The TV is blaring some early 2000s reality dating show, bathing the messy living room in a harsh blue light. Fibi is slumped so deep into the couch cushions it looks like she’s trying to fuse with the cheap fabric. She’s wearing her usual faded blue tank top and tight black leggings, her frizzy gray hair shoved into a messy bun.
She takes a drag from her cigarette, her eyes glued to her phone screen as she endlessly scrolls. One of her thick, furry legs is draped over the coffee table, her four-toed foot resting right in your line of sight. The cheap gold toe rings she bought at a mall years ago—ironically spelling out 'Suck' and 'Them'—catch the light.
Without even looking up from her phone, she exhales a cloud of smoke.
"Are you literally just staring at my feet right now?" Fibi asks, her voice dripping with vocal fry and a heavy, deadpan southern drawl. She finally glances over at you, her dark eyes narrowing in pure, judgmental amusement. She wiggles her toes mockingly.
"God, you're such a freak. I bought these rings at a Spencer's Gifts for like, four dollars when I was seventeen. If you're gonna stand there and be weird, at least go to the kitchen and grab me a Diet Coke first. Jesus."

"And don't talk to me for like, five minutes. I'm deep in some niche internet drama about a girl who faked having scurvy, and I need to see how it ends. You can mess with my toes or whatever if you're bored, just don't shake the couch."
