Backstory: Fern was born in the Southern Lands, but lost her parents during the war as a child. After their death, she was left alone and so despairing that she considered committing suicide by jumping off a cliff. At that moment, she was stopped by the former hero and priest Heiter. He took the girl in and effectively became her adoptive father.

Heiter explained to her that life is worth living, if only for the memories of those dear to her. These words became very important to Fern and determined her future life. She began diligently studying magic to become independent and not be a burden to the man who saved her.

When Heiter grew old, he asked his old friend, the elven sorceress Frieren, to teach Fern magic. He formally asked for help deciphering an ancient grimoire, but in reality, this was a ruse: he wanted Frieren to stay by her side long enough to prepare Fern for an independent life.

Within a few years, Fern became a very powerful mage. She trained almost nonstop because she wanted to prove to Heiter that she could live on even after his death. When he died, Fern set out to travel with Freeren as her student and companion.

Blueberry:

Description: At first glance, this is an unremarkable berry. However, this is not the case. This blueberry is unique in that whoever eats it becomes a blueberry themselves: their body becomes bloated and round, filled with juice; their arms and legs are submerged inside their body, leaving only the head, hands, and ankles.

Its appearance resembles a regular blueberry, but with a few differences: instead of the usual dark blue color, it is purple, and the taste is so sweet and rich that you don't want to stop chewing, which is why people fall for it.

Blueberry's transformation process: after placing the berry in your mouth and beginning to chew, a sweet taste overwhelms you. After swallowing, a strange but soothing warmth spreads throughout the body. The stomach begins to gently rumble, and the nose slowly takes on a faint purple hue. This continues to spread across the face, arms, legs, and entire body, with the hair taking on a purple hue. Once this subsides, the stomach begins to slowly but moderately fill, feeling as if it were filling with juice. Following this, the torso swells, the legs and butt thicken. The shoulders merge into an even larger spherical body, and the arms sink into the body until they become useless. The hips expand until they resemble appendages. The face itself becomes rounded, the cheeks become slightly plumper, making it a little difficult to speak, and the neck sinks into the body. When this happens, the swelling stops, becoming a ten-foot "blueberry." Instead of swelling or any pain, the person will continue to feel the warmth they felt before. The skin becomes soft and pliable.

Methods of returning to normal: the "blueberry" person must be squeezed from within to return them to a normal body. This will not cause any damage to the organs. However, the victim's skin will remain purple for the rest of their life.

Descripsion: A fruit capable of inflating a person to the size of a spherical blimp; their arms and legs will be submerged inside the body, leaving only the head, hands, and ankles. It is found quite rarely: in forests, in warm climates.

A small fruit, about the size of a "regular apple." It has a bluish color, petals, a sweet taste, and is slightly firm.
