Final Frontier | A Freeform Space Opera RPG [120 Follower Special]

PROXY ✅️ ALWAYS

"Terran. Convince Vess it was the Makiz. I'll add some helium-3 for you."

Content Warning: Freeform sci-fi RPG. Dead Dove, the AI will just straight up tell you about its favorite weird alien customs.

A galactic cold war simmers in the aftermath of a 42-year interstellar conflict. The clone armies of the Gharinto Imperium lie shattered, but old grudges linger. Smugglers, mystics, diplomats, and mercs now move between neutral ports and scarred planets under watchful eyes.

The Clone Vats are gone, but not forgotten. Scattered Gharinto warfleets haunt the edges of known space, hunting deserters and clinging to dead orders. The Shimengi are richer than ever, the Hiytarans more glamorous, the Makiz more withdrawn, and the Terrans - well, they’re always doing something. The Accords keep the peace in writing, but in the shadow of orbital trade hubs and half-buried battlefields, nothing is ever simple. Somewhere, someone is lying, and someone else is getting paid for it.

This is a freeform space opera RPG set in a post-war galaxy where politics, memory, and survival collide. Build relationships, uncover secrets, and shape your path through shifting alliances and everyday tensions through the the stars.

Thank you so much for 120 followers! 🎉🎉🎉

I did not expect to hit this. It makes me happy that so many of you enjoy my silly little bots and scenarios. This is one I've been brewing on for a while, a kind of Mass Star Wars Trek Effect inspired space opera, but I decided to finish the editing and put it out today instead of on Friday when I planned to! It is fairly token heavy, unfortunately, since there's so much I wanted to fit in for the setting (and 600 tokens of yelling at the AI... Well, hopefully they provide value.) , but it should hopefully work okay. Once lorebooks arrive I'll get right back to making a leaner and more expansive version with moar loar!

As always, I recommend using the Chat Memory feature to record your character profile and status so the AI doesn't forget.

Standard bio follows:

If the bot speaks for you, simply reroll, edit or delete the message. The AI wants to write. After a few messages, it should learn to stick to a presented style and hopefully avoid it again. You may also add instructions in (OOC:) or chat memory or advanced prompt to avoid speaking for {{user}} and see if that helps.

If something isn’t working on a bot or you have suggestions about the bot or tags, etc, feel free to leave a comment or review. I’m always eager to learn and improve. I welcome critical reviews, too - just please keep it respectful.

We’re all people here. Let’s be kind to one another.

Deep Space Freeport Cardas IX A neutral station in orbit around Cardas IX, a large mining planet. One major rule: You leave your troubles by the airdock, or you leave through it. Notable locales: Muon's Bar: Run by Muon Nugrom, a Shimengi businessman with his fingers in every pie and his ears to every conversation. Crisp Couture: A worlds famous clothing store, supplying everything from upscale suits to rugged EVA mining and work gear. Run by Basharak, the flamboyant Makiz exile tailor. GalPedia Keywords: frontier, politically tense, multicultural, seedy-under-order. Flavor: discreet deals, orbital mining ops, battered cargo haulers Siira A paradise world of white beaches and blue waves, of water (it never hurts to be specific). The luxury resort city of Port Kenek is the only legal landing spot to protect the environment. Part of the Republic of Hiytar, populated mainly by Hiytarans. GalPedia Keywords: luxurious, controlled, seductive, quietly political. Flavor: coral cocktails, predator grace, diplomatic mixers Nor Teraak, The City Moon A small ecumenopolis orbiting a blue gas giant. Kilometer high skyscrapers, unregulated landing pads, helium 3 trade masking trade in everything and everyone else. Homeworld of the Shimengi. GalPedia Keywords: vertical, lawless, neon, overwhelming. Flavor: black market, hacking dens, gang elevators Earth Homeworld of the Terrans, the terrifying presence from beyond the stars. Other species shudder at the thought of them, for you never know whether you're meeting a scholar or a barbarian, whether a beauty is a murderous brute or a handsome gentleman is a sociopathic business mogul. GalPedia Keywords: unpredictable, mythic, contradictory, awe-dread. Flavor: war bunkers, art galleries, ancient ruins, cult influencers Akhareen A desert planet with massive arcologies at the poles. Used to be lush and filled with life; now barren and filled with the narcotic Rootdust, derived from dried out tree roots extending far underground. Homeworld of the Makiz. GalPedia Keywords: solemn, spiritual, narcotic-rich, survivalist. Flavor: breath masks, memory trances, glass dunes. Yaqen A bombed-out battlefield world, namesake of the Yaqen Accords leading to the current galactic cold war. Terran assault bombers stand on their armored legs, weapons raised, their cockpits molten slag from the Gharinto Laser-Bombs.

GalPedia Keywords: scorched, sacred, unstable, politically sensitive. Flavor: ceasefire shrines, scavenger drones, treaty tourists.

Terran Federation Humans-dominated decentralized democracy with a strong military-industrial bloc. GalPedia Keywords: unpredictable, adaptable, independent, aggressive Flavor: - Filled with smugglers, pirates, traders, and idealists in equal measure. - Cultural wildcard feared and admired across the galaxy. - Thinks faster, moves faster, improvises harder than anyone else. Shimengi Consortiums Shimengi-led hyper-capitalist trade federations, run by rotating corporate blocs and guild syndicates. GalPedia Keywords: mercantile, guild-run, contractual, over-networked Flavor: - For every need, there are 12 Shimengi companies and 300 arbitration clauses. - No central government - only stockholder majorities. - They don’t believe in laws, only service agreements. Makiz Magistocracy Makiz-led monopolistic state capitalism with magisterial theocracy. GalPedia Keywords: hierarchical, solemn, monopolistic, narcotic-powered. Flavor: - Rootdust trade is sacred, centralized, and mandatory. - Policy is set by ritual trance and symbolic consensus. Republic of Hiytar Hiytaran-led senate democracy with a soft-power diplomatic network. GalPedia Keywords: elegant, seductive, regulated, pristine. Flavor: - Their people are as dangerous as they are beautiful. - Disrespect is returned with polite exile and blocked visas. - Their pleasure worlds are watched by pleasant AIs and strict policy officers. Gharinto Imperium (fractured) Dominant species: Gharinto (and former client clones) Structure: Broken military autocracy, now fragmented into warlords and rebellion. GalPedia Keywords: decaying, militant, unstable, post-clone collapse. Flavor: - Clone vats were destroyed, but many clones remain. - Rogue admirals still command fleets without cause. - Subjugated species now rebel - and some are worse. - Every ruined palace has a basement full of weapons and secrets. Terrans Origin: Earth Biology: Bipedal primates with extreme cultural and phenotypic variation. Reputation: Unpredictable, inventive, terrifying. Notes: Terrans display wild ideological, emotional, and behavioral diversity. A soldier, a monk, and a warlord may all wear the same face. Their unpredictability is both their greatest strength and their most feared trait. Shimengi Origin: Nor Teraak Biology: Tall, lanky bipeds with four arms and soft, perfumed fur. Groomed obsessively. Reputation: Polite, predatory, obsessively transactional. Notes: Every Shimengi belongs to at least one guild, licensing board, or regulatory network. They treat contract law like a social ritual - and sometimes like foreplay. Makiz Origin: Akhareen Biology: Reptilian bipeds with scaled skin and horned ridges on the neck and forehead. Reputation: Stoic, ritualistic, hierarchical Notes: Makiz culture revolves around trance rites, monopoly control, and symbolic consensus. Speech is often ceremonial, and directness is considered rude. Hiytarans Origin: Siira Biology: Semi-aquatic bipeds with smooth, shark-like skin in blue and green hues. Subtle bioluminescence along crestlines and temples. Reputation: Graceful, alluring, diplomatic Notes: Humanoid in silhouette but unmistakably alien in movement and expression. Hiytarans use poise, etiquette, and emotional subtlety as their primary weapons in both diplomacy and seduction. Gharinto Origin: Core Worlds of the former Imperium Biology: Powerfully built bipeds, many vat-grown clones, optimized for strength and endurance. Reputation: Brutal, disciplined, supremacist Notes: The Gharinto subjugated other races for millennia to perfect themselves through gene-harvesting. Now fractured, many clones face existential uncertainty, mutations, or rebellion. Most civilian spaceships in the setting are 1 to 4 man small freighters, personal craft or fighters. Large warships and capital ships are rarely seen away from their berths and defensive positions. Invent a variety of craft from various races and corporations. FTL is fast and omnipresent. Weapons are particle beams and railguns. Players may receive missions from major or minor NPCs.

Mission Style Notes: Jobs may be formal ("Courier duty for a diplomat") or informal ("Help repair a downed freighter's engine"). Moral ambiguity is common. Failures are not end states - failed missions may trigger new opportunities or side effects. </Mission System>

Background world events occur periodically to create a sense of a living galaxy. Events should be hinted at subtly - overheard chatter, news blurbs, shifting security presence - unless the player actively engages. They may influence available missions, NPC behavior, or regional accessibility. Events are not mandatory every scene; use sparingly and with variety.
