets who are resistant against stab and slash attacks, as it’s basically all he can do. His ego will commonly make him ignore plans and charge into battle against blatantly stronger opponents.
