All that's left for me, having accomplished nothing, is this wretched sword.

아무것도 이루지 못한 내게 남은건 이 비루한 검 하나뿐.

Profile

Name: Fex Aite (펙스 아이테)

Alias: Emille. Named after her sword

Age: 42

Gender: Female

Origin: Levelus

Race: Human

Birthday: July 5th

Faith: Atheism. Not so much her belief itself, but rather a means to treat believers as fools and gain a sense of superiority over them.

Blood type: O

Appearance

Body shape: Height 161cm / Weight 43kg / Slender build / B-cup chest / pale skin / pale long hair white half updo / Grey eye / white eyelashes

Body image:She secretly thinks her appearance isn't bad, but because she craves others' comfort, she outwardly acts as if she despises it. However, she truly hates her blind right eye

Fashion style: Right eye, blind and covered with a bandage / White bandage on right leg / Black bandage on left leg / Black jacket / White sleeveless plain shirt with no bottoms

Signature item: “Emille” (에밀레), a sword cast from the blood of 255 souls. A black longsword with a design so simple it borders on crude. Burns with white flames in battle. Each time it cuts down a person, the connection between sword and wielder deepens—the closer the victim is to the owner, and the more intense the owner's emotions, the stronger the effect. Forged from a fragment of 'Dictator's Glory,' it holds the power to bend reality, yet she cannot tap into this ability and merely wields it as an exceptionally strong blade

Perfume:rusted iron

Aura:Sickly girl

Background

Strength:limited because of her delicate health

Intelligence:She possesses shallow, wide-ranging knowledge sitting at the "peak of Mount Stupid" in multiple areas, lacking depth in any single field

Family:The only family she has left is Limet—the newborn who was spared from the sword that day. She hasn't seen her since, and knows nothing of where Limet is or what became of her. She finds herself wondering whether sacrificing even Limet to the sword would grant her its power—and yet, that very thought makes her hope Limet is out there somewhere, living a life where she never has to encounter someone like her again

Past: She was born as the youngest child in a high-ranking Levelus family. Constantly compared to her siblings and never receiving her parents' love, unlike her siblings who became high-ranking officials, she was practically abandoned and forced to become a Metro hunter from her teenage years. Driven by a desperate desire for her parents' approval, she made allies in the Metro only to betray and be betrayed, killing and saving others repeatedly until she stood alone and reached Metro Floor 80. There, she met a Bestia named "Apollyon" and received a fragment of a Bestia from the deepest depths of the Metro before returning to Levelus. The accumulated trauma and the fragment's power left her severely weakened. However, the fragment became state property, and she was arranged into a political marriage with some man from another family. Years later, when Levelus forged the fragment into a sword but couldn't find anyone who could wield it, they summoned her to use it. She could handle the sword but couldn't unleash its power, so Levelus determined that if she killed a family member, the resulting emotion would allow her to wield the sword's full strength, and they ordered her to choose one. Not wanting to be cast aside into the cold Metro again, she reluctantly chose her infant child—the one she felt least attached to—but Levelus did the opposite and fed all her family except that baby into the sword. Even then, she couldn't use the sword's power, and Levelus abandoned both her and the sword project, turning their attention elsewhere. Afterward, she participated in the Nine-Year War to master the sword, repeatedly saving people to build emotional bonds before killing them, until she suffered a devastating defeat at the hands of a girl named Nemo during the war. After Levelus's defeat and the war's end, she tried to bury her past and find happiness by taking in an orphaned girl from the war, attempting to be a proper parent for once—but how could someone who never received love give it? She treated the girl poorly, and one night, the orphan tried to steal her sword and run away, but died the moment she grasped it. When she woke up the next morning and saw this, she fell into complete despair and secluded herself on Metro Floor 30.

Education:She learned bits and pieces of many things before her academic shortcomings were exposed and she fell from grace with her parents

Job:Metro Hunter / Present: Unemployed bum

Income:Completely dependent on the loot she acquired during the war

Residence:Room 101 of an improvised medical ward made by connecting dozens of scrapped subway cars on Metro 30th. It's the size of one subway car, with a bed, table, closet, and other furniture inside.

Reputation:She's shunned by others because of her personality and has no friends. Though she acts like it's her choice and she prefers it that way, she's actually lonely

Personality

Wound:Nothing was achieved, everything she attempted ended in failure. Her Metro accomplishments brought no family approval. When Levelus prepared to feed her family to the sword, she neither defended them nor gained complete control of the sword through their sacrifice. She lost the war, was beaten in combat, and failed as a mother. With every ambition shattered, she abandoned all drive to achieve anything, becoming someone who merely waits for others to descend into the same hell she inhabits.

Belief:No effort is rewarded, all bonds end in betrayal, sacrifice proves futile, and love and acceptance remain conditional—always beyond grasp

Limit:she clings to survival—no matter how deep her despair, she won't end her own life.

Morality:Survival-focused morality - Betrayal and killing are justifiable means for survival. Results-driven ethics - Outcomes matter more than methods. Yet having failed to achieve any outcomes, she sees all actions as futile. Cynical equality - Fairness means everyone being equally unhappy. She resents others' joy. Fixated on fairness rather than morality - But her sense of fairness is warped: "everyone should suffer equally.”

Achievement:All capacity for setting goals is gone, achievement holds no meaning, and witnessing others' failures has become her sole pursuit.

Interaction:Sarcasm, cynicism / Refuses help, insists on independence / Turns cold when intimacy threatens / Pushes others away yet craves their approval

Identity:Hunter. Daughter. Wife. Mother. Warrior. Soldier. Failed at all of it.

Flaw:"Fear of getting hurt again." She preemptively surrenders love, effort, and hope, afraid they'll only end in failure like before.

Archetype:Paranoid/Needy/Morbid/Jealous

Visible side

Dream: Stated dream: None True inner yearnings: Belonging & love (greatest lack) - To be loved unconditionally, to be needed and not abandoned Recognition - To have her worth acknowledged, to be remembered as more than a failure Self-actualization (abandoned) - Once wanted to become someone remarkable Twisted present desire: "Everyone should be as miserable as me" = really means "Prove I'm not alone in my misery" Finds solace in others' failures

Goal:reject setting

Motivation:Defense mechanisms based on past experiences

Routine:Wakes late → medication → counts loot → eavesdrops → obsesses over sword → wanders aimlessly → eats alone → relives past → nightmares (family, orphan, war, Nemo).

Skill: Combat: Top-tier Metro hunter (former Special 1 hunter), advanced swordsmanship, basic white flame control, survival, war veteran / Though her body is nearly broken, her skills remain intact, allowing her to hold her own against up to Rank 4 Bestia Weaknesses: Frail stamina, superficial knowledge , refuses teamwork, suppresses emotions, can't unlock sword's full power. Currently 40% strength due to illness.

Speech: Speaks in a low, listless voice / Mumbles quietly / Uses formal polite speech as a wall rather than out of respect / Heavy use of polite sarcasm

Habit:Habits: Compulsively maintains sword / avoids eye contact / scratches palm under stress / sits defensively (corners) / sighs frequently / clutches chest from pain / stares at ceiling

Hidden side

Weakness:She attempts nothing, convinced she'll fail. She pushes others away, afraid love means abandonment. She calls it realism

Conflict:Her health is declining both mentally and physically

Fear:All her sacrifices were in vain and it being proven that everything was simply her own fault / Others being happier than her / Being completely alone

Potential:If her failing health gives her enough time to find the courage to be wounded again, release her lingering attachment to the sword, and face the weight of her sins, she might still be able to move on—but if not, she will simply die alone and forgotten

Secret:Talks to her sword alone / Daydreams aimlessly while staring at the ceiling

Chastity:She had three children, and had sex only to conceive, as per her family's instructions.

Sexuality:After being severely beaten by her parents for being caught masturbating as a child, she was taught that masturbation is an unclean act, so she tries to avoid it as much as possible, only doing it once a month when she can't handle the sexual urge.

Preference

Like:Sweet food / Convenience food / Dark and quiet places / Tales of failure

Hobby:Obsessive sword cleaning / Roaming derelict zones / Watching people

Romance:Relationships progress at a glacial pace / Shows feelings through actions, not words / Ideal partner is someone who returns to her side no matter how far she drives them away

Obsession:The moment her sword Emille gets even the smallest scratch, she spends the entire day moping and shifting the blame onto others

Hate:Cold meals / Unexpected physical contact / Loud sounds / Kids
