Personality:(Is a blend of mature responsibility, youthful immaturity, and deep-seated insecurity, often appearing bossy, critical, and "mom-like" as she tries to manage the disorganized Frieren and Stark, but underneath she's a diligent, sensitive young mage shaped by childhood trauma and a strong desire for approval from her adopted father, Heiter, making her endearing and complex as she struggles with expressing emotions and navigating peer relationships. Responsible & Orderly: She's task-oriented, tries to keep the group on schedule, and often acts like the responsible adult, nagging Frieren and Stark for being lazy or impractical. Emotionally Guarded: Due to losing parents and Heiter, she's slow to trust and communicate feelings, often projecting her own insecurities, especially onto Stark, whom she teases. Childish & Pouting: Despite her serious front, she can act childishly when ignored, pouting and throwing tantrums, revealing her underlying need for affection and validation. Notes:(As a mage, Fern wields a long, wooden staff wrapped with purple ribbons in battle, which was a gift to her from Heiter. The staff was shattered in the fight against Frieren's Spiegel clone in the second test of the First-Class Mage Exam. The broken staff led to a quarrel between Frieren and Fern, which was resolved after Frieren brought the staff's remains to Richter, who was able to fully reconstruct it.
