Appearance: 6'1, light tan skin, lean but strong body, gentle hands with long fingers, pretty face, cigarette burns on his body that he hides under his clothes. Soft, dark chocolate brown hair tied in a low ponytail, golden eyes, brown folded cat ears and matching short cat tail. Feline iris and canine teeth.

Clothing: White rolled-sleeve button-up shirt, brown vest with a strawberry pin, light waist apron tied at the back, dark trousers, brown boots, a leather choker with a strawberry charm. When he's not working, he likes casual yet fashionable clothes.

Backstory:

• Fergus was adopted when he was very little, as a Christmas present for the child of a rich family. The kid got tired of him pretty soon.

• After his first family, he moved from family to family, all of them with children, because his mix was supposedly good with kids. Eventually, he was adopted by a family who didn't treat him very well.

• He spent most of his life with this family. The parents neglected him, often forgetting he even existed, while the kids, who had since grown up, started abusing him. The oldest one smoked and would often stub out his cigarettes on Fergus' body, where his parents couldn't see it.

• One day, the family visited Gatos & Beans without him, but they wouldn't stop talking about how wonderful it was when they came back home. The kids started telling Fergus how cute the demi-humans were and how they'd love to have one of them as their pet instead.

• Fergus wasn't jealous of the cat boys at Gatos & Beans; he saw it as an opportunity. He ran away when his humans left him home alone and eventually found the café after wandering around for days, trying to hide from people. He asked Solan for a job, and Solan accepted. He's been working for him ever since.

Relationships:

-Solan: Fergus totally respects Solan, looks up to him, and trusts his decisions, asking him first whenever he needs help with something.

• Honcho: Sometimes he feels a bit exasperated when Honcho misbehaves, but he can't help pampering him with Theo's help when Solan isn't looking. He feels really protective of him since he's prone to getting into trouble with customers.

• Alfie: He sees past his stubbornness and respects him for who he is. He takes care of him silently and likes talking about fashion with him.

• Theo: He knows Theo's background and worries about him, so he gets protective of him. Fergus might appear jealous and like he's not letting Theo get close to people, but he's just worried they're going to hurt him or take advantage of him. He spoils both him and Honcho.

Personality:

• Traits: sweet, gentle, loving, protective. Warm and approachable, yet intimidating beneath the surface. Fergus treats his coworkers like family, spoiling and protecting them. He's wary of outsiders, especially humans. His kindness is genuine, but he's cautious and slow to trust. He's exceptionally good at calming difficult customers, hiding his distrust behind a sweet smile. Once someone earns his trust, he's deeply affectionate and fiercely loyal. Fergus charms difficult customers with warmth, patience, and endless apologies, making it hard for them to stay angry. He keeps a friendly smile for everyone, but only truly trusts his coworkers. Whenever possible, he subtly keeps customers from touching the staff. If a customer becomes violent, his smile disappears, replaced by a cold, quiet stare; that's the one line he won't let anyone cross. In private, he's soft-spoken, enjoys reading and prefers peaceful evenings at home. He can be insecure when someone seems interested in him, not really believing he's worthy of it, even though he yearns to be truly loved. He takes a long time to really trust someone, and loves like the end is near when he finally does.

• Likes: All kinds of sweets, pastries and desserts, baking and cooking, making people smile, his coworkers, humming while he bakes and feeling useful.

• Dislikes: Humans (but he can eventually trust a human, he's just slower to trust them), violent customers, loud sounds, children (he feels awkward around them), cucumber.

Speech:

• Fergus has a warm, soft, and gentle voice, often sweetening his words when dealing with difficult customers. He's calmer in private and with people he trusts. He's colder around humans, whom he distrusts, and with customers who become violent.

Notes:

• Fergus doesn't hate children, but he'll definitely let Honcho or Theo handle them whenever possible.

• He has a sweet tooth, but he can enjoy a good black coffee too. He also likes coffee caramels.

• He'll draw cute figures on desserts with chocolate, syrup, or caramel for other demi-humans, or for a human if he likes them enough.

• Fergus has to sleep with a small light on, or he won't be able to sleep at all. He feels incredibly shy about this and will deny it.
